Just a perfectly ordinary flat. Nothing to see here.

Glad it wasn’t just me who thought brothel or porn film location!

RonSwansonsChair · 29/03/2022 22:49

I can't figure out where the 2nd kitchen is, or indeed why there is one???Confused

AntiHop · 29/03/2022 22:51

This is the strangest thing I've seen in a long time.

ClafoutisSurprise · 29/03/2022 22:51

This is the kind of thing I dream of. Not in the ‘I wish I had a place like that’ sense, but literally, in one of those weird dreams where you have a whole wing of your house that doesn’t exist in reality. It’s a very regular dream for me, and always involves ugly furniture left by a previous owner in a weird, musty part of the house that I’d forgotten I had.

I can just imagine dream me walking around the pool area thinking ‘oh, yeah, I should get round to doing something with this’. And then waking up and being gutted that I don’t have an overlooked floor of my house with a pool to make over.

DreamTheMoors · 29/03/2022 22:53

Imagine the smell.

Fernandina · 29/03/2022 22:55

Perhaps the basement was just really damp and they decided to roll with it...

viques · 29/03/2022 22:55

I could understand it if you had made everything else in your flat absolutely perfect and had a pool sized space and a sudden brainwave, but , let’s be honest the rest of the flat is nothing to write home about. So now the whole flat will stink of chlorine, and apart from draining it and turning it into a skateboard area you are stuck with a pool!

rosiebl · 29/03/2022 22:57

Those minging chairs are definitely where the 'clients' sit waiting their turn. That living room with view of the pool. Oh so grim.
Someone must live close to this to go do a viewing for us and report back?
Where is the chic kitchen? Why is there 2 kitchens? What does it smell like? Is it damp? Who owns it? So many questions.

SouperNoodle · 29/03/2022 22:57

Imagine the place under UV light 🤢 the horrors you'd see

The bottle of baby oil by the bath and the sudocrem (for sore bottoms) 😂

Summerfun54321 · 29/03/2022 23:05

The fact that this is on for sale for £850k shows how insane the world is right now.

LardyDee · 29/03/2022 23:07

That's pretty much unsellable as a home until someone takes the pool out! And it's too far from the centre and a tube station to be a high-yield knocking shop (errrrr, I would imagine).

NancyDrooo · 29/03/2022 23:07

@ClafoutisSurprise I have dreams like that! I knock through a wall or find a hidden door, and marvel at all my new found living space.

Anyway, I spent far too long cross examining the photos and floor plans of this flat, and can concur you’d probably get pregnant if you swam in that pool.

Drinkyourweaklemondrink · 29/03/2022 23:07

Im so confused!

TheAbbotOfUnreason · 29/03/2022 23:07

And that it’s been reduced to £850k makes it even worse.

I know Archway is trendy, but FMD what a dump.

Wineat5isfine · 29/03/2022 23:08

Bow chicka bow wow…..#ifthosewallscouldtalk 🤮

Spaghag · 29/03/2022 23:08

My mind also jumped straight to "business" premises. Nobody would put up with that living space upstairs & then install a pool, gym & sauna in the basement. Makes no sense.

Summersdreaming · 29/03/2022 23:09

Wow 🤣 I love a rightmove thread and this one is up there. Good work OP 👏

Lollipop858 · 29/03/2022 23:11

I live nearby I’m tempted to go and check it out 😂
