'Barf thoom and poot thoom inercot.'
From 'Waiz I help my mum wiv the twins' from a reception child.
Thought 'thoom' was odd for 'them' until I actually said the sentence aloud.....

I once had a Northern Irish boyfriend who wrote me a letter talking about a 'fillum' he'd seen in town and then they'd gone to a 'bonefire'.

NinthWave · 19/05/2013 21:58

TheHerringScreams · 20/05/2013 00:42

And once 'I wanta bee a crokodyl or a mowse or a whore beecoz I lik annimulls.'
Whore= HORSE. It was adorable. And funny.

TheHerringScreams · 20/05/2013 00:46

BlackeyedSusan · 20/05/2013 00:59

penis for pennies and fuck for fork are quite common mistakes.

dd's first attempt at writing was FIU = fire she was obsessed with playing fire fighters at the time.

NorksAreMessy · 20/05/2013 07:08

I also liked my 5 yo dd2's story about the three litol pigs.

DeWe · 20/05/2013 11:54

I expect someone's said this one, but I've a friend who wrote in a spelling test potoooooooo-and got the mark because the teacher thought it was very funny. He did tell her to write the correct spelling out three times though, as we had to with any we got wrong.

APipkinOfPepper · 20/05/2013 12:25

In case this thread's getting too sacchyrine, this hot off the press from my DS, chalked on the path after I got home from work tonight: 'I'm tighud of torcing to you' Decorated with shells and daisies - passive aggressive or what? Should I let him on Mumsnet? He's 6.

Love this thread.

DD once drew Winnie the Pooh characters and labelled them, I rather liked 'pigloot' ('oo' as in book)

She has also written love as 'luff' which makes me smile as MNers write it like that too :o

Jezabelle · 20/05/2013 21:28

cyoocumba
(DD1 writing a shopping list when in reception).

seeker · 20/05/2013 23:18

Bess wrkt ass a framer in de feelt

PassTheTwiglets · 21/05/2013 09:42

What's potooooo and Urc?

My favourite was DS, 4yo at the time - he did a Google search for "nyoosoopamareeobroz" (New Super Mario Bros) :)

StealthOfficialCrispTester · 21/05/2013 09:44

Ds wrote that he wanted ti invite "mafyoo" for tea.
He also left me a note "I am scerd (scared) of Linse".
I asked who this lindsey was, was she picking on him at school?
Turned out to be "lions"
