Hi all

{{{Big Hugs}}} to you Cadmum, can totally see why you are stressed out, but try not to worry too much re Jordan, is a rather safe place for the middle east area, and is still being touted as a holiday destination for uk citizens, so can't be that bad at all! in fact if you were to fly to GB from the USA at the moment, we are a higher risk! tee heeeeeeeeee

Munz 13 weeks congrats and welcome to the 2nd trimester!

Rom my sickness has gone in the last few days, hurrah and I'm 14 weeks, so the theory seems to hold out!

Hope you all have a good weekend

munz · 04/09/2005 09:54

Rom - well yes hon according to the hosppital i'm 14 weeks today and due on the 3rd march - but hell what do they know? according to my date's i'm still with u due 11th march and am 13+2 (quite prefer that as then I have a 'date' buddy!) - ooh and of course cadmum's due 10th as well so all 3 of us - wouldn't it be odd if we all had our bean's together. ooh and I find crisps/chedders help me in the mornings - god this beanis so healthily fed!

cadmum - ((((hugs)))) sorry it didn't all work out for u at your apt honney, I know how much it ment to you, is there any chance you could go back in say 2 weeks and demand an additional checkup for peace of mind? either way we'll all be hoping for u here and preying the beanie sticks, and stays. for now thou please try to take a littel comfort from the factthe bean looks healthy for now and has a strong heart etc.. as the other girls said each PG is different, lets hope this ones a sticker. try to get a little bit of rest if u can ((hugs)) and keep positive althou I know how hard it is for u. How long is DH away for? as u say at least it's not iraq - and as for my DH says he doesn't know about Jorden - which in other words mean's they've not had any serious stuff come over their radios etc.. as they normally do. as long as ur DH keeps his head down, hopefully he will come home quickly and safely. and finally - u know what i'm gonna tell u about postin don't u!!! said it b4, we don't care what u post, it could be random stuff about the weather, but it's good to talk, (cliche yes) but it is good to talk, and get things off your chest after all we may just be able to help, and if not we can certainly listen and offer our support. ((((((hugs))))). hope things look brighter for u soon. roll on 4 weeks eh when hopefully the little bean will start moving about (or is that too soon to feel?) ooh and u mum - my vote's still tell her when ur in labour!

nemo - I'm exactly the same as you with my dates - accordin to the hospital I ov'ed, (or got PG, or bled - impossible I know this for a fact) 8 days b4 I actually did, and I know for a fact cos the cycle b4 this was the m/c, and I know for a fact when I ov'ed cos I was using persona (being a tight arse and didn't want to spend twice the money and reset for the followin month) I recon our baby's just got a big head!

JM - not long to go now eh - don't forget on fri, new house - get DH to move the computer first then set it up ready then he can move the rest of it! and u get back on line and chat to us!

hope the rest of u girls are OK.

george32 · 04/09/2005 11:00

Hi all,
Cadmum, I'm so sorry you are so stressed out at the moment. It must be awful with you DH going away again at this time. How long will he be away for? Have you thought any more about renting a doppler? It really has put my mind at rest and stops me worrying all the time.
Please don't be put off posting your worrying on here. I know it does me good to get things off my chest sometimes & run them past other people. We are all here for you. {{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}

I can't believe how quickly the time seems to be flying by for everyone. I finish work in 6 weeks!!
Oh how I'm looking forward to that.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 04/09/2005 11:03

6 weeks and 5 days and counting..... this baby WILL come out soon!

romilly · 04/09/2005 16:05

munz: i am really pleased to hear that you are going to stay on our "buddy" dates . its more fun that way

george - very very very jealous of you finishing work in 6 weeks time

wont stay on long today cause im having a particularly bad day (it seems like i say that every day these days!) oh roll on 14 weeks.....

enjoy the rest of the weekend all you girls

munz · 04/09/2005 17:02

rom - u have my sympathy hon, today was sick for the first time - about 2 secs after eating a beef sarnie - god poor u if u have that everyday - hoping i'll be Ok for tea now.

