Isn’t that an anal douche bulb in the shower? Why would you not move that!? 😬😳

Did anyone ever go to the Sanctuary in Covent Garden? It’s like a very shit version of that Grin.

It’s only 10 mins drive from where I live, I will look out for it next time I drive past.

There is a glass portion in the floor of the 'nice' sitting room where you can see down into the pool.

Oh yes, the swing*, the goldfish, the worst part was stepping back out into the real world and breathing in the grubby shared air!

*which I was not athletic enough to climb onto, ruins the fantasy a bit when you need a leg up……. “ Oi, you, missus, Joan , Jean , whatever your name is, give us a boost darling.”

@HaveringWavering and @viques, yes I went to the Sanctuary a few times. The sister of my best friend’s boyfriend had a membership there and was constantly going as was an ex colleague of mine, no idea why it closed down!

I recall my colleague (who I couldn’t stand) going on about the restaurant, her lunch and the goldfish.

The hob is too near the fridge, where would your saucepan handles go?

A few years ago I went with a friend (she sold it to me as a spa day) to a place sort of similar to this in vibe in Brighton.

Shock did she expect you to join in gonnagetgoing?

Space is used cleverly in the kitchen, so every square foot is maximised, with some wall space used for hanging utensils

From the DM write up. Snort.

Lol.

There's a company called London Staircase Company registered at the address. The director looks unremarkable but an associated business has a director who currently has eight businesses and has resigned from 77 more - accountancy, consulting, media, food and many more 👀👀👀

@SisterMichael - I don’t know really! I think she did expect me to join in, god knows why! All I recall is getting there by car and saying “this isn’t a proper spa”, then told by the owner/person showing us round to get naked (not my preferred look!) and I think she thought I’d get off with a man but I didn’t! I just had a massage, used the spa facilities, tried to keep well away from the other patrons and she went off and found a man who then took us for a curry in Brighton.

It ended our friendship not long afterwards put it that way.

I don’t blame you! Bloody hell. I think I’ll have a little snigger every time someone suggests a spa day on MN now though Grin

Not enough space in the kitchen to fry the sosig. 0/10.

That's definitely a male only household, and someone who's obsessed with weights and exercise. And how many toiletries?! Have they never heard of storage boxes? The kitchen is so cluttered there's stuff just thrown in the sink. The furniture is rank. You can see mould on all the walls if you look closely. And what's with the second kitchen? Grim, yet fascinating. My money's on some kind of gay bathhouse. Hope the estate agent burnt their clothes when they'd done.

The mystery of the second kitchen could be solved if the owners are Chinese. We have Chinese friends with two kitchens in their home: one is used exclusively for fried food. The bidet shower seen in the loo pic is common across Asia as an alternative to using paper. Not least there's a Chinese takeaway downstairs - I'm guessing the same people own it too.

The take away is next door, not downstairs. The flat is a basement, there's nothing downstairs. Well, nothing you want to know about anyway!
