Earliest Symptoms?

Im TTC#1 and wondered how early any symptoms can kick in, ive been told they start around 4 weeks but is it poss for them to start earlier than that?

Ive had nausea and dizziness twice, my nipples have been very sore (not sure even if its the nipples or the whole breasts that get sore) but what makes it hard to tell is it hasnt been consistent. Ill be fine one day then groggy the next. is that normal?

Mine start at about 3 weeks for me too - so around 5 or 6 days after conception: nausea, tiredness, mood swings, inexplicably worrying about whether food is 'safe' and a heightened sense of smell. A bit like PMT but not!

They can be a bit inconsistent at the beginning, yes.

haha same here with the "safe" food, my DP is forever forgetting with me snapping at him 'I CANT EAT THAT CAN I!?' bless. Thanks for the advice, not too long now til i can take a test.

tingly nipples from between 3-4 weeks. Implantation back ache at 3 weeks.

Ive got sore boobs and feel like bloating... do you think I can test 10 days before my next period is due? I don't want to be disappointed and get false illusions....this is because I can't wait till I get a positive result!!!

lol neither can i rouquine but i think its quite unlikely that a test will pick up the hormones that early. At least wait til 2 or 1 days before you AF is due, your more likely to get a true outcome then. Im playing the waiting game too!

I had blue veins on my boobs pretty much right away. Never saw this before and didn't show up with 2nd (goody).

And no, don't test early. :-) Believe me, most of us have been there. The terrible two-week wait.

im in the middle of a 4-5 weeks wait cos of the pill
keep thinking every little twinge is a symptom, going out of my mind.

nothing until at least 7 or 8 weeks for me. And by then I'd tested anyway so I already knew. Absolutely nothing else before that.

Mine were, feeling nauseas, going off alcohol big time (good thing too) being generally paranoid and moody! And sore boobies!
Do you have sore boobies!? And constantly hard tingly nipples(but not in a good way!)

Ive got a bad feeling about this month Had the WORST headache yesterday, lasted from 3pm til i went to bed at 10 then couldnt sleep for about an hour, also felt sick.
Lying in bed now and got v bad abdmoninal pain, like cramps, so id be surprised if my AF doesnt make an appearance.
Hope its better news for you Rouquine!

same here lol, i also had a terrible headache yesterday that lasted for only 2 hours, but then got slight abdominal cramps.I finally went to bed at around 11h when I just had this feeling of a close period accompanied by Sunday blues
hope we're both mistaken TishTosh ....

Well ive heard that both headaches and cramps can both be signs of preg so fingers crossed for us both! let me know if you get any good news

I'm 7+1 weeks and only really got symptoms from about 5. Boobs went from a C to a D virtually over night. (Hubby loves it!)But nausea only kicked in bout 5 days ago. Think it's different for everyone. Don't think there is a definite time for symptoms to start. All the best!

Im still a bit worried that the test wont be right even after 4 weeks coming off the pill cos i could only be at the most 3ish weeks pg, will tests pick that up??

i'd wait until your period is late. I tested 4 days after I was due to start and got positive test. It's tempting but all my friends who are pregnant have all agreed don't test early, you'll only feel down if it's negative. Late period is the biggest sign obviously

Oh and I conceived immediately after coming off the pill, I didn't even have a period. So I see your concern about being a few weeks off the pill. Doc told me I was a bit of a rareity to conceive instantly. It can take months for your system to sort itself