Frizbe · 04/09/2005 20:35

Oh girls, here's hoping the sickness is related to the horrible heat today, and you'll both be feeling lots better tomorrow, although I have a theory about feeling sick and bubbas having growth spurts!
So am I the only one getting bitten to death then? 20 bites in 3 days and counting (and scratching.....)

munz · 05/09/2005 07:38

ooh that's an intresting theory friz - we'll have to see how I get on at lunch time I think - DH was more upset at the beef sarnie I'd wasted (said the loo might as well have eaten it! lol)

hereshoping · 05/09/2005 10:12

Hi cadmum
just wanted to let you know Im thinking of you
not been posting as my pg not straightforward and pretty stressy - after early bleeding and worryoing about losing it now bowel abnormality on 20 week scan - however now seen fetal medicine specialist whos been pretty reassuring but need growth scans........
this 4th child isnt simple is it? its a real walk on the dark side after 3 good pgs with no hassles to experience mcs and complications, Im trying to have faith that my body can grow a healthy baby as it has 3 times before but its not easy is it? thinking of you and hope you can get thru this strssful time.

george32 · 05/09/2005 16:37

Hi Hereshoping, I was wondering where you had gone to. I'm so sorry that things still aren't going smoothly for you. It must be so worrying all the time.

Frizbe, what are you doing? That is a major case of being bitten, you must have really good blood!

Back to work for me today, urgh to tubes, urgh to sitting at a desk, urgh to having to try to work with no brain (forgot what a washing machine was called last night .....you know, that spinning thing!!)
Roll on 6 weeks........

romilly · 05/09/2005 16:43

lol george - "spinning thing"!!! i was berating my computer in front of my boss for being crap when it turned out the CD disc i was trying to view wouldnt read...because i had put it in upside down!

hereshoping - really really sorry you have been having such a stressful time. i dont think pregnancy is an easy time at all personally - i know some people sail through, but i think for a lot of us it is enormously stressy and difficult. i truly wish you all the best for the next part.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/09/2005 16:45

Glad most of us seem to be getting better.... hugs to those who are still under the weather.

Well, i have felt shocking for 2 days now - sweating and tired and just not "with it".... really just want to curl up in bed and stay there until this baby pops out!

Moving house on friday and DREADING it - have got so much to do between now and then, and dont even know where to start!

Roll on 6.5 weeks - THIS BUN IS COOKED!

dramaqueen72 · 05/09/2005 16:49

hereshoping- ditto fourth baby not being quite the walk in the park I am used too. also had a soft marker raised at our 20wk scan too. but looking better now, next scan end of oct (36wks or there abouts) please ladies i beg you PLEASE keep posting, even if youre feeling constantly crap, or lifes being shi**y, or pg not going well.....I do need to hear this, as sometimes I feel like the only one whos not perfect/going perfectly well iykwim. You are my 'original gang' of ladies and we can support each other thro the good the bad and downright horrible.

george32 · 05/09/2005 16:52

J&BM, you start by sitting down & putting your feet up! No stress for you, the move is going to happen around you (how bossy am I today? )

Oh Rom, I'm glad it's not just me. Also managed to shut my hand in the dishwasher because I forgot to let go of the door. I knew as I was doing it I had forgotten something!

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/09/2005 16:55

George - im trying, but DH is a nightmare to organise! Tonight when he gets in from work, he would rather have his tea and sit and watch crap on telly, when in reality he needs to take stairgate off kitchen door, dismantle jess's swing in the garden, tidy shed out, clean kitchen floor and cut the grass..... thats just for starters! I can see me with the screwdriver at 8pm tonight!

george32 · 05/09/2005 17:01

LOL J&BM, your DH sounds just like me when I move house!

I always leave everything to the last minute and have a mad panic.

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 05/09/2005 17:03

its a nightmare! Luckily, being army, they are packing and unpacking for us, but its the "little bits" that need doing before they come!

Roll on next week when we will be in my new house and we can start getting baby stuff sorted!

Frizbe · 05/09/2005 19:22

J&BMummy your so brave moving house when bump is this close! good luck!

Rom cd upside down, doh! and lol at that spinny thing George!

Hereshopping you must keep posting, we're all here for you good or bad, fingers x'd all is ok with your bump when its born tho, I guess we sometimes forget that even if a bump appears healthy it might not be, I certainly wasn't prepared when dd was born with a dislocated hip, it hadn't even entered my head that anything would be out of place.....
DQ hope things are ok for you too {{Hugs}} to you both.
George ouch re hand!

Well FYI I have just the one more bite tonight....itch, itch, itch, ouch!

I only have a moment here as I need to get DS2 off to bed or i won't have five seconds to talk to DH and his week-end visit is quickly drawing to a close...

