course i can munz - i'll check my e-mail in a min. poor old debbsy seems very confused by temping.

cadmum: sorry to hear you have a fever/cold on top of everything else you have to deal with. all the best with your d/h's job news too. sounds like its a win win situation for you?

nemo - NO! dont miss your physio appointment - it is very important for you to go!! cant you do the other stuff another time?

Nemo1977 · 19/09/2005 13:20

Rom how are you feeling today hun??? Hope sickness is going for you.

Went to physio and it was ok, quite funny as she has basically told me
not to sit
not to stand
not to turn
not to bend
not to lift
not to go out shopping
not to push trollies or prams
not to have ds by myself..soo that leaves?????????????????????????LOL
Have got the good old support belt and tubi grip for a night and she has told me to see how I do for 2 weeks and then they may consider crutches which I dont want cos with adam would be a nightmare.
However more importantly the carpet is in and the room looks fab...ooo soo excited cant wait for dh to come home and then he can put wardrobe together..lol

i am very pleased to hear that you did not cancel the physio nemo. good girl! ummm, sounds like you are a bit restricted with your activities for a while! how are you supposed to manage with your son???? did the physio actually do any exercises/manipulating for you?

glad you got the carpet sorted anyway

munzie - i couldnt open debbsys chart, just emailed ya...

Nemo1977 · 19/09/2005 13:31

she gave me some exercises but basically said lie down about 5 times a day on my side to help with the pain. She had afeel and made me do some things while there but not a lot. One thing I will say is the support belt is like a blooming corset and not comfortable at all...lol

emailed back rom.

just had some upsetting news, one of the girls I used to work with committed suicide last week I hadn't spoken to her in about 5 years, but she went out with my best mate and we lived together in the same flat (had 3 sep rooms). i'm just in shock she'd do something like that, she seemed the most together person u could ever meet. it's really unbelievable she'd take her own life.

Nemo1977 · 19/09/2005 13:50

aww munz hun
(((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) am sorry about your friend..thats the horrid thing with depression can seem normal and together face to face but doesnt represent whats going on inside..believe me.

OP posts:
munz · 19/09/2005 13:57

I know it's just such a shock, every where I look i'm seeing her face now. apparently they found her in a shed

Frizbe · 19/09/2005 14:02

Munz, what a shock, hugs hon {{{Hugs}}}

Nemo, glad you made physio, could you get someone in from homestart to help you out with ds for a couple of hours a day? homestart.com me thinks....crutches a mare, a friend of mine had similar probs with her 1st pregnancy, {{{Big Hugs}} to you also

yingers74 · 19/09/2005 14:34

Munz - that is terrible news. My thoughts are with her family and close friends, such a waste.

Cadmum · 19/09/2005 19:45

Sorry Munz. That is horrible. Must have been quite a shock if you thought she was so ?together?. Hugs to you and thinking of her family.

Cadmum · 19/09/2005 19:48

nemo; did the physio offer you a harness to suspend yourself from the ceiling withÉ I just can?t really imagine what you can do with such a long list of things that you cannot.

Won?t your DS just take care of himself until you deliverÉ At least his room looks fab. well done you.

Cadmum · 19/09/2005 19:50

Nemo: Can?t believe that you were 15+ weeks when you started this thread and now Munz, Romilly and I are there!

Frizbe · 19/09/2005 19:50

Thanks. I am really feeling awful. Sinus pain; nasty cough; headache; fever... Paracetamol and bed for me soon.

Baby still has a nice strong heartbeat so obviously not suffering overly much. Still always above 150.

Frizbe · 20/09/2005 13:08

Cadmum hope you feeling better today!

romilly · 20/09/2005 14:35

cadmum: hope your cold is not getting you down too much. i am dreading getting a winter cold - think it would just about finish me off at the moment.

nemo: are you managing to not do anything then?! actually i am not making light of your dilemma, i am in full sympathy, i hope the next 13 or so weeks go quickly for you hun.

hi frizbe - fewer bites now?

where are george and dramaqueen hiding this week?
hey DQ - hope you have a nice day planned for tomorrow my twin brother is wanting us to go out to celebrate at some swanky restaurant or gastropub, but i have warned him that might not be the best idea for me at the moment!

munz - is debbsy managing any better now with the chart?

munz · 20/09/2005 15:28

cadmum - how r u feeling today honney?

rom - erm shes manageing I think - temps are back up again today - do u know anything about cervix positions? we've got a thread on chat if u wanna have a look at it - i'm no good with the cervix positions.

nemo - how r u gettin on with things?

just got tback from the m/w apt, we heard the heartbeat, and then little monkey didn't like it so kicked up and scooted off. thankfully she found it again thou, BP fine, blood work fine as well - big relief can start enjoying things now! also ordered my nappies this morning - DH is gonna kill me when he sees the price - oh well!

should we start a new thread soon girls? - what do u all think?

Frizbe · 20/09/2005 16:37

aww munz that's great, I just got a walloping kick too!
Rom, you have a twin! does that mean he gets labour pains too!!! (and that's an evil one! inflicting labour pains on men!!)
Bites have just about gone now thanks, think something had crept in from the garden, as got bitten once last night, when fetching some tomatoes in from the garden!

Cadmum · 20/09/2005 16:41

Thanks for asking after me. I am feeling somewhat less pathetic but now I have a dreadful cough so between DS2 and I there was no sleep in this house last night. (Tired emoticon)

Hope you are all well. Will try to catch up later.

Cadmum · 20/09/2005 16:41

Munz: Glad your appt went so well.

Harrizeb · 20/09/2005 17:02

Rom not sure if this will help you, you have probably already seen it
