Hi everyone! Hope I’m not the only one with early testing impatience🤣I’ve tested positive (I hope!) for a day or two now, currently 9DPO. Due date would be June 2nd based on LMP if all goes okay.

I’m 25 with an almost 4yo son but this will be my partners first child. We conceived in April straight after I got my coil removed but unfortunately at a private scan we found out at 7 weeks I was having a missed miscarriage (blighted ovum) and I’ve had two surgeries to remove the tissue between June and July. This was my first cycle since the loss and I’m so unbelievably grateful to have gotten pregnant again but also terrified about it not lasting which sucks because I was sooo excited last time but I guess that’s what happens after a loss.

anyways I hope some more of you are at the same stage as me with early positives and we can be in this together!

I’ll tentatively join! My flo/premom apps are saying I’m 4 weeks today and due 1st June. I also found out very early bc I tested 5 days before my period was due.

I’m sorry to hear about your previous loss @CW2211, crossing all my fingers that this time will be different! This is my first ever pregnancy (we also started TTC in April) so I am very excited but sadly know several friends who have had early miscarriages so I’m anxious about letting myself be too excited. Hugs for both of us!

CW2211 · 21/09/2026 12:10

@swayingstreetlamp congratulations! It’s impossible to wait as long as we should to test. I was testing this time from 7dpo but swear I saw a super faint line that early which doesn’t seem possible🤣

Thank youā¤ļøI’m really hoping we get our rainbow baby next summer happy and healthyšŸ¤žšŸ»I was so excited for my previous pregnancy and crocheted baby stuff and everything before we had our 7 week private scan - I don’t think that’s necessarily wrong but it makes it harder now to feel as excited after what we’ve been through but I’ve got a 6 week scan booked in three weeks today at the hospital and hopefully that goes well and we can breathe a bit!

How did your partner react if you’ve told them yet?

Hi everyone! also tentatively joining with a strong line at 13dpo - due date would be 2nd June as well! 4 weeks tomorrow according to premom

This is my 3rd pregnancy is 4 months (2 chemical pregnancies) with the last one being last month, I did NOT expect to fall pregnant so fast but SOOOO grateful to have another opportunity, praying for a sticky baby and a healthy pregnancy x Congrats to you all x

cantquiteknityet · 22/09/2026 17:30

Hiii! Nice to connect with you all!

I’m 31st/1st so feel a long way behind the May group!
I had spotting on CD25 and thought my period arrived the following day, but it stopped again after that. Tested on Friday which would have been 11dpo and saw a ghost of a line

Decided it was an old dodgy test and couldn’t be right as it’s only month one of trying for the first time, and I’m 36 with a short luteal phase so was convinced it wasn’t going to happen easily. Went to test again in the evening but realised there was only one test left not several so left it til the morning and ordered more tests to come!

Feint line in the morning, still don’t believe it’s possible. New ones arrived on the evening - the first one teased me by not even working but then positive positive positive (and every day since ha)

Still freaking out but do just about believe this is happening!

CW2211 · 22/09/2026 19:50

Ahhh congratulations @Oggychapsand @cantquiteknityet!! So glad to have a few more here as the May groups are so much further along aren’t they.

So sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancies @Oggychaps, it’s devastating no matter when you lose a pregnancy but I’ve found since my MMC in June that people tend to ā€˜forget’ about it or not feel as much for you when it happens early😢praying we both get a rainbow come June 🌈

Oggychaps · 22/09/2026 20:21

@CW2211completely agree! Still counts! Me too, come on rainbow babies! 🌈

I’ve been heavily emotional and bloated and swollen and sore boobs but other than that nothing crazy going on, anyone else?

CW2211 · 22/09/2026 20:34

My boobs have been so sore too! Had a few days of nausea leading up to and including the first day or two of testing positive but I know there’s more of that to come by week 6 if its anything like the last time - I had to whip out the sickness bandsšŸ˜…I feel like I’ve already had some ā€˜pregnancy brain’ moments which I don’t actually remember happening last time so hoping that may be a good signšŸ¤ž

Hey I’d love to join if that’s okay! I got my positive this morning at 11dpo- due 4th June according to chat gpt! Hope you’re all doing well!

