2 dishwashers?!

We’re re-doing our kitchen and a few people have mentioned to us recently about 2 dishwashers being game changers and we have the room - is it ridiculous or genius?!

The fast eco cycle on my Fisher & Paykel dishwasher (for crockery rather than dirty pots) takes just 42 minutes. This allows me to arse around on Mumsnet for a bit while I wait for it before bedtime.

I have 2 and 2 washing machines and 2 ovens.

There were 5 of us.

From experience I would recommend

2 washing machines over the others followed by 2 dishwashers then 2 ovens.

Both washing machines are used a lot

One of the dishwashers is rarely used.

One of the ovens is used mainly for storage and I alternate them every six months or so.

Yes! I wanted to do this in my kitchen. What's the point of putting things in a cupboard. Might as well be a dishwasher.
