Yes, i have no life! And we are lucky in that all the schools near us seem pretty good, but I'm still itching to know if we got our first choice. nerdy.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Sirzy · 16/04/2014 07:20

I was checking mine every time I woke up even though I know we won't find out til 6pm!

Bloody cruel to make us wait all day.

Sorry to those who haven't got what they want

HoneyDragonDoesNotGiveAShit · 16/04/2014 07:21

Aaaaargh. Rumour has it here that we're going to have to wait for a letter and they are sent till today. So realistically the earliest we'll know is Saturday!

That makes the new appeals system a farce Angry

Sirzy · 16/04/2014 07:23

I thought the same honey. The same date only works if everyone has the same policy for revealing the information.

Friends in the next lea already know where we won't know until tonight if we applied online or when post arrives in a few days otherwise

Everyone should be emailed at 9am.

PanelChair · 16/04/2014 07:25

If the PAN is 20 and classes are then combined to give 30 in a class in key stage 1, then it will be an infant class size appeal, I'm afraid.

carrieindex · 16/04/2014 07:26

I feel the same 3as about uniform etc. Not sure what to tell her either. Sorry to hear you didn't even get any of your choices. That is rubbish Sad

ScrambledSmegs · 16/04/2014 07:28

Nothing yet. Anyone from Islington heard yet? Worried that I did something wrong on the application now :(

makesomenoise · 16/04/2014 07:29

Why don't you call them honey? We had a letter sent but when we called on the day were told straight away.

PanelChair · 16/04/2014 07:29

The date on which you hear the decision doesn't really gave any bearing on the eventual outcome of your appeal. There is a deadline for submitting appeals but even that is more for the LEA's convenience - they can't refuse to accept an appeal that is submitted late, although it is clearly to your advantage to appeal on time, rather than risk having your appeal heard after all the others have been decided.

TheDoctrineOfSnatch · 16/04/2014 07:33

Smegs, I think london results come out this evening?

EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 16/04/2014 07:41

Morning Smegs didn't realise we were doing this together :) obviously different lea's. One of my friends has already got here here but when I log in I'm still being told 9.30 :(

HoneyDragonDoesNotGiveAShit · 16/04/2014 07:46

TheNightIsDark it's working now, fx crossed for you

Kefybaby · 16/04/2014 07:48

Feeling nervous and wish I had the results. We are in London too and results are indeed meant to be announced this evening. What time would that be?

DownstairsMixUp · 16/04/2014 07:52

Mine says after 4pm (Kent) Eagerly awaiting!

HoneyDragonDoesNotGiveAShit · 16/04/2014 07:53

We got in! [tbuhappy] I'm so relieved.

Shimmy, what a pita Sad

PanelChair thanks] lovely as ever.

Interesting about the appeals deadline, I didn't know that.

ScrambledSmegs · 16/04/2014 07:57

This evening?! Why did I not know that, I've been obsessing over schools for ages. Flipping hell, I've been awake since 5:30am, sick with nerves.

God knows why as we're supposed to be moving Confused

ScrambledSmegs · 16/04/2014 07:58

Morning Boo. 9:30? How annoying! Fx for you.

Rowgtfc72 · 16/04/2014 08:03

No e mail here in n.e Linc's, had to log onto their website.Got what we wanted though ( infant to junior school place). So much less stressful than when we were turned down for our reception place!

hotcrosshunny · 16/04/2014 08:03

I'm in London and it says evening Hmm

However when I go to the e-admission site it tells me they're having problems with emails. Yahoo and AOL won't release emails. I have a yahkl email Hmm

SauceForTheGander · 16/04/2014 08:04

We none of our first 3 and offered a place an hours walk away in a village school.

I live 10 minutes walk from first choice. Gutted.

mumofthemonsters808 · 16/04/2014 08:09

Sad here, did not get in the school where DS goes to nursery. He is so happy here, no idea how to explain he is going to the awful one down the road. Not got my own head round it yet, must just be grateful he has a school place. Glad to hear some have had good news. At least our council has an efficient system for announcing the results.

hotcrosshunny · 16/04/2014 08:10

*yahoo

Poshsausage · 16/04/2014 08:13

Don't think I can remember my log ins !!! Do they email you anyway ?

Sirzy · 16/04/2014 08:14

posh it depends where you live i think. In lancashire they don't email you you can log on tonight or wait until its posted out in a few days

AmeliaToppingLovesShopping · 16/04/2014 08:28

I'm in Plymouth and have just been offered my first choice. I knew I would as it is undersubsribed every year and she also gets sibling priority.

Have just told DD2 and DD3 who were both so excited they had a naked cuddle Grin

TheNightIsDark · 16/04/2014 08:30

Thanks HD. Got in to our first choice!

Congrats and commiserations to those on this thread. I hope you can appeal if needed.
