I'm 33 wks preg, so the rental agreement I've got with DD2 is up soon

But apart from missing her being snug in there, there are so many things I'm looking forward to, laying down in the bath, not having to wake up to turn over at night, and most of all having more than just three pairs of jeans to choose from in the morning

What can't you wait to do?

Good thread!

Oh lots, im looking forward to not worrying about everything i eat/dont eat. Not waking up 50 million times a night while turning over or needing a wee. Like you, im looking forward to having more clothes to choose from! Not feeling sick and exhausted. Being able to pick my DD1 up again. Drinking cola without a major guilt trip. LOSING WEIGHT
Lying on my tummy in bed. Getting close to DF again (cant bear to be touched now, 34 weeks and irritable lol) being able to breathe! Im sure there are more I am enjoying pregnancy more this time round though so i will miss having DD wriggling around in there

Look forward to reading replies!

Oooooh loads.
Looking forward to walking without hips causing pain.
Dying hair blonde again.
Running around with DS.
Living on cappacino's.
Not worrying about swine flu quite as much (although will prob worry about new born catching it)!
Huuuuuuge glass of wine.
Getting my face back (33 weeks and look like a hampster storing nuts).
Wearing high heels (but thats probably another 18 months away)and getting dressed up!
But yes like both of you, I will miss things about being PG too. x

GuernseyFrench · 20/11/2009 13:35

Wearing other shoes than Uggs

Doing my bikini line myself

Wearing other thing than leggings

Eating a steak tartare!

To be able to bend down to get stuff on the floor

Stopping having to take antibiotics (my body is reacting against the pregnancy hormones)

Surely there are more but I'll also miss the kickboxing session DS is having inside

Horsiemummy · 20/11/2009 13:37

wow, great thread.

yep me too on walking without PGP agony.
Running without everything wobbling!
pate on crusty bread.
taking action on getting my bum down to a more attractive size...

will miss it tho. for all its woes i guess pregnancy is such a special time.

mama2moo · 20/11/2009 13:37

I need a drink! For some reason this time I am dying for a few drinks.

I want to walk around a shop for longer then 5 minutes without feeling faint and sick.

I want to have fun with dd again.

Roll on January

theminniebauble · 20/11/2009 13:37

Hm..... Port and stilton. Being able to pick things up quickly when I drop them on the floor. Enjoying an evening without my legs deciding that they would like to jump around for a couple of hours. Not feeling the need to rub/scratch my tummy whilst in a public or professional environment. Not looking like dracula every time I brush my teeth. Wearing my wedding and engagement rings again!

AgentZigzag · 20/11/2009 13:37

Yeah, it's weird isn't it, it's so uncomfortable nearer the end, and you have to 'give up' so much, but it's lovely having that closeness to them.

Scorps · 20/11/2009 13:39

Proper sex

Thai boxing

Red wine [dribble]& the mouldiest cheese ever (poss foie gras...don't shoot me!)

Having some nice, normal clothes with buttons!

(Am 35 weeks today)

Scorps · 20/11/2009 13:40

I will miss her so much; she is my last baby so really i don't mind how late she is!

AgentZigzag · 20/11/2009 13:44

Awww thats so sweet scorps, I'm not planning on any more either, but as she was a kind of asurprise I'm just so glad to have 'cooked' her at whatever cost

Me too, this is my last baby and i am loving every minute. Even though its pretty uncomfortable now! worth it though. One thing i missed off, im looking forward to no more indegestion/heartburn!!! Never had it in my life until this pregnancy and oh my word, it is AWFUL!! - sick face not envy lol

jbambie · 20/11/2009 13:56

This post has realy cheered me up, bit fedup today. so heres mine
Doc martin boots
black tower rose
Lying on my belly to sleep
Medication ( i have arthritis and have had to stop all bar one of my medication)
Thankyou for the Post

jbambie · 20/11/2009 13:58

Forget to say i am 32 weeks. (grin)

TheMightyToosh · 20/11/2009 13:59

Sleeping on my front. (Though from experience with DC1, that doesn't happen until breast-feeding is well underway and boobs are less enormous/sore, so it will be a while yet....)

Exercising - without being out of breath before I start.

And a big, crisp, juicy pint!

morningpaper · 20/11/2009 14:00

Do you know, I gave birth 4 years ago and nearly every night I STILL breathe a sigh of relief that I can sleep on my front!!!!

bigpreggybelly · 20/11/2009 14:31

Having more energy.
Being able to walk up the stairs without feeling like I'm gonna collapse at the top.
Not feeling like some arthritic cripple.
Not belching any more.
Getting back into my old clothes (here's hoping!) again especially my jeans.
My home made sloe gin should be just about ready!
Being able to eat forbidden foods again.
Not having this ridiculously huge stomach getting in the way any more (I'm 33 weeks).
People not commenting on my stomach any more or looking at it.

I'm actually getting to the point that I'm wondering if I'll ever go back to normal again - please say I will!

fiziwizzle · 20/11/2009 14:34

Large glass of exceptionally good red wine. Followed by the rest of the bottle

Gangle · 20/11/2009 14:36

Being able to drink wine and wear nice clothes again and not feeling like an enormous lard arse all the time

StrikeUpTheBand · 20/11/2009 14:40

Coffee (craving but avoided all pregnancy)
Diet Coke
Eating normally (I have Gestational diabetes)
NO more insulin injections
Cake
Sleeping on my back
Chocolate
Raisins
Juice
Breakfast cereal with milk (can't have it at moment due to GD!).

Actually a lot of the 'forbidden foods' are not things I enjoy anyway, and I don't drink much at the best of times, so if it weren't for the diabetes thing I wouldn't miss a lot (apart from sleeping on my back!).

AgentZigzag · 20/11/2009 14:40

Bigpreg, I fkg well hope so! Just having all the weight that's in there, out, will surely fell like we're in less gravity! DD1 is 9, so I've forgotten how it feels, had other things to worry about, like how on earth to cope with the sheer amount that was in DDs nappy lol

Ooops - I drink coffee and diet coke when pregnant.

wasabipeanut · 20/11/2009 14:58

Ooooh let me see.

Freedom of movement
Not having heartburn more or less all the time
Pate & toast
As many cappuccino's as I darn well wish (although will have to wait until breastfeeding stops for that unless I want a hyper wired baby)

and, most importantly, wine and gin

mosschops30 · 20/11/2009 15:01

great sex with dh
being able to turn normally in bed
not having to pee all the time
not having to get up to pee
blue cheese (lots of it)
pate on hot buttered toast (lots of it)
pushing my new travel system
being able to shave my ladybits
being able to paint my own toenails
being able to do up my velcro trainers

mosschops30 · 20/11/2009 15:02
