YEE HAA!! Good old Neddie Thanks plumprumpsoggybaps Loving your name!) Oh - now that's set us off on another sweepstake....name the LOs

Duchesse hope you're bearing up too and your DD is doing well.

Must run - dinner to be served and a cat to slap

mrsboogie · 27/08/2009 19:09

congrats neddie and the tins!!
can't wait to hear all these new names!

johnworf · 27/08/2009 20:27

Evening all.

Lots of babies!! Yay! We need some clues to names

Knackered after a trip to Gullivers World. Everyone was there or it felt like it. Over an hour queue to get on every ride. Gave up after 4 rides in 5 hours and came home.

I'm too old for this kind of thing. I should be at home, feet up, watching Murder She Wrote.

jeanjeannie · 27/08/2009 20:46

jw OMG that's bonkers! I've yet to experience the wonderful world of theme parks. I'm quite near Legoland....had no urges to go!

I've been a right Nigella tonight - full on home made cannelloni followed by cinnamon and lemon rice pudding. Oh I'm going to look dreadful come Saturday! cares

tee Adam is totally and uttely gorgeous! Just seen the vid on FB - such a handsome chap

Tee2072 · 27/08/2009 20:58

JW I've felt to old for that sort of thing for about 20 years. What does that say about me?

dawntigga · 27/08/2009 21:05

Tee but is it too loud?

NeverGoingToBeTooLoudTiggaxx

Tee2072 · 27/08/2009 21:06

dawn its been too loud for about 25 years!!

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 27/08/2009 21:15

It's me again- I've been given permission to give out names and weights of Neddie's babies.......

jeanjeannie · 27/08/2009 21:17

OOoooo, OOOOoooo, OOOOoooooo Please, please, please, please!!!!!! [begging emoticon]

lovely plumprumpsoggybaps do please tell!

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 27/08/2009 21:20

Hmm. Four whole minutes and only one reply.

Not sure that's good enough.....

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 27/08/2009 21:22

Lthough it was a very good reply and you like my name

So, just for you jeanjeannie, they are Oscar Lloyd who is 6lb 4oz and Cerys Rowan who weighed in at 5 lb 7 oz.

Am ridiculously proud of my old friend.

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 27/08/2009 21:26

Oops. Cerys is 5lb, 7 and a half ounces.

My bad.

Tee2072 · 27/08/2009 21:29

Thank you so very much lovely and wonderful plumprumpsoggybaps!! You are the most wonderful friend in the whole world!

And welcome Oscar and Cerys! Two good sized twins!

jeanjeannie · 27/08/2009 21:31

OH what FABULOUS names! claps appreciatively
She's even managed to name one of them after my street....

Mucho thanks plumprump (I feel I can call you that now )

Brilliant weights too - she breeds 'em fine and strong - much like the horses I imagine!

Send her love and I do hope she takes it easy....no covering mares and driving clapped out Landrovers...or she'll have us to answer to

ermintrude13 · 27/08/2009 21:49

How exciting, I'm glad I didn't have time to post till now and there's lovely baby news

Duchesse many congratulations on your baby girl, so sorry your HB dreams didn't work out but delighted to hear of safe arrival of duchessina and hope you recover from the experience v quickly xx

Neddie woo-hoo, well done, congratulations, and I love those names! (thanks to plumprump for letting us know). Your two weighed 4oz more than my 1 .

Meanwhile, Tee I got to grade 3 in violin and even I can still read music. Perhaps you have a mental block . Floria 2 pianos, there's posh!

JJ I wish I'd had tea at your house, and JW I really don't envy you Gulliver's World - I can only cope with those places when they're nearly empty which is only when they're freezing cold, which brings its own problems.

Better go to bed - Arthur has changed his 11pm-4am and then 4.30-7.00 sleeping pattern - well, it's the same but starts at 9pm. I'm knackered after 2 nights of it so will have to start going to bed much earlier. How can I teach an 8wk old the time?

PlumpRumpSoggyBaps · 27/08/2009 22:17

Aw, shucks.

