Hi please don’t judge. I had my first telephone consultation today she just asked me some medical questions & my reason for wanting a termination, I have my next telephone appointment Friday with a nurse and then she said my pills will be shipped same day. I’m about 5/6 weeks & im absolutely terrified I had a termination about 8/9 years ago and it was a horrible experience as some tissue got stuck in my cervix and I just kept bleeding heavily and passing clots the size of oranges back then I was around 8/9 weeks pregnant. Has anyone had a bad experience but been ok 2nd time I suffer terrible with anxiety so my mind is telling me the worst 😢

@Mumto3ggb I suffer from anxiety too I'm in the same situation as you just had to cancel due to postive Covid case another 2 weeks waiting

Oh no sorry to hear. Having anxiety doesn’t help can only imagine how your feeling. I hope you aren’t too bad with it x

I just keep crying my eyes out op counted down the days then pushed back again 10 more days

How many weeks are you if you don’t mind me asking? I done mine over the phone and was much quicker then getting in with a gp and then them referring you xx

About 5/6 atleast your still quite early in the pregnancy. I hope everything goes okay for you xx

How are you feeling op?

Still feeling extremely anxious & haven’t stopped googling other peoples story’s which is kind of putting my mind at ease but if I’m honest this might sound heartless but I just want it done & over with 😢 how are you feeling? Xx

I don’t know whether this would be an option for you at all but I had an abortion last year, and for various reasons didn’t want the pills. I asked for it to be done surgically and they said that was fine, I had it at 5 weeks, local anaesthetic only, procedure was less than 5 minutes.

@SickAndTiredAgain that wouldn’t really be an option as I have 3 children already and no childcare so home with pills is really the only option for me x

Same with me too it's just so much to deal with and changing appointments I'm trying to keep my mental health straight

Yeah having the set back won’t have helped, I know how you feel about trying to keep your mental health straight it’s a battle. But I’m sure we’ll be fine ❤️ Keep me updated on how your getting on xx

I've had a couple of early miscarriages at 5/6 weeks and it was really very manageable. One was more painful and more blood than a heavy period but not much more if you know what I mean; the other really was just like a heavy period and not that painful at all. I realise a termination might be a bit different as with a mc the pregnancy probably failed a bit before the bleeding starts. But it sounds like you were unlucky last time (and also a bit further along). Hopefully someone with direct experience will be along soon.

My appointment has been brought forward for Thursday for scan and go from there

@Relaxing2 that’s good news I never had to have a scan or see anyone so thought it would be quicker x

I've got to have a scan before anything because I took the morning after pill and there is risks of an eptoic pregnancy

Yeah they arrived yesterday. I’m supposed to take the first today but I’ve had little sleep was up all night being sick 😷 I’m literally so scared how are you feeling you’ve an appointment tomorrow haven’t you x

No I’m waiting till my partner gets home from work I’ll feel abit more at ease knowing someone is here with me incase & let me know how you get on x
