New thread - happy Monday!

Just incase you are wondering this is a thread for premmie mums who feel like they have missed out on the NCT classes experience and would like to chat.

I have missed out twice as has had two premies!
One of which seems to be wide awake at 4am - I have just fallen over a toy trying to get to her and am now cuddling her praying she'll drop off fast!
How's everyone?

How you getting on ann?

Happy 1st birthday to my gorgeous little warriors who continue to make me proud everyday. The day they were born was the most heartbreaking but wonderful experience of my life. I love them to pluto and back. How quickly a year goes by...

That's brilliant news, ann. I'm so pleased :) and you're welcome xx

We had a small tea party for them. Where dd (who's weaned) had her first taste of chocolate... and she didn't like it Grin It's been a lovely day :)

Where are my lovely ladies at? Hope you're well! :)

Felt like I haven't been on this forum in ages, and just been reflecting on my old thread. Reading through the supportive replies and how quickly a year has gone by :)

Hi , I lost this thread somehow and haven't been in here properly for a while, real life has been taking over Smile we are all good, Alex will be 2 the beginning of December, hard to believe. He's doing great still tiny but otherwise good. He is seeing his consultant next week. He's fully discharged but he is participating in a micro preemie study so gets checked every 6 months. He is never still and keeps trying to get his baby sister to walk Grin she's 11 months but not quite there yet! I plucked up courage to look at a few of the photos of Alex in nicu, just after he was born, it seems incredible.
I have also heard that I have to go for minor surgery in the new year, scar tissue has built up around my hysterectomy scar and it's making my partial paralysis worse, so they are going to try to improve things.

A very belated welcome Ann, and glad to hear alls going well.

Multiplemama, how are you doing? How many weeks are you now? Bless A and her chocolate, made me smile. Unfortunately my children have no such aversion Wink
How are things with your dad and db now?

How's everyone else doing?

Hey, Mama, totally slipped my mind to reply and since I can't sleep...

I gave birth to Feliks on Wednesday 15th. Very traumatic.

I thought A disliked it because it was her first try but I tried the other day with a little piece of mine and she spat it back out Hmm she could have worse habits, so I'm not so put out Grin

My dad and db are doing brilliant. They have their court hearing next month, but my dad was able to push his name change before the date due to safety reasons. So if all goes well, I'll be seeing them both for Christmas. So excited to spend time with my db.

Mama1980 · 20/10/2014 07:33

Oh my goodness multiplemama, congratulations Thanks
How are you? Were you at term? I'm so sorry the experience was traumatic.
I'm so glad to hear everything is going well with your dad and db.

MultipleMama · 20/10/2014 11:13

I'm wrung out, emotional, and numb. I gave birth just after midnight so I had only just turned 26+2 weeks. I have thread on it on the prem board and I have his birth story on the announcement board xxx

MultipleMama · 12/11/2014 13:08

Bankholidaybaby · 13/01/2015 12:00