I will pass on all of your good wishes.

mrsboogie · 27/08/2009 22:32

congrats again neddie and lovely names!

thanks for the updates plumprump

my, we do choose nice names on this thread...

FloriaTosca · 27/08/2009 22:55

Wow more wonderful baby news!
Congratulations Neddie on Oscar and Cerys (I love the names too)what fantastic weights for twins, no wonder you were having mobility probs!(hopefully the ankles will have returned to normal already)
and thank you so much plumprump for letting us know. I hope both Neddie and Duchesse recover from their cs's quickly and all three birthday sharing los are thriving.

Tee2072 · 28/08/2009 07:13

Morning all.

Well, he slept from 2030 to 0400, so not as great as the night before, but not too shabby for DH!

Definitely off to see the girls at my office today. I cancelled last week due to extreme exhaustion, but I feel good today! The weather even seems okay!

I hope everyone has a lovely day!

FloriaTosca · 28/08/2009 08:04

Tee I think that was pretty spectacular for such a little one. Have a lovely meet up with the girls.
Dh went to pick up the 'quadro' last night (to save me the trip today)taking A. with him. A. fell asleep in the car from 5.30-7.00so we thought we were in for a bad night but he actually asked for bed at 8.00 and went down really easily..came into our room for bf at 1.30, took himself back to bed and didn't wake until 6.00! (dh still grumbled that it was an hour too early) but I'm very happy...I just wonder if it will be another 23 months before he sleeps so well again.

dawntigga · 28/08/2009 08:16

How great is that! Neddies tummy does good work! My little man was only nearly 6lb!!!!

MuchRespectToTheNeddieTiggaxx

mrsboogie · 28/08/2009 09:54

floria at some point he has to start sleeping through!

There's no rhyme or reason to D's sleeping sometimes he sleeps through other times he doesn't.

Not a good night last night D is coming down with yet another cold and is teething madly - chewing fingers dribbling and snottering and very very whingy and grumpy. Had to happen of course - its a Bank Hol and we have people staying for the weekend

I am off today to do some painting/housework so he is gone to his grandma's for a couple of hours so that I can get on.

a shite day here - grey and miserable and pissing it down.

ermintrude13 · 28/08/2009 10:03

Tee, those are the exact times that Arthur slept! (well 3.58 but near as dammit) and I was thrilled. A 20 min feed, then another sleep til 7. Happy for this to continue, preferably with the morning wake getting later and later... He was feeding constantly for about an hour and a half before the big sleep so must have had a good full tum.

Grey and horrid here, just right for snuggling up with new babies. A woman I don't know v well but has a DS in my DS's school had a wee boy 6 wks ago so I've invited her round with her older 2 for a cuppa - must start making those baby links.

Hope the bank hol weather picks up for everyone

BonzoDoodah · 28/08/2009 12:16

hi all back from a very wet island in Wales. Had a lovely time with my sister and her children. Sad to come home. It rained and rained but we had a good gossip and visited the beach and didn't get hypothermia so a win situation I think.

Wonderful news for Duchesse and Neddie - all on the same day - woo hoo! And all safe. Just hope Duchette is out of the special care thingie soon.

We're off to register baby G today. Then I may try and persuade hubby that we NEED to go into Manchester to our favourite curry cafe then nip into Bravissimo for a nice nursing bra (pref one without sick on it ).

jeanjeannie · 28/08/2009 13:52

Cor is it that time already???

Girls are asleep so time for a quick post.

bonzo glad you had a lovely time in wet wales at least you didn't get sunstroke. I think you need to go to Manchester for that curry too!

mrsB enjoy your painting.

We had a bad night last night - Iris was up wailing for hours - DP went in with her and it was just before 6 that she fell asleep - only to have to get up again an hour later to get to nursery. We're shattered.

floria I hope it wasn't a fluke and you can start getting some sleep.

Where's jw???? Cooooo Eeeeeeee

Just had MIL look after Verity for a few hours so I skipped into Marlow and went to SpaceNK...eeek, I have sinned. I bought some nice foundation - well, it was needed as the last stuff I got was back in 2005

Hope duchesse and neddie are recovering well and enjoying their LOS. Come in with the name please duchesse
