Mine was 'Paggirl has a mischieveious and frankly bizarre sense of humour'.
Also 'Paggirl is always smiling'. Finally 'sometimes her mind is clearly upon other things'

All true

i always want to to write

" your kid is my favourite"

wigglybeezer · 09/07/2010 17:57

"Wigglyjunior has the great ability to share his extensive knowledge with others" ie. at six he thinks he knows everything! Luckily his report also says that he has a great sense of humour too,

Fabster · 09/07/2010 17:58

DS1, -"Ds1 is a keen scientist" - his teacher.
DD "A lovely report for a lovely child" - the head .
DS2 - ds2 is a lovely child.

duckyfuzz · 09/07/2010 17:59

'dt1 has a big personality and likes to share it with the class' so true!

ShrinkingViolet · 09/07/2010 18:01

DD2 in Maths "she grasps new methods and concepts with relative ease and often shares her differing methods with the rest of the class" - does this translate as "tell her to sht up and stop confusing the others?" or "I'm the teacher, not you, please let me get on with my job".
Am not exactly sure, but it certainly sums up DD2.....

From DS 1's report last year but a classic.

DS1 needs to learn to perform all roles in PE, such as coach and official, rather than just performing.

Has him down to a tee!

fridayschild · 09/07/2010 18:30

We have another 2 weeks to go as well but Ds1's reception report is an all time classic - summer baby and tallest child in the class - "Fridaysboy does not always know what he is doing with his arms"

and DS2's report was "Fridaysbaby has a very questioning approach which is helpful in SOME learning situations".

rainbowfizz · 09/07/2010 18:36

"joins in readily at discussion times"

can't think who he gets that off!

iamfabregasted · 09/07/2010 18:37

DD2 - she is a very happy child who is a pleasure to teach.

We moved her schools because she was being bullied and it just shows how much she has blossomed.

DarrellRivers · 09/07/2010 18:39

DD1 has a powerful (and fortunately in tune) singing voice

Caoimhe · 09/07/2010 18:43

"X made me laugh every day".

teamcullenIsaGleek · 09/07/2010 19:21

DS1 - is a pleasure to teach - so polite, helpful, hard working and motivated. from his teacher.

Headteacher said- I am delighted with your fantastic SATs results because I know how hard you had to work to achieve them. (it made me cry, he could hardly write a sentence 12 months ago)

DS2 - enjoyed learning about the Tudors, especially Henry VIII's lifestlye and his brutal and gruesome dicisions. Boys!

teamcullenIsaGleek · 09/07/2010 19:23

decisions

DreamTeamGirl · 09/07/2010 20:02

DT Boy is a 'pleasure to teach ... always has something interesting to share ... What great conversations you can have with him -in fact I do have to remind him to stop and be quiet he gets so engrossed ' from his teacher- all fab and very him

from head 'he loves to show me his pictures and tell me about them in GREAT detail' ... oh yes. Me too. Dull isnt it? LMAO

pagwatch · 09/07/2010 20:26

ROFL at Fridaysboys arms

Love these !

jollyma · 09/07/2010 20:28

DS1 'demonstrates a reasonable level of skill in games and a growing awareness of tactics, although is not always the most enthusiastic participant'.

I think this translates to 'is obsessed with bossing others around and is too busy noticing where others go wrong to get stuck in and try it himself'.

RollaCoasta · 09/07/2010 20:44

Have done some report checking this year (more fool me!):

'xx fluctuates between brilliance and madness' (disallowed!!)

'All sorts of stimuli, such as movement, light and sound, distract him....'

ronshar · 09/07/2010 20:45

DD1, At times she is a little too chatty but she knows this Thats right she talks too much!
"She showed little knowledge of the solar system"
Isnt that why she goes to school? To learn things

DD2 "Most of the time she knows the difference between right and wrong"
"There have been times when dd2 cheekiness has overstepped the mark"

Sounds about right really.

iloveasylumseekers · 09/07/2010 20:50

"DS1 has an inquisitive nature and enjoys exploring the school grounds for ancient brickwork and evidence of past civilisations."

Suitably random but unsurprising (me scientist; DH historian)

lalalonglegs · 09/07/2010 21:32

Nursery school report for our youngest: Toddler Long Legs is very assertive. She has yet to show any interest in her peers {blush}
