very quiet over here indeed!
bella, am supporting you like mad.....was thinking (and dont mind me butting in) if you thought anymore about trying the oxford study? no effort on your part really, just like another persona machine, but, the oxford team also study your results, and after a few months (i forget how many exactly) they can give you an experts read out of your fertility signs/results.......could help? worth a thought anyhow, tho if you buy that temp kit, its bound to remain unused and not be needed after all!!
cadmum, how are you? and mini bump? wishing you well.
wendy, hope youre hanging in there, and am willing an excellent scan result for you. EVERYTHING crossed here.
bonkerz, munz, -everyone, hoping youre all well and doing okay.
I am 16wks+ and had a totally uneventful midwife appointment today. everything seems okay, tho no wriggly belly bean yet, but hoping anyday now
have huge bump already so maybe he just has lots of room in there and no need to bump mummy!

Frizbe · 13/07/2005 19:47

Aw DQ your getting me excited now, I was just reminiscing about the first time I saw dd move properly, which would have been at about 21 weeks, I was lying down and a big foot stuck out of my belly and went from one corner to the other! it felt really odd, and reminded me of the scene from Alien!!

munz · 14/07/2005 08:53

morning all,

no changes here, 5+6 today - god it's going slow! lol.

hope everyone's OK.

bella - notcied you were thinking of temping - i'd recommend it extra 10 mins in bed and also shows implantation dips etc.. u can use fertility friend for it.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 14/07/2005 08:55

glad everything ok this morning hun, keep relaxing! xxx

munz · 14/07/2005 08:57

backatcha girl! hows the bump today lots of movements?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 14/07/2005 09:04

oh yes, proffesional footballer in the making i swear!!!

little bugger - sure knows how to scare its mummy!

munz · 14/07/2005 09:05

lol, well least everything's fine now, now then don't u be overdoing it today.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 14/07/2005 09:06

i dont intend to - a quick trip to tescos for baby wipes and baby bath and then home to chill! Jess is napping right now so lots of peace and quiet!

munz · 14/07/2005 10:00

Good luck for today Wendy {{{Hugs}}}

Well this should make you all laugh, I was just getting a spot of work, work done on the computer and dd was colouring in beside me on her little table, anyway I got absorbed for a few mins and when I looked round to see how she was doing all the crayons had gone.....when I asked her where they were, she pointed at an out of use printer.....that'll teach me to get sucked in! just spent 5 mins goudging out crayons from every orriface of the printer... bless, discovery is great isn't it!

wendy11 · 15/07/2005 12:59

Hello everyone

Had another scan today and although sac has grown and heartbeat still there it is still smaller that would be expected so have to go back in 2 weeks for another scan but the doctor reckoned that this pg would have ended in a miscarriage by then. World seems to be falling down around my ears at the moment and DH worried that I am dwelling on it all the time when actually my mind seems to be completley blank. It is the sitting waiting for the worst to happen and no matter how hard I try I can't seem to see a light at the end of the tunnell. Thanks for all your thoughts and suport. I am not much company at the moment but I will let you know how I am getting on.

dyzzidi · 15/07/2005 13:22

Wendy11 I am so sorry to hear your news. My thoughts are with you and your DP. We are here fory you if and when you need us.

yingers74 · 15/07/2005 16:08

wendy - so sorry to hear your news. My thoughts are with you and your dp. And I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Cadmum · 15/07/2005 18:36

Wendy, I am so sorry that the news was not what you were hoping to hear. Am I an insane optimist for thinking that a heat-beat and a bigger sac means that there is still a possibility that things will turn around for this bean? I sincerely hope that the news in 2 weeks is much better. Keep your feet up and think positively. Pray for this baby to keep fighting. Thinking of you and your DP.

dramaqueen72 · 15/07/2005 19:02

wendy I'm sorry it wasnt great news, but we are ALL keeping fingers crossed for you and that baby bean to make it thro. this could just be the bean that proves dr wrong next scan right? HUGE ((hug)) to you, I only had to wait one week between scans and that was absolute crappy hell in limbo so what your four weeks are like.....well youre a brave lovely person and I am thinking of you.

Frizbe · 15/07/2005 19:16

Oh wendy, I can only echo cadmum and dramaqueens thoughts, I really hope you have a fighter of a bean in there who will make it through {{{BIG HUGS}}}

Cadmum · 16/07/2005 12:32

I had the worst sleep ever last night... Filled with really strange dreams and then I woke up at 7:00 convinced that I am not pregnant any more. I was expecting to see blood when I went to the loo...
Still not 100% convinced that I won't by the end of the day.

Bella23 · 16/07/2005 13:56

Wendy - so sorry to hear that you haven't had great news, still holdng on to the fact that there is still a heart beat and therefore still hope that it might turn out ok in the end.

shhhh · 16/07/2005 23:16

wendy11 I have dropped in from the post natal thread and just wanted to say i'm thinking about you....Having experienced 2 miscarriages and been ttc for nearly 4 years we are now parents of a gorgeous little girl who is now 8 weks old. All I can say is keep your chin up, keep smiling and think positive. I know it sounds mad but keep talking to your "baby", I did from 4 weeks and I didn't care about how stupid people thought I was...I'm sure the positive vibes I passed onto my daughter gave her the stregth to grow bigger. Lol she shouldn't have been too much of a worry for us as she was 9lb 4oz at birth !!
Good luck and I will be thinking of you & dh.xx

munz · 17/07/2005 11:06

oh wend (((hugs))), if there's a strong heartbeat it's still looking positive (well more than if there wasn't one iycwim) try to relax and rest I know it's hard to do, is it possible that the baby was in a wrong position again? or u might have a small baby? I'm really hoping this baby stays put, if it's growing and a heart beat hthat's all good. bit at the dr not giving you much hope. there's always hope hon, so u just rest up and we'll send you all the positive and sticky vibes we can.

thinking of u and DH. hope you have some good news soon. (((hugs))). and remeber we're all here for either of u to chat to.

dramaqueen72 · 17/07/2005 12:43

ladies I'm so sad reading here, cadmum I hope youre okay and tis just worrying nerves making you feel different?
wendy, huge sticky vibes tothat bean of yours. keep telling him to hang in there.
big hugs ladies.

Nemo1977 · 17/07/2005 13:30

hi all

Cadmum · 17/07/2005 14:23

Wendy: Thinking of you and sticky bean. Try to stay positive and image yourself with a big bump in 6 months and a baby in less than 8... I am really praying that things will look brilliant at your next scan. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Cadmum · 17/07/2005 14:35

DQ and Nemo: Thank you for your kind words... I fully expect the next few weeks to be full of mind games and DH has reminded me that the only time I had similar worries in the first trimester was with DS2 and he was born happy and healthy after all...

I suppose that it doesn't really help that I don't have much faith in my GP and now I am behind on 2 night's sleep... (Very clever of me, really!) I had even worse dreams last night...
