Total grey day there this afternoon, although it was lovely when we were out earlier. DH agrees that A sounds like he's saying 'mama' when he cries sometimes. I wish!!!

duchesse anything?!?

Tee2072 · 22/08/2009 20:24

Did everyone go to bed early?

iris66 · 22/08/2009 20:55

Wish I was in bed Tee - so little time to even catch up these days! Her ladyship has been on feed/grumble/wind from 6-midnight lately nights so I'm getting the square root of nothing done in the evenings Luckily DD1's home at the mo and being very helpful

Neddie - hope this is kick off for you. You must be knackered! I've never known anyone having twins to go to term. DD2 is looking very coppery of hair so we now have all hair colours (except black) in our house.

Tee2072 · 22/08/2009 20:59

iris last night A wouldn't go to sleep. Tonight? He's been asleep since 8!!

mrsboogie · 22/08/2009 21:00

'ere where's jj got to today?

its been very quiet on here all day, where is everyone?

duchesse · 22/08/2009 21:08

johnworf · 22/08/2009 21:23

johnworf · 22/08/2009 21:30

I'm here btw. Just knackered and been reading this evening. I hardly watch tv these days. DH was watching X Factor which I avoid.

Plan for the rest of the evening is a cup of tea and a cheeky chocolate digestive before bed.

Where is JJ now you mention it mrsb???

mrsboogie · 22/08/2009 21:31

I'll get the err......pineapple

mrsboogie · 22/08/2009 21:38

its not like her to be missing jw

Tee2072 · 22/08/2009 21:40

Yeah, where is JJ?

I am off to bed very soon. Having the 'do I change him into his PJs and make sure he's got a clean nappy or do I let him just sleep' debate with myself at the moment...

mrsboogie · 22/08/2009 21:47

let him sleep would always be my answer...

duchesse · 22/08/2009 21:47

Also done all those, ladies... This baby will come when it's ready, I suppose. grrrr

Tee2072 · 22/08/2009 21:50

I am leaning that way as well mrsb if I can move him from his pram, where he's asleep, into his Amby without waking him!!

mrsboogie · 22/08/2009 21:53

D never sleeps in his buggy for longer than ten minutes once we are indoors.

jeanjeannie · 22/08/2009 21:57

runs in panting ....I'm here! Just!

Went out this morning to get DP a suit - OMG he got the most gorgeous one (almost slipped the woman a fiver to take the girls out for a walk and leave us to it he looked that good

Then, as the weather was lovely we skipped off to Oxford to the museum of Modern art - the girls did drawings and Verity also bum-shuffled around the paintings and installations. We just walked through the streets, admiring the spires did coffee, cake and a Mexican and came home about an hour ago. Nice day.

duchesse yep, sex next!

neddie almost there...I thinks you may both pop on the same day Oooo, a double win on the sweepstake!

As for ginger - well, there's me AND both girls! DP has gingery bits in his hair. It's only the cat that's escaped!

BED! Tired and have cramp in my foot.

mrsboogie · 22/08/2009 23:42

Nothing I can say can top waters going........
.........JJ glad you had a nice day and that your OH is still the stud muffin you fell for (awwwwwwww) I wonder if Brian Sewell would approve of bum shuffling around a gallery? Oh well, I'm sure that Verity couldn't care less either way

Tee2072 · 23/08/2009 09:27

Morning all.

Whoohoo duchesse lots of luck and keep us posted!

Well, that was an interesting night. Asleep around 2000. Woke up at 0100. Ate some, fell back to sleep at 0130. Mummy wide awake, so cuddled him until 0200. Back awake at 0430. Would.not.settle. back down. Mummy looked at him at 0515, lying in his Amby singing to himself and said 'well, I can wake daddy in 45 minutes.' Next thing I knew, it was 0730 and DH was sticking his head in to see if we were still alive!! A finally woke up at 0800.

Our laptop has officially gone pear shaped, so off to buy a new one today.

Have a lovely day all!

jeanjeannie · 23/08/2009 09:57

HUURRRRAYY!!!!!!!!!! Oooooo....OOOoooooo duchesse how exciting!! DO you think she's had it yet? I hear quick, easy labours are all the rage these days! Keep us posted!

tee I like the idea of A singing in his Amby! I woke to hearing Verity saying "ready, steady ...GO" Where she thought she was going I've no idea! She had got her leg stuck through one of the bars so perhaps she was trying to motivate it out of the gap!

Off out this morning but my foot is all bandgaged up the instep pain is hideous. Think I've been wearing my crocks too long. Oh, that could be an excuse for a new pair of shoes See you all later!

duchesse · 23/08/2009 10:00

Alas I have not even gone into labour yet...

BonzoDoodah · 23/08/2009 11:33

Drat Duchesse just as we were getting excited ... still something is happening ... fingers crossed!

I've been having a nightmare time - yesterday baby G would not be put down. Fed 5 mins then fussed then fed then fussed ... or fell asleep on the boob but woke as soon as I put him down ... then fed ... then fussed ... ALL DAY! By 9pm I was ready to throw him out of the window. Really hard - really tired, can't take another day like that. Plus his night sleeping has been crap - the other night he was awake 3-5am then 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzz soooooooo tired. When does it start getting better??????

Hubby went to see Elbow and U2 in Sheffield on Thursday - lucky sod (his birthday present - I would have LOVED to have gone but no chance with baby). He said it was brilliant.

And MIL has gone home after 2 weeks of au pair services. I am going to miss her SO much - so was a brilliant help. wonderful. Now hubby is back at work and she's gone. Eeek. Still ... M is in nursery tomorrow and then Monday night I'm taking the two sprogs to our caravan on Anglesey for a few days with my sister and her kids. Fingers crossed for some good weather!

jj I thought that dress was lovely! The kind of thing I'd love to wear when my flob has gone.

Neddie gettting closer - exciting!!! Hope you have the tin-opener handy

duchesse · 23/08/2009 11:34
