I'd rotate it 180 degrees.

Haleso · 12/05/2023 06:28

I’d love an additional downstairs room.

Merrow · 12/05/2023 06:30

Downstairs extension like the one a few doors down. It technically wouldn't add that many square meters, so the cost to do it makes it unjustifiable, but the layout and access to the garden just works better than what we have!

Just the neighbours. Honestly I wish our neighbour problems were as simple as noise like above

Ditto.

Popetthetreehugger · 12/05/2023 06:39

We live in a dip , 9 steps down , so bring us up . Also not have a foot path running along the bottom of our garden.

PosiePerkinPootleFlump · 12/05/2023 06:41

I'd add a utility room

Zoraflora · 12/05/2023 06:41

Utlity room and I would like to be detached as I worry my kids disturb my lovely next door neighbour.

sandgrown · 12/05/2023 06:42

A new kitchen and walk in pantry. A visit from Garden Rescue!

TheEverdelightfulsamantha · 12/05/2023 07:06

I’d like my kitchen to be big enough to have a seating area with sofas as well as a dining area and views of the sea

manontroppo · 12/05/2023 07:28

A porch.

Weallgottachangesometime · 12/05/2023 07:29

To knock the kitchen and dining room together.

TheWayTheLightFalls · 12/05/2023 07:33

For the sodding renovation to be over.

TeenDivided · 12/05/2023 07:34

make it cleaner.
and the 'unwanted stuff' fairy would zoom through it too.

Otherwise we are really lucky with our house and I am very content here.

Yirk · 12/05/2023 07:34

Another bathroom.

marmiteloversunite · 12/05/2023 07:36

Extra parking

ChippyPrincess · 12/05/2023 07:37

A downstairs loo (ideally with a shower).

Or if not, £12k worth of lovely sash windows at the front.

BungalowBuyer · 12/05/2023 07:39

Turn it into a bungalow and replace the windows.

TheGriffle · 12/05/2023 07:43

I’d love a side extension so DD’s box room could be made bigger.

Emotionaleating · 12/05/2023 07:44

Kitchen. It’s very dated and not a pleasure to cook in, which is a shame as I love to cook.

RuthTopp · 12/05/2023 07:44

Dh is doing the renovation ( he convinced me it wouldn't take long ) we've lived here 11 years and still not finished.

Dartsplayer · 12/05/2023 07:46

Downstairs layout. We've been here 10 years and whilst it worked when the children were smaller, it doesn't work for us now

33goingon64 · 12/05/2023 07:49

Is it cheating to say the garden? Would like it redesigned to look like something from Gardeners World rather than a muddy football pitch.

QueSyrahSyrah · 12/05/2023 07:51

Double the size of it (it's a small one-bedroom flat).

That'd do me. 2 bedrooms and a bit of space to entertain. A balcony would be the cherry on the cake.

mastertomsmum · 12/05/2023 08:05

For next door on both sides to chop down bamboo and sycamore respectively.

It would also be helpful if the numbering made sense in our street. Mid 70s evens are opposite mid 50s odds. Nearly everyone has a sat nav that shows us much further along the road. It’s a one way street, so coming back up involves some effort. On the plus side the traffic restrictions and snuggled in nature of our house mean it’s really quiet for an urban area.

AssertiveGertrude · 12/05/2023 08:07

Would like the garden to be seeded and landscaped - we cannot afford to do it at the moment and it’s just rubble (but I have nice pots of plants) 😆
