Hi folks,

Anyone gone private for an early scan? you can't get an early reassurance scan in my area but there is a company - healthcarenow ltd in Edinburgh - that offer early scans from 7-11 weeks for £55.

Anyone been for something similar or know of another route?

I am also having HcG levels done next week but I would like the reassurance of an early scan since I m/c at 8.5 weeks (discovered at 11wks) last time.

good morning folks !! yep trixy - this is pretty rough weather1 i can well believe that glasgow had 1/2 od decembers rain on monday alone! i couldnt believe the amount of land that was flooded between glasgow and edinburgh yesteday while on the bus - nor could i quite believe the 3.5 hrs it took. not good with a pregnant bladded!

go lolli go - you r nearly there with the waiting! still on cleaning frenzy??

i have an antenatal appt this afternon. i get so nervous about these things. my LO was moving at around 18 weeks but she seems quieter now. having become such a worry wort - it really stresses me. hopefully there will be reassurance today!

off now to get some work done. there is now forecast for the north over the weekend!!!!!!!

bananasarny · 14/12/2006 10:48

lol, glad you still hanging in their lolly, sit in straight back chair make sure babby is in good position!!

I'm 20 weeks now and is moving like mad, but apparently as they get bigger they have less room to move, so you dont feel as much movement?!
Yes defo getting tickled, from top to bottom, so strange like a puppy in a pillowcase!!

I really dislike the appointments, I get the urge to run out! Think thats cos they havent gone to well, had midwife chumps.

Just a thought but should we change the title of this thread - Glasgow scans a bit misleading? Just to Scottish mums or something? What everyone think?

Oh by the way Loong Fung apparently do chinese dim sum and tea, and its fresh made on premises, sauchiehall street glasgow, about a £10er a head.
Just thought I'd throw that in!

I am day 31 now have been feeling pregnant being sick excruciating breasts some stretching feelings in lower tummy pain during sex so I am hoping I am but done a test day 29 was negative however last time I was pregnant I had 7 negative tests and only one positive so not sure how else I can find out. Its so stressful
