Huge apologies if I have missed this thread, I have searched high and low but don't think another was started after number 8 ended in May.

After a seriously stressful encounter with building control, I think we are almost ready to exchange. After going on the market last July, I'm hoping we'll move before our year anniversary!

How is everyone else doing?

@VioletandPurpleFlower great news that’s mega exciting. What came up on the survey?
our chain is now closed and it’s pretty much as Straight forward as it could be which I wasn’t expecting . We are having a second viewing next week and our buyers are coming for a second viewing then we’ll proceed to searches and organise a surveyor

@mrssunshinexxxthe survey showed unregulated garage conversion, removal of fire doors, tiles in a bedroom which were too heavy for floorboards amongst other things. There were other issues but it all helped us decided the other property was a better option.
Feeling excited now but packing early to be organised and it’s overwhelming. I spend more time on TikTok looking for tips than actually doing it 😂

@VioletandPurpleFlower sounds like you’ve made the right decision. I have been declutterikg and charity shop runs it will all make it feel abit easier when it comes to moving week x
