Mine was 'Paggirl has a mischieveious and frankly bizarre sense of humour'.
Also 'Paggirl is always smiling'. Finally 'sometimes her mind is clearly upon other things'

All true

My favourite was where the teacher complimented me.

"Minipixels homework is always on time, thank you for your support".

Made me feel all warm inside.

YunoYurbubson · 11/07/2010 19:41

Dh and I chuckled at "Dd [aged 4] is an enthusiastic participant at circle time and likes to tell us everything about what she has been doing outside of nursery."

Oh God what has she been telling them...?

GreatGooglyMoogly · 11/07/2010 19:51

"When speaking in front of a group DS1 uses a loud voice and is learning to plan what he is going to say" - correct, he is a complete chatterbox and talks nonsense .

GreatGooglyMoogly · 11/07/2010 19:56

And he has no volume control .

babywrangler · 11/07/2010 20:01

Juniorwrangler (9) 'has participated in Country Dancing, where he was beginning to keep to the same rhythm as the rest of the group.'...

Easywriter · 14/07/2010 13:18

Bump!

Apparently our reports are to be given out this afternoon, so I'm bumping in the hope of either somthing for me to be proud of or something to make you wet yourself with laughter!

Runoutofideas · 14/07/2010 13:30

"DD1 is a very well motivated learner with a mature attitude to her work" - she's only 5! Also "DD1 is a quiet, friendly girl who has grown in confidence during the year" - was particularly proud of this seeing as she hardly spoke for the first term!

"ds (4)particularly enjoyed our topic on mini - beasts"

Oh yes he is forever digging up the garden looking for them. in fact slightly obsessed would be a better way of describing him.

lilmissmummy · 14/07/2010 13:59

Some of these made me cry laughing!

"At times "lilmaster(9)" can find it difficult to manage distractions around him"
Nosey and living in a dream world!

" "misslilmiss" (5) is a sociable child... she is happy to talk about her news and other things of interest"
Doesnt shut up!

Although DDs report remind me of mine which at age 14 said, "lilmiss treats school as a social occasion, if she talked less and listened more she might learn something!"

Like mother like daughter!

taffetacatski · 14/07/2010 14:21

"DS (6) has a lot of confidence in his own ability and always offers well thought out ideas and opinions"

"DD (3) plays with two cubes. Carer says how many have you got, DD shows carer two fingers"

theITgirl · 14/07/2010 15:02

DS's (yr 4) was very good but this is the best line.
His progression is clearly relative to his level of interest within the subject matter.
also the one I am very proud of:
His enthusiasm with regards to the humanities subjects is exceptional.

but please may I boast about DD's (yr 1) on here as I cannot with my friends:
DD is a delightful member of the class. She shows interest and enthusiasm in learning and enjoys acquiring new knowledge. DD has an excellent working attitude; she is self-motivated and uses her initiative. She is willing and able to learn from her mistakes. DD has lots of ideas which she shares and she is always willing to "have a go". DD works well in a group and on her own and she actively initiates and maintains peer and adult relationships. DD is reliable, responsible and caring. She values others and has matured in her ability to respect their views and opinions. It has been a pleasure to teach DD this year and I wish her every happiness in year2.

ageing5yearseachyear · 14/07/2010 15:14

what makes me laugh is as they get older they get to write their own bit on the report. I never knew what dd2 would say. At the end of year 4 (before middle school) she wrote "my mum wanted me to go to xxx middle school. i didnt get in, i am so glad because i get to stay with my friends and go to yyy middle school- my mum was upset"

what actually happened- dd2 always going to follow sister to yyy middle school- dd2 begged me to be allowed to go to xxx middle school because best friend was applying. I refused, refused to go and look and told her that if she did apply neither she or friend would get in- this turned out to be case- hence going to yy school with friends.

the teacher told me that they were concerned about the stress i had put her under choosing schools.

Highlander · 14/07/2010 16:30

"Highlander's DS loves to share his knowledge of the world with his peers, in extensive detail"

LOL, he can witter on about Star Wars for HOURS

dorie · 14/07/2010 19:17

DS is very talented and I am sure we will see him on the stage one one - I hope he remembers where to find his "props".

DS need to learn quickly that bursting into song in the middle of group learning is not appropriate.

He is a popular member of the class and fun to be around. DS is a natural entertainer, however needs to learn that schoolwork, on occasion, needs his undivided attention.

On the whole DS is a pleasure to teach and I look forward to teaching him again next term.

Smithagain · 14/07/2010 20:25

In geography, DD1 "successfully identified the route from home to school on a map"

I am hoping this wasn't her biggest achievement during the whole of Year 3, since our house backs onto the school, to the extent that she can practically fall out of bed into the school playground

JulesJules · 15/07/2010 14:17

DD2 (5yo) got her report this week. We have been reading between the lines of the following:

"She always has something interesting to share"

"She has a mature view of how school runs"

tapdancer · 15/07/2010 17:35

My autistic son attends a special school. He is Y5, the last sentence on RE reads 'His sense of justice evoked quite strong opinions in discussions about truth and honesty in particular'....

Meid · 15/07/2010 17:49

DS (who is 4, at pre-school)

"brings a gentleness into the classroom"

Eleison · 15/07/2010 17:57

Here is an unashamed boast: "In assembly DS2 played the part of a melon salesman with confidence and enthusiasm."

SatinandTat · 15/07/2010 18:07

From the Science teacher "I'll miss seeing her pencil case next year."
What??? My DD is 12 so he could have thought of something a little more constructive surely?

LighteningThief · 15/07/2010 19:41

'DS1's project on Victorian Healthcare was fabulous. I am in awe of your depth of knoewldge in this area MrsLighteningThief' yup, DS1's contribution was the cover page and stapling...

CarGirl · 15/07/2010 19:56

My youngest who is in reception:

"x can swim 15 metres without a float - well done"

Clearly I have a future olympic swimmer on my hands as in 4 lessons she has apparantly learnt this skill never having had a lesson prior to this.

Somehow I think the teacher hasn't realised that there are 2 girls with the same name!!!!!!!!
