The old thread was getting impossibly slow on my computer, so decided that it was time to create a new one with hopefully Rah and Ready joining us, and with a whole new due date list.....

so MrsM, Momwi - come and start the list and hopefully Rah and Ready will come here now too!!!!!

I am so excited that the temp buddies are back together again, can you tell?!?!?!?

Oh Chooster what a tough time. My Mum always says accidents come out of nothing. I can see why dh might feel bad but he did the right thing having him checked out and I hope he gets a big family hug xxx My brother was unconscious in A&E from a swimming pool head injury and I remember only to well my parents faces. Big ice pack heading your way xxx

Ready how are you doing? Due in July wow where has the time gone? You are hopefully excited, probably a bit hot and fed up.... ready! Did you find a nightie. I ended up buying light cotton sleeveless tops/dresses from M&S as it was hot in Aug last year but for they were too slinky for dresses so doubled up as nightweat. Be prepared to throw away any birth garments and save the nice stuff for when you get home! How is dh doing at the end of the season? Tell him our ds enjoyed the win on Sat in his CFC babygrow ;0)

MrsMC pregnant as well how exciting. Como estas in espangna? (that's my lingual limit) although my best friend is half Spanish so maybe I can muster up a better translation :0)
How is Xavier enjoying his new life abroad?

and LondonLottie what a lot on your plate. A lot to take in so anything you need just shout. Have you contacted Tamba? They could be a good source of support. Cool pics. I work with Zurich all week and they are lovely people and by all accounts its very clean and beautiful out there with good health facilities.

IamMummy sorry to hear about your accident. How are you getting on now?

Bodkin a stained glass blog wow! Love serves you right and Good Husband are great I forwarded them to dh!

Fettle how have the ear tests worked out. Dh is facing possible ear surgery and one of the babies at swimming had a perforated ear drum which highlighted how difficult it can be to work out what is going on internally. Big hugs.

Hi Greedy are you all re-united again?

good luck RahRah are you next?

I am so running out of time and sure to have missed people.... :0(

Today has been an emotional day... ds turned 10 months, I gave up breastfeeding (once a day), I got the all clear from a post op biopsy/smear (as expected) and was about to celebrate but saddly my Granny passed away in the early hours :0( time for bed me thinks... hugs to everyone xxx city

greedygreedyguzzler · 02/06/2009 21:43

cityangel - you seem such a sweetheart! what a lovely post............you might not do it often, but its good when you do!!! sorry about your granny. i remember feeling so sorry for ready when you finally got your bfp that her and 3cats were left behind on your little thread you had going, and now its hard to believe that ready is almost a mummy too! whats happening with 3cats? i might have to stalk her a bit!

hiya everyone else.
i'm home alone and scared tonight!

fettle · 02/06/2009 22:08

greedy. You're not watching crimewatch are you? Don't do it alone!!

City great to hear from you. Sorry about your granny.

Chooster hope theo ok and doesn't scar too prominantly. I'm amazed that we've not had stitches in toby before now. You can't watch them all the time or wrap them in cotton wool (although I was tempted by those baby crash helmets in the apprentice the other wk!!!

Got my course tom so no time to catch up properly. Big waves to all. Hopefully get back on tom.

cityangel · 03/06/2009 00:12

Hey Greedy I miss 3catstoo... it was great to catch up but hard to keep our thread going and posting about ds in the conception topic.

I am always hopeful to find enough time to post properly but sadly that luxury is gone now. Are you still spooked? Big spooky refelctor things coming your way.

iamamummy · 04/06/2009 10:38

WOW LOTTIE!! huge congrats! twins must be a bit of a shocker especially with everything going on in your life at the moment but you will be fine, as everyone says on here you come across as such a strong and confident woman - you can do anything! how far along are you now?

chooster - what an ordeal you have gone through! how is ds now? that is my worse fear with ds especially now he is into climbing i turn my back for 2 seconds and he is climbing up his high chair! scary stuff! funny you ask about herbie, we have had such negative response for his name choice (me and dp love it) only a few people have said they like it where as with oscar everyone loved the name so always referred to him as "oscar" whereas herbie is still being called "it/him" by most so i actually find myself saying it too. i think people are hoping we are going to change it last minute - but we wont!

