Only two viewings in two months and one booked for this Friday. Estate agent reluctant to reduce price and sister who’s also an estate agent thinks we should give it a few more weeks but we really want to sell soon but also need as much £££ as we can for our next move. Is it the pictures? Price? What do you think? Honest feedback very much appreciated!

Beautifully presented so can’t do more there, which means it’s the price. It’s a lot of money for a terraced house without usable parking and a relatively small garden. Still gorgeous though!

Spendonsend · 13/03/2024 20:55

Its lovely so I can only assume its price.

LutonBeds · 13/03/2024 21:01

It’s lovely but if I was buying a 4 bed I’d want my own parking space/drive. Unless you have and it’s just not clear? I also don’t like the hot tub but would just get rid of that, unless you’d be moving it with you?

twinmumoffour85 · 13/03/2024 21:03

Yes we have a drive with space for two cars. Just noticed it doesn’t actually say that in the listing so thanks for highlighting!

Gorgeous house.

But for that price and with four bedrooms, I wouldn’t want a terrace and I would want a bigger garden, driveway.

Wolfpa · 13/03/2024 21:06

it’s the price, there are bigger 4 bedroom properties on the market near you for 100k less then what you are asking.

notgettinganyyounger · 13/03/2024 21:07

Great property. Must be the price.

PSEnny · 13/03/2024 21:10

It’s too expensive. The catchment for schools isn’t great there so families will be put off. You’re asking too much for it. 400K would be more realistic but even then limited buyers due to poor school choices at secondary.

Blackcats7 · 13/03/2024 21:11

All lovely except the small loo but maybe that’s just me. I never like those tiles, always remind me of an underground ladies conveniences in my local town centre.
Must be a price/market issue.

twinmumoffour85 · 13/03/2024 21:11

I get what you’re saying. I think we maybe need to put room sizes and full square footage on the floorplan as it’s a deceptively big house and that isn’t clear. I’ve also noticed there’s no pictures of the driveway and downstairs loo isn’t on the floorplan either!

Lack of a decent garden would put me off. Lovely house though but for that price I would want to be detached.

Differentfromtherest · 13/03/2024 21:13

Beautiful house, but I would want more garden for that price, plus I am not keen on the back garden being paved over. I prefer a garden to have shrubs and greenery.

SilverFishcake · 13/03/2024 21:13

It’s a lovely house, you couldn’t present it any better. I don’t know the area but seems really expensive I mean it’s a still a terrace however nice it seems.

Absolutely this. The room sizes look big when you look at them which is good, but it’s a lot of house to be a terrace

StylishM · 13/03/2024 21:15

Another chiming in saying I wouldn't pay that for a terrace. The inside is stunning but not £100K on the local comparables

FatFilledTrottyPuss · 13/03/2024 21:17

It’s a beautiful house but I wouldn’t pay that for a house with seemingly no garden. A cottage garden is mentioned in the details but there’s no decent picture of it. A family house needs a family sized garden.

Needapadlockonmyfridge · 13/03/2024 21:17

Lovely house snd really well presented.

I can only assume it is price - I don't know the area.
Personally, I prefer room sizes on the plan. They are decent sizes so worth doing that.

Good luck :)

LipstickLil · 13/03/2024 21:18

The interior of the house is lovely - it's clean, tidy, well-presented and move-in ready. The outside area would put me off though as for a family home there is nowhere for DC to play and it's all very public. To be really blunt, if I was spending half a million quid in Morpeth I'd want a detached house with a decent, private garden.

NannyPay · 13/03/2024 21:18

It looks like you bought it 2 years ago for 75k less than you're listing it for. I really don't think you'll see that kind of uplift in this market. Sorry OP but from looking at comparable properties in that range I'd say you'll be lucky to shift it for what you bought it for. If secondary options aren't great that will put off a lot of buyers of a 4 bed.

PurplePansy05 · 13/03/2024 21:20

Beautiful home. Must be the price OP, it's a lot for a terrace.

If I were really picky, I'd say add some plants for photos. But that's really picky!

user8800 · 13/03/2024 21:21

It's beautiful op
But it's a terraced house
It's the price

TheYearOfSmallThings · 13/03/2024 21:24

Beautiful house and beautifully presented. It's a lot of money for a terrace though.

NannyPay · 13/03/2024 21:24

You're going to be competing with houses like this for the attention of families.

Elphame · 13/03/2024 21:25

Those metro tiles would put me off at the brochure stage and for that sort of money I would want a proper garden and a lot more privacy.

twinmumoffour85 · 13/03/2024 21:25

Really appreciate all of your feedback! Will see how this viewing goes but definitely think we need to reduce the price and adjust the floorplan. Will also add better photos of the front and back gardens/driveway. Good to know the inside is ok though 😊
