are we talking baby names here? ohhhhh good, we have 100% decided on girls name but am 90% sure this is aboy -LOL! so must work harder on final decision for a boys name. we like Noah and also Finnigan/finnegan, 9and the middle name would be daniel after dh) but not 100% bowled over by either, iykwim. Daisy grace is our girls name.we just loved that.

Nemo1977 · 31/08/2005 12:46

Surely my time has to be soon!

munz · 01/09/2005 09:32

morning girls,

nemo - yes I don't mind a new thread if u want to start one, think we've all had scans now.

rom - thank you and backatcha girl! our beanies are gonna be little heart breakers by the time they're born!

bella - good luck this month honney, I'm hopeful for u. rember the key is john wayne sytle! lol.

JM&B - hows jess now?

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 01/09/2005 09:35

munz - Jessi is fine.... i think she got away with murder on her hols because she seems to know what to do to get a reaction!

SLept fantastic last night - 7-7 which is unheard of her so well happy!

MW appointment yesterday went well.... measuring 1cm under dates for bump which isnt unusual for me, baby heart rate was 152, bp was 100/55 and NO LONGER BREACH which made my day! Just hopin it stays that way because the thought of a CS scares me!!!

munz, scan dates will confirm/alter you LMP date -if they disagree by ten days or more. currently my belly bean is measuring seven days bigger but they havent changed my dates for this, was told it had to be over ten. my bump is measuring perfect exact week I am.
j&bm -good to hear baby round right way! my first baby was transverse -across me!- right up until my last appointment. god I was scared silly! keep kneeling down on all fours with bum higher than head (v good for getting head down) (altho you look silly) and sitting on birthing ball is also apparently helpful for getting everything inline.
happy september ladies

george32 · 01/09/2005 16:27

Hi all,
Bella, how lovely to see you here. I'm glad you are still keeping at it. It's going to be this month, I can just feel it.
Had a quick look at your picture Munz, it's so clear, it's wonderful.
Lovely time down in St Ives Rom, we stayed just outside at a place called Carbis Bay which was beautiful. I think we might go again next year as it was perfect for the kids.
J&BM, you really are on the countdown now aren't you? I'm glad the baby is behaving & turned the right way round now. Good luck with the move next week, don't do anything strenuous, making tea is your limit I think.
Nemo, yah from me for the new thread too.

I'm 23 weeks today & feeling very broody having seen my bf new baby. She is gorgeous. I'm now willing on my last 4 months even after listening to her labour & first 24 hour horror stories

jessicaandbumpsmummy · 01/09/2005 19:09

With Dh about ill be lucky if im allowed to even do that! He's ordered me to take Jessi to toddler group next friday so im out theway!

Frizbe · 01/09/2005 21:14

Hello! good to see all is well with eveyone!
Had a lovely weekend away, and then this week back has just been mad! but catching up with you all now.
Had MW 14wk appt yesterday and tried and failed to hear bumps heartbeat, but did hear a pop which MW swore was a kick....? have to go back for more bloods in two weeks.....roll on 20 wk scan!
Have been and purchased a new pair of maternity joggers today, as rest of stuff still crammed into loft somewhere, waiting for dh to go and find it! but know I'm flat out of trousers as they'd all fallen apart by the end of my preg with dd! boobs also growing....and again lots of bigger bras in loft, time to kick dh up bum I think!

romilly · 02/09/2005 13:17

BELLA: doesnt sound nuts at all to me - in fact i was thinking oops, you missed one off the list - no getting out of bed for at least half an hour after the deed, lol!!!
munzie - john wayne style ?? lol

hi frizbe, good to have you back.

ok everyone: a question: my midwife said stop taking pregnacare now i am 13 weeks. she said it was something to do with the iron. i dont get it? i know you were asking this munzie, but surely it is better to be taking vits the whole way through. what do you all do? i am not at all convinced i should stop.

munz · 02/09/2005 13:22

rom i'm wiht u still takin mine, is it harmful to beanie now? (only got 2 weeks supply left nayhow) but need to get some more over the w/e won't bother if it's not needed. we've got er.. 27 weeks left to go? YAY!! nearly half way!

george - u're over half way now honney - all down hill from now!

JM - yes young lady no doing anything - except perhaps get DH to unpack the comp and give us a runnin commentry/piccs of what's goin on!

DQ/JM glad babies are the right way around.

romilly · 02/09/2005 13:37

munzie - it didnt make any sense to me, i told her there was only 17mg of iron in them and she said you dont need them as you only needed them for the folic acid in the first trimester. what i dont get is why iron should be a problem, i thought you needed plenty of iron later on. i forgot to ask her because we got interrupted at that point and i never went back to the topic.
