Wow - grade 1 listed and can you imagine heating it? Plus if I was there alone at night I'd freak myself out!
Would make a great hotel though!

I love it. But I couldn’t live in it. Far too big and impractical.

I don’t think I’ve ever looked at a house and thought “that’s too big” (including Blenheim, Chatsworth, Versailles).. 😂

Whoever the artist is, he certainly likes painting nude or topless women, I wonder if she lives there as well. We stayed in a holiday farmhouse which belonged to a retired painter, there were nudes on every wall. We took them down and put them in a cupboard, where we found some more quite explicit paintings.

Just amazing. Imagine making a cup of tea on a summer morning, and wandering round that garden in a cotton dressing gown before everyone else has woken up, couple of dogs following you. Bliss. I want it.

There's a bathrom picture 25 that's oddly empty, a fancy rug, (don't need that in a bathroom), a small bath and a loo in the corner.
The ceilings are quite low and with all the dark panelling it's really oppressive. Love the outside though.

Too dark for me

I love the first house but Grade I listing is too much for me. Plus I hate swimming pools.

No one has ever lived in it. As far as I know.

Looks geared to an overseas market. Only completed a year ago.

The modern one is nasty. And I just think about muddy shoes on those floors. Keeping those shiny would be a full time job

I love the other one though. Needs some decoration and my children would not appreciate the huge gardens to roam in. They'd probably just moan the WiFi connection was glitchy
