Faint line appeared on the pregnancy test - am I pregnant??

Hi,
I've been feeling a bit 'off' for a few days so I decided to do a pregnancy test this morning. I've been pregnant before and these symptoms are very similar (I've also felt preg before but not been!).
Anyway I did a test when i woke up and after a few mins it was negative but I didnt study it for long as I was tired and went back to sleep! Well when I woke up about half an hour later there was a very faint line on the test. I know that you shouldn't read the test after a certain length of time but I've done many tests over the years and this hasn't happened before.
If I have conceived it's just about two weeks ago when it could have happened (wink) so this is the earliest it would show.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hi! I didn't had time to go and buy a First Response because I had bookings at the salon from 8 am.. I had some tests from asda at home and did one when I woke up and turned out with a strange line after 2 mins. I am still late and I don't have any signs that I will be getting my period soon. I have no idea what to think but I suppose if i was pregnant the tests should be positive by now..

Alright so I didn't managed to buy a first response yet, but tried again with the asda one.. I am even more confused!! Haha! The line appeared in 1-2 mins then disappeared after 10 or so.. Now it's not visible at all!

Looks negative Hun sorry, possibly an Evaporation line. If your a few days late your tests will be showing positive by now. Wait a few days and maybe see your Doctor.

Shelley, the pregnancy test should have come with instructions. Two lines generally means positive.

Hello, I took a preg test yday and had a faint line so I took another test to be sure and that one also had a faint line (positive line). later on I took another test and that one was neg :/ I'm 7 days late and I'm usually early and bleed few days before but haven't had nothing:/ the last week I've been feeling yucky on and off, going loo alot more, also I've had snot like but it was clear / white and watery and milky discharge any ideas/advice would be appreciated :)

Those are positives, congratulations. The negative was most likely because you took the test later in the day. First morning urine has the highest concentration of pregnancy hormone.

I've had a very similar situation. I am now 3 days late and no sign of AF. Did a PT yesterday and there was a pencil thin line . Did 3 others today, the first one I did today has 2 lines but I'm not sure if one of them is a water line or not? Can someone help! Attached the photo of the first one I took today. Any advice would be appreciated

Isn't that green bit meant to fill up to confirm there was enough urine to test? I can't really see anything unfortunately.

Hi my name is Chloe and I have been feel off for a few days I woke up and did a test and I saw 2 lines so after I made a cuppa tea and drank some water and RE tried a test to double check it had too lines. I was thinking maybe it could be the test as its a cheap one so I went to spar aND brought another one done it and it came back negative could it be my hcg level as I went to the toilet 3 times xxx

Chloe your test is positive, congratulations. The later one was probably less sensitive or your wee was more diluted. You can try again in a couple of days to confirm.

It's best to start a new thread though rather than adding your post to an old one, this thread was started in 2005 (!) the baby in the first post must be at senior school by now....
