too much time given over to worrying
puking down yourself whilst driving to work (perhaps that was only me)
complete inability to concentrate on anything important
constant need to pee
constant need to eat
constant need to sleep
constant need to puke, and worry about where you're going to do it
going off chocolate, bread, cereal
feeling ill from the smell of deoderant, perfume, cooking
waddling
the fact you're not allowed to lift anything

(maybe I'll do it again one day...)

Couldn't cope again with doctors talking to me as if I don't have a brain just cos I'm pregnant...

the extra 2 stone weight left behind after my second

mum2toby · 09/04/2003 13:41

Phillipat - the constant need to eat is a good thing is it not???

Keep going folks... the bad bits are flooding back... still want another though!

Flippa · 09/04/2003 13:45

Rib pain
Spending a fortune on large bottles of Gaviscon which I had to lug around in my handbag
People starting at me as if I was a mutant in the gym
Worrying over not feeling movement
Carrying around urine samples in my bag for the midwives

Philippat · 09/04/2003 13:45

only if your useless pregnant body will let you eat something other than sausage rolls without immediately puking it up again... I used to dread eating... lost a lot of weight, mind you.

Philippat · 09/04/2003 13:48

midwives taking pints and pints of your blood (well it felt like it)
finding suitable pots to pee in (and carry to work for most of the day before your appointment) when the midwife had forgotton to give you another tube thing
Being constantly kicked in the ribs/cervix/lungs
crying at sentimental songs on Terry Wogan and adverts

Metrobaby · 09/04/2003 13:50

not being able to get into a comfy position when sleeping

waking up constantly during the night to pee

people automatically putting their hands on your bump to feel (without asking)

walking with non-preg people - and not keeping up !

Seeing people on the train/tube/bus, hide behind their books or papers pretending they didn't see you so they don't have to give up their seat.

iota · 09/04/2003 13:50

how about trying to pee in the tube thing - or is it just me who's messy?
