@DreamTheMoors

Imagine the smell.
That was my first thought!

It must smell of chlorine and Chinese food from the takeaway next door.

springtimeishereagain · 30/03/2022 08:59

How did they get planning permission for that??

I saw the dehumidifier in a bedroom... bet the place is damp as a bog and smells of chlorine. Madness.

And why two kitchens? Is the second one made for a hobbit? The ceiling looks so low...

justlonelystars · 30/03/2022 09:05

Obviously used for sex parties (I say this from my experience of sex parties being limited to what I saw on Belle du Jour 😂) there’s a viewing gallery for the pool and sky light down from the living room so you can watch people. Kitchen is new so presumably it was a sex area before

Cherryflavouranything · 30/03/2022 09:14

@DoobryWhatsit that’s supposed to be a birth (you remembering being born) dream - the bit where you get stuck especially. I have them all the time :)

Gonnagetgoing · 30/03/2022 09:18

Is the pool a plunge pool rather than a proper one?

Gonnagetgoing · 30/03/2022 09:20

I don't know Archway that well but good friend of SIL used to live there when she was training to be a lawyer with her DD, we went there a few times and stayed overnight.

I was there a couple of weeks ago as my boyfriend lives quite near there and I had to drive past Archway. It was still as grim as I remembered it.

marihen1 · 30/03/2022 09:21

There are many questions id love to ask the owners but.. why are they using the cooker extractor fan as a table?

TroysMammy · 30/03/2022 09:24

The hob is too near the fridge, where would your saucepan handles go?

TheYearOfSmallThings · 30/03/2022 09:27

I don't understand it at all! If it was a small brothel they massively overinvested in the pool etc.

Iamthewombat · 30/03/2022 09:29

@custardbear

Kermit the frog has hit hard times! What's with photo 11... a distraction maybe?!
HAHAHAHA This has made my morning!
Nanny0gg · 30/03/2022 09:31

I reckon you'd get pregnant just sitting on one of those chairs

Grin
TheAbbotOfUnreason · 30/03/2022 09:33

@DrSophia

Caprice used it in an episode of CDWM apparently. Plus I read that the LL/owner has a number of other properties locally with similar levels of weirdness.
Was intrigued enough to check this out - I can confirm that Caprice’s house with basement pool was not this gay sauna monstrosity.
Strawberry33 · 30/03/2022 09:37

That’s actually amazingly cheap for a two bed flat there. I actually quite like it but obviously I’d improve it I don’t like their belongings or furniture

I must have lived a sheltered life. I dont see the connection between the pool and a brothelConfused

I thought they must have just liked swimming

McGintyii · 30/03/2022 09:44

How can you have an 'immaculate high ceiling' Grin

HalloHello · 30/03/2022 09:48

I don't think it's rented out. There's too many personal belongings, all the clothes on the rail, and there's a load of prescription medications on the table in the 'walk in wardrobe'.

Possibly the most bizarre flat I've ever seen! Thanks to the person who said to watch the tour, definitely gives your a better idea of it! Although still none the wiser to it's usage!!

That’s probably the only surface not splattered

It's to add glamour to the immaculate conceptions off the chairs

No me neither, I suspect this is just been used as a gym/pool/sauna and the rest has been left to Rot.
shssandhr · 30/03/2022 09:49

It’s the only part of the flat not splattered with bodily fluids?

Me too then I started to notice things when I was reading the thread. What’s above the pool - a skylight or the floor from above?
