Hi, i found out i was pregnant yesterday after a mc in march.

So nervous constand knicker checking soooo nervous.

JintyMcGinty · 06/06/2010 17:27

Can I join too? Exactly the same for me. Miscarriage followed by an ectopic last autumn. I found out I was pregnanct when I got a BFP on Tuesday and now I'm shitting myself!

xkatyx · 06/06/2010 18:17

Anyone else scared to go for a wee?

naitimum · 06/06/2010 18:39

Hi,
Yep I'm scared to go for a wee and have decided every slight cramp is the end. Plus I'm still only getting faint BFPs, same as last time and that ended in an early mc at the beginning of April.
Good luck ladies, hope we all hang in there!

xkatyx · 06/06/2010 18:48

how many DPO are you?

Some tests are rubbish and only give faint lines untill like weeks after your af was due.

x

naitimum · 06/06/2010 18:57

I'm not entirely sure how many DPO I am cos of mc that sort of messed my cycle up abit, but my last period started 6th May so I'm at 31 days now, think that makes me about 4 weeks so I thought I should have a stronger line by now. It's just freaking me out cos it's the same as last time and also cos I felt really sick last week and now that's gone away on friday - I have never wanted to puke more in my life!!

xkatyx · 06/06/2010 19:03

I had the same with my mc in march but they were really faint and got fainter and i never got a "pregnant 1-2 weeks" but this time my line is faint but has gradually got darker and i git a pregnant 1-2 weeks.

Have you tried a digital, all those lines drive you mad, then once you get pregnant do no more tests as hormones are all over the place.

xx

naitimum · 06/06/2010 19:15

I'm scared to do digital as I'm putting stupid complete faith in the stupid lines getting darker!! Grrr. I think I should just do digital and forget about it. But I can't. Hope things are going ok for you?

xkatyx · 06/06/2010 19:41

i know what you mean, but digitals are so annoying you need to havea good amount of hormone in there to get it, which is why i never got one last time. mine kept saying not pregnant but i finally got a pregnant today and vowed that was the last one.
Its noce to see the actual words.

BrownPaperandString · 06/06/2010 20:57

My last MC that happened at 5 weeks, was a fainter line too. I did find though that if I tested 3 consecutive days, the line got fainter rather than staying the same if that helps at all?

I had a MMC in November and my last MC in the new Year. Just found out I'm PG again so mixed emotions for me too. It's a bit surreal and as if it's not happening at the moment.

My LMP is 7th May, so v close to you too.

naitimum · 07/06/2010 06:46

Yikes. I tested again this morning (that's my test that we have at home). I can't tell if it's fainter or not but it's definitely still faint. I think I'm getting painful thighs which means my period is coming.
Brownpaperandstring I hope things are going of for you. Maybe it's easier if it stays a bit surreal until a bit later into the pregnancy?
Thanks Katy, wise words about the digital test! I will get one if I go another week without a bleed.

xkatyx · 07/06/2010 08:45

Also if it helps look on peaonastick.com it sais that the line doesnt matter how light or dark it is. I have known loads of people whos lines dont get darker.

Good luck to you xxx

mrsjc2305 · 07/06/2010 09:53

Hi Everyone - can I join too? Got BFP on Saturday after having a MC at 6wks at Easter! (LMP - 6 May). Too scared at the minute to get excited but am keeping my fingers crossed!

Am running to the toilet every five minutes to convince myself everything is still ok - my work colleagues are going to think I am mad!

Good luck everyone!

Maybebaby76 · 07/06/2010 10:03

JintyMcGinty shitting yourself describes it perfectly! Oh, if we only had a time machine!

naitimun I had a very very very faint line when I tested on the day of AF, and testing each day after, the line was still very faint and I was very nervous as this is how my ectopic began. DH convinced me to buy a CB didgital and it popped up pregnant straight away and told me how many weeks. Joy followed by more panic!

I freak myself out every other minute, convinced that something awful is going to happen...it's so surreal

Oh, and I've never been to the toilet so much in my life, not because I need to, because I have become a OKC, obsessed knicker checker!

hi,

maybebaby76 you sound exactly like me, i mc in march early. and found out sat i was pregnant.

in and out of the toilet it takes me about 5 minutes to build the courage to actually wipe lol

naitimum · 07/06/2010 12:54

Just to say ladies, I'm lovin this thread! So great to go somewhere where I still feel pretty crazy for totally over-reacting, but at least I'm not alone in that.
xkatyx - I looked on that website (first it took me to a website about peas - lol!!) and that does help but I'm getting a digital later too to put my mind at rest for about 5 minutes! Bless you about building up courage in the loo, know exactly what you mean!!
Good luck mrsjc2305 and welcome. going to the loo every 5 mins to check sounds perfectly natural to me!! I've got a pregnancy test upstairs that I keep looking at every time I go upstairs to see if the line has got darker
Hope all goes well Maybebaby76 - I feel completely the same way!

Maybebaby76 · 07/06/2010 15:13

natimum I may step over the crazy line here but when I emptied our upstairs bin the other day, I lined up all the tests I had taken over the last week (there were a lot, I had bought a batch of cheapies from ebay) and lined them all up to look at the different lines!! Cuckooo!

OP posts:
xkatyx · 07/06/2010 15:58

I have all my tests still lined up in my bedroom and there is loads.

I have also been carrying my digital around so i can just look at the "pregnant" but the sodding thing is clear now, i did love looking at it though

ha ha i love being cuckoo lol isnt it fun

Maybebaby76 · 07/06/2010 16:30

Ha haaaa, I took a photo of mine with my phone so I can keep looking at it! Oh dear In a strange way the madness is keeping me sane?!?!

OP posts:
xkatyx · 07/06/2010 16:43

Yep i know what you are saying ha ha ha.

I mad symptom spotting too, dont seam to have much to be honest.

I dont know if i should be grateful or concerned?

mrsjc2305 · 07/06/2010 17:36

xkatyx - I know how you feel. I don't seem to have any symptoms at the minute (although if I keep prodding my boobs everytime I go to the loo they are going to hurt regardless!

Has anyone gone to the doctors yet? I want to see the same doctor I saw with my MC but can't get an appointment until next Wednesday. I'm thinking of asking to be referred to the EPAU for an early scan if I can to try and get some reassurance. Is anyone else doing this?

xkatyx · 07/06/2010 17:41

Yes i think i will try and get one, if not pay for me if i have to.

Yes my boobs are going to have bruises if i keep poking them.

I'm going to try tommrow, as i also want my doctor and i couldn't get an appointment today.
