Faint line appeared on the pregnancy test - am I pregnant??

Hi,
I've been feeling a bit 'off' for a few days so I decided to do a pregnancy test this morning. I've been pregnant before and these symptoms are very similar (I've also felt preg before but not been!).
Anyway I did a test when i woke up and after a few mins it was negative but I didnt study it for long as I was tired and went back to sleep! Well when I woke up about half an hour later there was a very faint line on the test. I know that you shouldn't read the test after a certain length of time but I've done many tests over the years and this hasn't happened before.
If I have conceived it's just about two weeks ago when it could have happened (wink) so this is the earliest it would show.
Any advice would be most appreciated.

last time i was pregnant i didnt get a clear positive till i was 5weeks pregnant
its so frustrating that the test are still not giving me a clear result im now 3weeks overdue for my period, i feel pregnant but i dont want to get my hopes up.
hopefully i shall get a clear result next time i test

hi girls, i tested again today using first morning urine... yet again negative and still no period. its so frustrating i just want to know a deffinate yes or no. last time i found out i was pregnant i was testing for four weeks and on the fifth week i got a positive i later found out i was 6weeks pregnant. am i just paranoid?

That must be really frustrating :( Given your experience last time I think you might be best to test again in a week, and again a week after that if still BFN and no period. Unless you can get to the GP and have a blood test? I'm not sure if the blood test is more sensitive, but it might be worth a try.

yeah im going to test on friday then next friday if its negative i feel pregnant i feel as though i know i am its the negative test thats making me doubt how my body is feeling.
from my last experiance i think i am i hope i am also. we shall see and ill keep u girls posted on everything. thanks again really helpfull comment Smile

Hi ladies I'm totally new to this. I had my implant out last month and had my first period as normal. We have been tc but not like rampant rabbits or anything. Anyway 3 days ago I did a cheap dip test and got a faint positive.... Am now late by 2 days and did another cheap dip test (different make/pack) it again gave a faint line. Slightly more clear but still what I would say as faint. I did them both late afternoon and I know that morning is better but I couldn't wait....... Does the fact am using cheap dip tests make it likely that I'm getting up false hope?? Has anyone had false results with cheap tests??

My DD is nearly 7!!
I'm TTC, my cycle is about 30 days long. It's now 38 days since last period... got a vvvv faint line on a 10miu (or whatever units it is!) dip test this morning, then a neg on a 'Quickview' 25 sensitivity test.
I feel pregnant, nausea every day mid afternoon, dizziness.
But I wonder if I'm imagining this? Should I fork out for a digital test? Anyone had a false neg on one of those?
I'm too scared to get a negative!

Hezanywhere I had false negatives with the cheap tests 7 Y ago when preg with DD, think it was a bit early though about 5 weeks pg.
Came up BFP a week later though. Grin

Yes. You have just tested early so hormone levels are weaker. Try again in 2 days and it should be a lot stronger!!

Iv done a clear blue digital test and it says am 2-3 weeks pregnant - thank god for technology and science - still in shock tbh but my other half is beeming :-D xx

plz plzz guide me... my periods are almost 9 days late (usually 1 week late is maximum for me) last night i did hcg strip test and it showed a v v v faint line within 3 to 4 min of test.. i repeat another test with first morning urine and again happened same thing ... am i pregnant ? or should i repeat it again?

elsa a line is a line so it sounds like you are preg? Can you post a pic? How many dpo are you?

Ladies I need your advice im due sat 11th oct but ive felt preg for while did 1st test week n half ago n was negative did a test yesterday got a faint line did a nuva this morn and got a darker but faint line im soo confused n have no patience pls help what should I do ?? X

Heya ladies really need some help, so I was meant to come on my period on the 16th but it never came so I waiting and then it still didn't come so took a preg test on the morning of 19th and it was negative. Went out shopping for hours so on the night went for a bath and put something in bin and noticed their was another line faint line but to much sure it wasn't just me seeing it I asked my partner and he said there defo is a faint line but I don't know what to think of it. Ideas ladies

Hi ladies! I need some help.. I am reading this forum for a few hours now, but I am meeega confused! I am 6 days late (usually It's exactly on time, not even -+1 day) and Yesterday I took a Clear Blue test and it came up with a very very very faint line (am I the only one seeing it?!?) .. What do you think? Is that line only in my head?!? Haha :) thanks! Good luck everyone x
