The person who bought it for you should be able to re-send the code if it hasn't been used. I think.

Also struggling to see how you can lose it, given that it's not physical, it's an email. If you've deleted the email then Amazon can re-send it to the purchaser. But a gift voucher can only be used once.

Perhaps you need to repost and find someone who has a moral objection to using amazon themselves, and then offer them something in return.

The codes are unique but you should be able to recover a lost one by contacting amazon.
