We've filled up the old one! (maybe someone on a mobile device could add a post with this link though?)

We're also waiting for feedback - apparently the EA's are waiting for call backs from the people who have viewed on Saturday and today. I'm so impatient!

PartyintheKitchen · 20/03/2017 15:46

Wow - 10 viewings, that's really impressive. Fingers crossed! I'm going to give my EA a couple of days to do post viewing chase work. I know there were viewings on Sat but not sure how many (we're not in London where our house is, not even in the UK).

Paw - wow, epic levels of stress for you, I have no idea how you're handling it.

I've started viewing houses here (France) where we relocated to, it's all a bit premature without an offer in hand but I've been told by many people to get out there and view as much as possible to understand the local stock/pricing etc. Hoping we won't fall in love with somewhere!

startingblocks · 20/03/2017 15:57

I know, the waiting is so annoying!
Hope you hear something soon Schnitzel
I just called EA (like trying to get blood out of a stone) and they said that the feedback at the time seemed generally positive but only one person called in this morning to say that they really liked the house and that they would definitely be making an offer this afternoon. So that does sound promising but I've decided not to get my hopes up about this as it could well be a red herring.

Everyone else they have left messages with.

briteside · 20/03/2017 17:52

Hi there, we finally got the feedback from the EA. From 3 viewings - 1 found another property yesterday, 1 was surprised we had not extended into the loft and wanted specifically to know why (As well as whether we would apply for planning permission for the work if they wanted). I thought it was a little odd!?

The last person really liked it and wants to bring his wife to see it. Watch this space...

In the meantime - we have another viewing tomorrow midday and another lined up for Saturday.

For the viewing tomorrow, it will be in the middle of a conference call (I work from home) so I am planning to sit in my car, parked on the road outside while they do the viewing. Hope I won't look like a stalker Shock

Any news on the offer starting ?

startingblocks · 20/03/2017 20:21

That sounds promising briteside fingers crossed for the second viewing and the others in the week.
Grin to sitting in the car outside.

No news at all this afternoon about the mystery offer. Starting to get somewhat annoyed with the lack of communication with the EA. I'm probably being unreasonable but can't help it!

Beckyb1 · 21/03/2017 06:32

We saw our dream house yesterday. Don't feel we can do anything tho as it's got 12 viewings today and I'm sure it will be snapped up. Really depressed about it all unless the viewers from yesterday make an offer on here I can see it just slipping thro our fingers. Devastated

Blackfellpony · 21/03/2017 07:06

Becky this keeps happening to us- we've lost the dream one already (to friends Angry) but we've seen other houses that would fit but I don't even bother viewing now.

We've had 5 viewings in 2 weeks and no feedback, there's got to be something wrong hasn't there? Sad

AndersArms · 21/03/2017 07:08

Got our first viewing today so fx. We have a couple more on Saturday so have lined up a few viewings of our own. Trying not to get ahead of ourselves though - I'm not sure I would accept an offer from someone with something to sell unless they had SSTC so I don't think we will be in a position to make an offer even if we find the one - 2 of the viewings are so promising though!!!

Beckyb1 · 21/03/2017 07:47

This will be the third time for us blackfell. I suppose we shouldn't look but it's hard when you've three viewings at your house in a week it gets your hopes up a bit. It's just so gutting. I was up all night just thinking I'm gunna be stuck in this horrible house and it dragging me down now!!

Beckyb1 · 21/03/2017 09:04

And I can't believe you lost it to friends blackfell!! Did they know??

Blackfellpony · 21/03/2017 09:53

Me too Becky. Our house is so tiny. We are crammed in with a baby, two huge German shepherds and two cats. We have no space at all and no real garden as it's too small so has been trashed by dogs so summer will be awful with a toddler that can't play outside properly Sad

We live in a really small village, hardly anything comes up for sale so they jumped at it when they saw it as did we. It has been annoying as she is posting can't wait to move in on Facebook etc and I'm sat like this Angry

DH just laughs at me though Grin

drspouse · 21/03/2017 10:12

Would you move to another village and unfriend her so you don't have to see her posts?

OP posts:
Beckyb1 · 21/03/2017 10:13

Oh no! Sad did she know you went to look at it?! I take it you don't like any of her statuses?! 😂

Blackfellpony · 21/03/2017 10:24

We saw them at the second viewing.

They than ran home, put theirs on the market, sold within a week and stole it Hmm

Never mind there will be others if I ever get rid of this one!

Beckyb1 · 21/03/2017 10:37

How have you not wanted to scream at them?! 😂 you are a lot nicer than I am, I wouldn't be seeing their statuses as they would be deleted! Haha.

SchnitzelvonKrummsverylowtum · 21/03/2017 10:49

We've also just lost our dream house - we had an offer accepted we were just trying to sell ours but they've just accepted a higher offer from someone who's already sold their house. Absolutely devastated, and now debating whether to just stay put for now

Blackfellpony · 21/03/2017 10:54

I did have a cry but I'm just hopeful something else will come up. The house was going to stretch us to the max budget wise so perhaps it will be a wise move to not have bought it in the end.

I'm debating ringing EA and asking why no feedback again but they usually just say the same thing every time- can't get in touch!

drspouse · 21/03/2017 11:07

I feel like giving them a bit of parenting advice when the EAs have no shows/no feedback. You don't get to see any more properties till you give me what I asked for!

OP posts:
chalkyc2 · 21/03/2017 11:27

We have seen too many houses come and go in the time we've been on the market. Too depressing, especially as there's nothing on at the moment I'm excited by 😢

Notanotherpawpatrol · 21/03/2017 12:16

It's just all so frustrating.
The very first people that saw our house and loved it have sold stc yesterday!! They phoned up this morning and asked for a 2nd viewing this afternoon. I'm hoping against all hope they make a decent offer, then we can offer on our amazing house. I'm on edge waiting now Brew anyone?

Beckyb1 · 21/03/2017 12:19

Got my fingers xd for you notanother! And if you get good news please send some luck to all of us here that are depressed! 😂

SeaLionsOnMyShirt · 21/03/2017 12:52

Fingers crossed for you NotAnother!!

We've finally got several viewings booked in for today, and it's a lovely sunny day here which will show off the (pretty nice) view well, thank goodness.

Beckyb1 · 21/03/2017 13:07

Good news sealions got fingers xd for you too!!!

drspouse · 21/03/2017 15:20

Sunny here too, we have lovely views from one side of the house but I bet it's dull on Thursday when our next viewing is!

OP posts:
Blackfellpony · 21/03/2017 16:55

We've got a last moment viewing at 5:30.

I wonder if they will notice if I hide the dogs in the car boot Blush
