This flooring is my new ick

it’s this kind of decor that gives grey a bad reputation…

I love grey and have lots of it in my house but you would probably not even notice unless I pointed it out.

The flooring, in fact that entire interior looks utterly ridiculous for a modest 4 bed Victorian terrace in a scruffy bit of zone 4 London.

It looks like a Bond villain lives there.

The occasional greys and other muted colours are actually a welcome relief from the acres of eye-searing white which might as well be the backdrop of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance music video.

I hate marble flooring and I'm not too keen on worktops or wall tiles with it either but, each to their own.

Imagine if you were to drop a glass! Smithereens!

I don't like any of it.

Not the fridge-like interior decor, or the 70s wood panelling in the cabin.

But most of all, I really don't like the fact that the tablecloth hasn't been put on symmetrically and one of the bedspreads has a corner all tucked up in itself 😂

Horrible house. Completely unrelated but I used to work not far from Elmers End Road when I still lived in Beckenham. Happy memories 😊

It’s a developer job this one, no? There are untold examples of this particular stylistic hideousness around this part of London and I’d put money on it being the same developer laying waste to good taste one property at a time.

Total developer job. No soul, everything will be cheap, and the kitchen at the front irritates me.
