Interesting what people find looks cold and unwelcoming. I think all the colours and the wood are so cosy and comfortable looking. White walls and white cabinets are what looks cold and uninviting to me, this house is the opposite of that.

I really don’t like it. The decor is not to my taste at all. I also always think if I won the lottery I wouldn’t buy a massive house like this, I just don’t think I’d feel at home with all that space. Yes I’d move house but probably to somewhere that’s a bit more modest than that, maybe a four/five bed detached with some land for animals.

Love it with a few reservations in the unlikely event I could afford it. The swimming pool is not appropriate to the property; the kitchen is soulless and the twin sinks in whatever bathroom that is are not my scene.

I love that house (the first one, not the second one). I'm not wild about the red/orange colour but hey, we've had to redecorate every house we've moved to anyway. That one would just take me a wee bit longer! I like the blue room though, it's not a colour I have in my house but it really works there, it's so Wedgewood-y.

When I move there, I'll buy a couple of Irish wolfhounds, they'd be perfect there.

The grounds are stunning. I think the house is beautiful - I don't really know the area but if I'd had to guess the asking price I would've said a lot more than 2.75. That said though I wouldn't like to have to furnish it, heat it or clean it 😄

You'd really need a housekeeper and a groundsperson to organise all the cleaning and maintenance on the house and grounds so you can just enjoy being Lady of the Manor!

He was the previous owner who bought it from John Harvey-Jones. The current owner is a well-known artist.