city - lovely to hear from you! so sorry to hear about your granny sending huge hugs your way. cant believe your ds is 10 months already, the baby stage certainly doesnt last long does it?

fettle - make the most of the 2 weeks you have with dh. i hope you get to spend some nice romantic evenings together before he goes away. what is it he does for work again? yes i am working nights its definatly starting to take its toll though as i am getting bigger and more uncomfortable and tired but i plan to go on ML by end of july so will have a couple of months rest before ds2 arrives.

ready - your nursery sounds fab! we got ds a zoo type cot mobile and bumper and quilt set from babies r us, the mobile has elephants and giraffes on.

greedy - how was your spooky night alone?

mrs - how are you feeling? how is Xavier reacting to your bump? do you think he understands slightly what is happening? oscar always rubs and kisses my bump and when we sit and cuddle he always keeps his hand on it, he also calls it herbie too which is so sweet!

hello to everyone else honey, seaside and bodkin!!

all ok here, saw the midwife today and all is well. i am off to a birthing again group this afternoon to try and get some confidence back about giving birth again. i have only just got my car back on the road but the damn hire company i went into (it was a low impact crash and my car just crumbled in comparison to a few scratches on the bumper and cracked reflector on the other van) said they want to settle outside insurance which was fine by us as the damage cost was literally only £100, but now they are trying to claim for dented door, paintwork scratches and some other ludicrous stuff which even the driver said was there when he hired the van. i have battled and battled and oddly cant get hold of the driver anymore so we are going through insurance and just pre warned them that the hire company are ripping them off, what else can you do?

love to all xx

rainbowdays · 04/06/2009 10:43

Sorry I have not been in recently here, I am in a limbo-land at the moment, possible m/c. Fearing the worst, hoping for the best, will find out next Tuesday.

Ready · 04/06/2009 12:16

Hi ladies.

City I am so sorry to hear about your granny, it is always hard. Hope you are doing ok? It is good news about your all clear, so pleased for you.
I have opted for vests and joggers at the moment, unless I see something else particularly fetching - I have a scruffy old nightshirt for the labour though.

Rainbow I am sorry to hear that you are in limbo land Take care of yourself and I really hope it all works out ok.

Iamamummy, yes I have seen that mobile, it is lovely, but since it is blue we can't really go for it.
Sorry about your insurance problems - hope they are sorted soon.

Fettle, how is your course going? If I was closer I would definitely be a guinea pig

Chooster, OMG how awful, I bet your DH is feeling so guilty. A friend of mine's DH fell down the stairs with their DD and she cracked her shoulder, he was so upset. Accidents do happen though. Hope all is well today.

How is everyone doing??

I am a bit blue here the baby has turned breech again, honestly, I shouldn't be surprised because they are always on the move. The midwife said not to worry as there was still plenty of room in there and when I see her in 2 weeks (at 36+6) she will see if baby is still breech. If so I will have to go for a scan to confirm. I am now terrified that they are not going to turn and something bad will happen I guess it is just hormones, but I couldn't stop crying yesterday.

honeyapple · 04/06/2009 12:55

hiya

rainbow- big hugs hope everything is fine.

Ready- dont worry yet about babe being breech just yet- still time to turn- in the meantime, try crawling around your house on all fours and doing the dromidary droop . Alternatively get yourself to a swimming pool and do handstands in the water... ok maybe not! What is your hospital's policy on breech births? Do they routinely do C-sections?

Iam- i like the name herbie! I'm sure your family will come round to the name when he is here .

hi to everyone else
x

Chooster · 04/06/2009 13:04

Sorry to hear about the breech situation ready - really hope the baby shifts back again. Are you trying all the tips to prompt turning? I never had to do them but there things you can do encourage the little one into the right position. And you can still have a natural labour can't you if the baby is breech? At least you are on mat leave now so you can get stuck into internet research .

