bubblagirl · 08/07/2008 13:58

yes ds was flipper

Notyummy · 08/07/2008 14:08

dd was 'The Mango', as at the scans we had, the staff kept on refering to the size of the baby in comparison to fruit! I realised at a point later on that watermelon size had probably been reached....but the thought of birthing a mango was more acheivable

Sadly for my fanjo, she was more a prize marrow size in the end ....

Bump was called 'Boo' as It was an unexpected pregnancy and I was going to call her after a female character in 'To Kill a Mockingbird' (Harper-lee or Maudie)

But Boo turned out to be a Boy Boo and his name has nothing to do with TKAMB... C'est la vie!

notcitrus · 08/07/2008 14:13

From the 14-week scan, Foxy or Squirrel (looked like a small animal with a big fluffy tail), but from 17 weeks onwards he's been Squirmy, for obvious reasons.

My SIL's was known as Thumpy Fetus McBloodAxe during the last month...

LenniEd · 08/07/2008 14:22

DH called DD 'Depressed Wardrobe Cheesecake' (or DWC for short) whilst she was in utero after reading an article on the most ridiculous names people had named their children.

eggandketchup · 08/07/2008 14:30

At first Elvis, had a cold with a cough so DD was rocked rattled and rolled around every time i had a coughing fit.

Then became wiggles still is as she still wigglesw alot in her sleep.

GirlWithTheMouseyHair · 08/07/2008 14:36

spudlet cos at 9 week scan it looked like a knobbly king edward, and it's my baking project

jollydo · 08/07/2008 14:46

Another 'bean' here for ds1. Then 'pea' for ds2.

Ponymum · 08/07/2008 15:18

Beeny to start with.
Now (30 weeks) called Kicker Squirmy-Wriggle.

ellideb · 08/07/2008 16:39

Big Boots!

barbareebaa · 08/07/2008 18:08

fish!

DH comes home from work and always asks me how the little fish has been!

It's becoming a rather big fish now though

fruitstick · 08/07/2008 18:13

first one was called Wilbur

this one is called Cuthbert

Flumpybumpy · 08/07/2008 18:20

DD & DS were both Flump and this one is too, hence my name flumpybumpy!!!

Millsie1 · 08/07/2008 18:21

The Sprout for the first 7 months. Now Sprouticus Maximus.

wa11ace · 08/07/2008 18:45

DD 1 was bert- don't ask where it came from, but I couldn't face calling her "it" for 9 months! Funny but in my head bert and DD are 2 completely different people now, mainly I think because I was convinced she was a boy!!

DD 2 was titch, as my bump was sooo small, for so long. Still call her titch now, even though she's up on the 75th centile on the graph thingy!!!

fizz68 · 08/07/2008 19:08

Both my babies were known as Englebert - as were me and my sister. It's such a stupid name, there's no danger of it sticking once baby's here.

McDreamy · 08/07/2008 19:09

Elvis Moonbeam

TheMuppetMuggle · 08/07/2008 19:11

DD was bean, her nickname is still bean

pelvicflawed · 08/07/2008 19:58

Ds was peanut (in honour of the beloved peanut butter I couldn't eat!!). DC2 is walnut - we're nut loving veggies so there is a bit of a theme going on!!!

Bewilderbeast · 08/07/2008 19:59

Ds was charlie when he was a bump, he is not charlie now

LauraT · 08/07/2008 20:32

Bumpo. imaginative, yet strangely catchy!

lovebeingmummy · 08/07/2008 20:35

Lo was called Egg, dont know why. Then when we found out she was a dd at the 12 week scan we called her egglet, and we do still call her that now and again xx

MummyLovesPrams · 08/07/2008 20:37

DD was Noodle!

This one was Jelly Bean or JB for short & then became Little Man after the sexing scan

Xx

elijahblue · 08/07/2008 21:05

hoff · 08/07/2008 21:27
