£5m seems rather expensive and some of the decor is ok but overall it isn’t at all to my taste.

it's very by numbers interior design eg pink bathroom, dark living room with green sofa, blue kitchen. Expected more individuality & originality tbh.

If I had 5 million I wouldn’t spend it on that house. Decor not really my taste, but I will take the piano, Beatles drum and dressing room please!

I prefer the period ones linked to here myself but I don't understand the overly catty comments on here. The only criticism I'd have is that there is no snug type of sitting room to sit in to make it cosy at night to sit and watch a film etc, it's too open plan, more like a hotel lounge type of thing.

Isn’t she close friends with Kelly Hoppen? I’d be surprised if she didn’t have some input into the house design. The astronaut picture is by Andrew Martin, she’s probably paid about £2k for that. Some of the other stuff is probably by him too. The Connor Brothers painting behind the sofa probably cost about £30k.

Aside from the mirrored bathroom I think that's genuinely lovely. It's rare to see a celebrity home that actually looks well... homely.

Just shows that being a celebrity and having lots of money is no guarantee of taste it is hidiously overblown.

I think the beauty of these threads is exactly that some people love a house and some don't. Which is just as well or we'd all be going for the same house.

I'm not a fan of open plan downstairs unless it is done carefully.
In this house if one child is having a piano lesson, or worse doing scales. Then there is nowhere to escape to!
It isn't a house I would choose to live in if I had 5 million.
But if I was offered it I can move in right now

I love it and overall I think it’s beautifully decorated. It’s a nice big house but really not enormous for £5m even in the area.

Well it’s not bland! There are bits of it I really like, and I love the layout, but I think altogether it would make my head hurt.

Um that’s two million pounds more, so hardly competition,,,it’s like someone posting their home for sale at 500 k and you posting one on for 750k and saying but this is so much better, eh yeah that’s why it’s so much more expensive..