Sorry you've got come concerns rainbow - Its not long til the scan so hopefully you'll get the re-assurance you need.

I like Herbie Iamamummy - I think it goes well with Oscar and sounds very cute! It makes me think of a very cheeky cute little boy . It is unusual though so it wont be everyone's favourite, but stick to your guns . Not everyone likes Theo but we like it and it suits him . Sorry about your crash hassles - thats a pain in the neck when it could be solved so easily.

Right need to get back to work [boo...] Thanks to everyone for your kind words on Theo - honestly you wouldn't even know he had hurt himself, he's his usual cheeky dare-devil self. When I ask him if his head is sore he points to the wrong place so I dont think he's bothered .

rainbowdays · 05/06/2009 08:43

I just wanted to let you know that my hpts are now lighter than previously, so it looks like I have indeed m/c'd. Sorry not feeling very chatty at the moment as you can imagine.

OP posts:
Ready · 05/06/2009 17:21

Rainbow, big hugs sweetie, I hope that it is not a m/c. Rest lots and look after yourself. Take care. Thinking of you. xxx

Chooster and Honey, thanks for the comfort over the breech situation. I am trying not to worry. Still time to turn again. I have indeed been on all fours - very attractive at this stage in pregnancy. Time will tell.

xxx

iamamummy · 05/06/2009 20:07

rainbow - sending you huge hugs xxx i am so so sorry to hear that you are going through this again, i hope the outcome is a positive one for you. thinking of you xxxx

Chooster · 06/06/2009 21:32

So sorry Rainbow - really sorry to hear this may be happening again. Let us know how you get on - sending big hugs your way. xx

rainbowdays · 06/06/2009 23:25

Well I am an emotional mess, and a fat-pig from comfort eating and bloating. I just want to have the scan result now, not wait the eternity of the next 3 days. Pregnacy hormones are sending me crazy. Please ignore this self-centred stupid post.

OP posts:
fettle · 07/06/2009 08:21

seaside72 · 08/06/2009 09:23

Just a quickie to say - thinking of you sending lots of love rainbow xxxx
Keeping everything crossed {{{hugs}}}

and at having to wait 3 days for scan results?

greedygreedyguzzler · 08/06/2009 16:36

rainbowdays - your scan is tomorrow isn't it? best of luck..........i really really have everything crossed for you.

greedygreedyguzzler · 08/06/2009 16:40

hi rainbow - just been reading your posts on other threads and wanted to say sorry. you seem quite sure that you have miscarried so i hope i wasn't too insensitive.

rainbowdays · 08/06/2009 17:15

Thank you, yes my scan is tomorrow, I am 90% sure I have miscarried, but just can't seem to let go of that 10% hope that maybe, just maybe a miracle has happened and I still have a baby with me. Please anyone who prays please do so for me.

OP posts:
Chooster · 08/06/2009 21:13

I really hope that 10% chance comes true rainbow - good luck tomorrow and let us know how you get on.

rainbowdays · 09/06/2009 15:45

I am still in limbo land with no real knowledge of what is going on. I had a scan today, done by a useless doctor as the sonographer was unavailable, she supposedly measured the sac at 5w2d, last week it was 6w1d, so helpfully suggests I "probrably" will miscarry soon, SO, no I have not yet miscarried dispite all the cramps and bright red bleeding. NOW they are thinking I might also have an ectopic going on, so blood tests today and more in 48hours.

OP posts:
iamamummy · 09/06/2009 18:48

rainbow all i can say is how sorry and sad i feel for you going through all of this. i hope the medics buck up and stop making you wait around and prolonging this tradgedy. thinking of you xxxxxxxx

fettle · 10/06/2009 22:36

How you doing Rainbow? Thinking of you.
xxx

greedygreedyguzzler · 11/06/2009 18:03

any news rainbow?

Chooster · 11/06/2009 21:29

Hi all,
She may not be on for a while but just a bit of news that MrsMc has had her baby - Aaliyah Rosemary was born yesterday at 11.12am. . Apparently very fast labour and she was born at home and MrMac (DH) was the one who delivered her . I know nothing more but thought I would share the update .