Hereshoping: Thank you SO much for posting. I am really sorry to hear that you are still having a rough time and that #4 is giving you so many worries. I honestly think of you all the time and was worried about how you were getting on. I sure hope that the specialist you saw most recently is correct and that everything will be OK. The advantage of growth scans is that they are the next best thing to installing a window to check on your little-one. DS 1 needed them and I began to look forward to seeing him because at least I could feel him kicking and moving about between scans.

I did rent a doppler. It is amazing to hear the baby's heart beating away but WAY TOO stressful when I can't seem to find it. Frustrating to be defeated by technology that I was hoping would lead to less stress. Wish I had run with my gut-instict and steared well clear of the thing.

More tomorrow when DH is away again. Hope you are all well.

DQ Can't leave without thanking you for the reminder that we all need to post even when we are all feeling CRAP. I will try.

george32 · 06/09/2005 08:45

Cadmum, I'm so so sorry that the doppler is causing you more stress than good.
How long will you DH be away for this time? I bet it had been so lovely to have him home, it must be terribly hard to be away from him for so long.

Frizbe, another bite? What? How? Fortunately we are just plagued by daddy long legs at the moment, the cats are having a field day chasing them

munz · 06/09/2005 09:27

mornin girls,

hope everyone's doin OK.

HH (((hugs))) so sorry 're going thru the mill, hope things work out well in the end thou.

george - 6 weeks till mat leave starts - wanna trade? I won't start mine till mid/end feb not sure yet will see how we get on. lol at hand in the dishwasher. I confess to puttin vanish tablets in there instead of dishwasher ones - and thhat was B4 I was PG!

rom - LOL@u as well with ur CD ROM! lol.

JM&B - good luck for the move and u're to be packed off to ur dad's on thursday avo if u're gonna be tempted to help, and come back on sat morning to a new lovely house! failin that don't do a thing - literally. (apart from make a cup of tea)

DQ - we'll all continue to post and support each other, hope your next scan goes well.

cadmum - sorry u're not having much luck with the doppler - have u tried it on a full bladder/ and u're legs over the end of the sofa (raised up)? hope all goes well as well for u. roll on 4/5 weeks time. ((hugs))

no real changes here, i'm not really sleepin thou was wondering if the bean would be particually active yet at night?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 06/09/2005 10:19

munz - if i thought DH would cope on his own - i would go to dads on thursday - but i know for a fact he would forget A LOT of things so best i stick close by!

With you on the not sleeping - had the worst night ever last night - tossing and turning from 1.30am and basically feel like poo today ( DH taken time off to look after me though )

romilly · 06/09/2005 12:14

J&BM - dont envy you having to move, very stressful time in my experience. take it easy as much as you can hon.

cadmum: interesting to hear your comments on the doppler, i have to admit that is the exact reason i decided against one in the end. plus mr.rom (who knows exactly what i'm like!) banned me from getting one, lol

munzie - i meant to e-mail you yesterday but didnt get a minute (work v. busy at the mo.) wanted to commiserate with you that you are now experiencing the colourful world of throwing up! isnt it just the grossest. sorry everyone i am such a moaner - dont believe in suffering in silence myself

george - i am very glad to have a fellow-competitor in the pregnancy "mushy" brain stakes! dont forget i am blonde too so i may well win hands down lol @ trapped hand in dishwasher, ouch!

DQ - i am patiently awaiting friday when i shall be 14 weeks so keep willing for me please! i am so glad your marker thing seems to have cleared up. and ditto what everybody else has said about how we should all post, miserable posts or happy ones - everyone can relate. so keep posting girls.

frizbe - i am also intrigued.. what is biting you????? do you have pets? i once had a fleabag cat that caused us a nightmare having to fumigate the whole house out, lol

munz · 06/09/2005 13:23

rom - ahem, don't wanna brag but ahem, sickness has gone back to what it was (just a bit in the mornings which I control by eating copious amounts of crips!) think beanie just didn't want to have beef on sunday as we'd had it on saturday night! either way been sticking to a trusted cheese, and have been fine. could u pop onto the TTC beanie thread if u have a minute, deb's is stressin about tempin, and I said u were tempin queen! lol. u're blonde to - YAY!!! : a blonde buddy as well!

JM&B - has he not been given time off for moving? know what u mean about DH and packing - mine thinks it's ok to chuck everyhting in a box as long as it has a label on it to say what's inside. no order etc just a label. still hoping for promotion in oct, when does ur board sit? ours apparently cos out in oct so fingers crossed(if u don't mind in oct all of u sending DH some pos vibes cos it would be great if he got the promotion)
