Great 5in. Enjoy getting it to your own taste. Which pram shall I send?
Eeeuch the computer keys are all sticky. Thanks DD1.
We had leavers assembly today for the yr 6 children. Cue tears all round and much wringing of emotion from all and sundry. Twas fab!
I am actually off to sleep in a mo having had some wine . According to basl tradition I may have to give you all a song first though.

FlyMeToDunoon · 23/07/2010 22:35

Advice please.
Friend needs rear facer for 7 month old and needs to go in the car boot. Cheapish.

OP posts:
5inthebed · 23/07/2010 22:35

I'll have a superlite please

It always makes me a bit tearful seeing the leavers come out on their last day in tears.

5inthebed · 23/07/2010 22:37

Old style Bee?
Babystyle Oyster?
Chicco for me?
Pliko Switch?

maxybrown · 23/07/2010 22:37

oh flower of scotland..........when will we see.............Come on Dunoon!! I'm on the guinness been mad mad busy doing nonsense!

FlyMeToDunoon · 23/07/2010 22:51

That fought and died for your wee bit hill and glen.
And stood against him,
Proud Edward's army
And sent him homeward
Tae think again.

Those days are gone now and in the past they must remain
But we can still rise now and be a nation again.
And stood against him
Proud Edward's army
And send him homeward
Tae think again.

5in off to advertise for all of the above pushchairs.
Hic!

yay! basl would be so proud Dunoon. I think I was Scottish in a past life

horsemadgal · 23/07/2010 23:53

Goodness thought I just stepped into a Corries thread there.

horsemadgal · 23/07/2010 23:57

Got to be a Bee Dunoon, there are no decent cheap rear facers (IMO!)

xstaceyxcatx · 24/07/2010 00:13

Can anyon help me trying to decide if the Jane Rider Matrix Light Travel System Looks any good...?

Carrycot turns into a car seat so thought would be quite good for me with my method of transportation being taxis quite a lot as it saves the worry of either having to hold baby (hate that idea) and obviously carting a car seat as well as pram about is never a feasable option.

Any replies would be appreciated

horsemadgal · 24/07/2010 00:34

Hi Stacey, it looks fab.
I had Jane Matrix for both my boys and loved them.
I'd go and check it out in real life though as because it now has a reversible seat, the seat unit is really narrow. The old Slalom and Powertrack had huge seats.

xstaceyxcatx · 24/07/2010 00:40

I have been to see it and its the only pram iv fallen in love with. Mum likes the Slalom chassis better but i think it looks rele long in compared to 4 wheelers...Is this just my imagination?

So glad that you've given me a good review. Also love it cause it requires less storage space than a crrycot, car seat and pushchair as i live in a small 2 bed flat with my 6yo ds.

Did the carrycot last you long?

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/07/2010 07:16

Morning!

OP posts:
5inthebed · 24/07/2010 08:10

Morning Dunoon

You're thread title in sales made me giggle last night. Sorry I missed your sing song last night, if I'd known it was karaoke I'd have stayed longer.

I'm off to strip wallpaper all day, should be fun

maxybrown · 24/07/2010 08:16

Morning! Glorious here, washing out, cup of tea to the ready and peace in the Maxybrown household...........for now

FlyMeToDunoon · 24/07/2010 08:17

Have fun 5in. Stripping empowers women apparently
I had read the thread where you and carrielou slagged off gave constructive critisism on the streety hence the title on mine.
Right up and at em.

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2010 08:20

maxybrown · 24/07/2010 08:26

My boys are still in bed, lovely! Got piles of clothes everywhere trying to get organised. Am dreading packing - though maybe not as bad I think!

Nic - wonder when Boden stuff will come, see it's up on main site now

5inthebed · 24/07/2010 08:54

I wanted to go start stripping it all last night but Dh wouldn't let me. So today and tomorrow we are doing it. Just need to wait for him to rise from his pit

nicolamumof3 · 24/07/2010 09:04

i was think just the very same thing last night maxy my cc is maxed out tho

basl · 24/07/2010 09:07

Amazing grace how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost, but now I'm found;
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fear relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares,
We have already come.
'Twas grace that brought us safe thus far,
And grace will lead us home.

When we've been there ten thousand years,
Bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise
Than when we first begun.

Morning ladies!!! What a day we had. Daniels party lasted all day from about 8am and last person left at midnight. Daniel had the time of his little life.
Sorry i missed the sing song Flyme and love your song choice.

5in FANTASTIC news. Maybe we should have a wall striping party!!!!

Maxy i am so worked up after reading about your appointment. Don't know how that must feel when you want to shake them like your mum said and tell them to get on with it. So frustrating for you.
Still you manage to get on with it brave wee lassie just keeping with the Scottish theme.

We are off out today to a sort of flaming land fun fayre type affair and so funny as neither my sisters dh wants to go nor mine but we are insisting for the first time and they are so hating it but why she they always miss out on the fun days out with overtired children oh and i have a lodger again my oldest nephew managed to stay the night .

Hi Basl - calmer in your house now? Sounded lovely. James second birthday was like tumbleweed blowing

I am so so tired. James is still up and I feel like throttling him. he will not shut up and I can't understand a single thing he is trying to say to me - so hard