CW2211 · 22/09/2026 21:54

Welcome @PinkPeony92and congratulations! I’m 11dpo today as well but due June 2nd based off my period dates. Is this your first? :)

PinkPeony92 · 23/09/2026 06:38

Thankyou @CW2211!! huge congratulations to you as well! Yes it’s my first so will need tips from you haha! Finding it hard not to tell anyone (except partner) as so excited!

CW2211 · 23/09/2026 07:08

Thank you! Oh that’s so exciting, one of my biggest tips maybe for in a few weeks if you don’t want to get ahead of yourself, is to set up an Amazon baby wishlist with everything you think you’ll need/want for you and baby. It was a godsend for my first and if anyone ever wanted to buy us a gift we could just send them the link to that and it checks off automatically what’s already been bought so you don’t get duplicates of anything!

its soooo hard not to tell people! I think it’s silly to wait the whole 12 weeks if you feel comfortable telling certain people earlier as if anything was to happen the support is hugely needed and if not then it’s just more people to share the excitement with you!

ahh it’s such an exciting but also apprehensive time isn’t it?

I told my partner the minute I got my first very faint line - to be honest he was mainly skeptical that it was really a line because it was so faint!! But then as I kept testing we both got more excited.

I’m trying to enjoy the excitement now and not let myself worry - I’m hyper aware of my body and symptoms and feel like I’m suddenly imagining twinges everywhere! Symptoms wise I’ve been really tired, had a bit of back ache and boob pain and also a bit constipated. It’s mad how something so tiny can have so many effects on your body!!

CW2211 · 23/09/2026 11:50

@swayingstreetlampits a nightmare when partners can’t see the line that we can! Last time it took a few days for mine to admit that there was something there, I thought I was going crazy. This time luckily I had a faint line earlier so he could see it too but it’s still a mind game of is it really there or an indent/evapšŸ™ˆ

Would anyone be interested in a WhatsApp group? I know it’s super early but it would be nice to have a bit more of an intimate space for chatting I think

OP posts:
Oggychaps · 24/09/2026 22:20

Hey, is everyone doing okay?! I’m also hyper aware of my body, I don’t know if it’s the previous chemical pregnancies that have me second guessing but I actually feel really positive

id be happy to join a WhatsApp!

CW2211 · 24/09/2026 22:24

Hey, I’m also feeling really positive this time around and don’t have that huge anxiety I had last time thought not sure if it’s because this will be okay or just wishful thinking but either way it’s nice to be excited as I worried about how the miscarriage might mentally affect another pregnancy.

I’ll get a WhatsApp set up and put the link in here for anyone who wants to join :)

Got any exciting weekend plans??

Oggychaps · 25/09/2026 07:46

I think the chat is under review I can’t see the link!
yeah I’ve had like day dreams of seeing this baby and waddling into the maternity ward and my fiance has had dreams of someone calling me mummy which he never has anything like that haha

CW2211 · 25/09/2026 07:50

Yeah it says it’s hidden until the team can look at it for some reason. Hopefully it’ll be up soon!

Aw that’s so sweet🄺I bought a little animal baby outfit yesterday in Morrisons on sale to take a picture of my digital test before it disappeared and we never bought anything last time but I think subconsciously I’m trying to do the same things I did with my first pregnancy with my son and hope somehow that helps it go the same way with a healthy baby at the endšŸ¤žšŸ»

OP posts:
Oggychaps · 25/09/2026 07:50

We’ve bought an outfit everytime too! X little glimmers right?

CW2211 · 25/09/2026 07:53

It’s nice to be excited and have that hope! I made my partner get in the loft yesterday and pull down the box of old baby stuff from my son so I could find a specific baby vest and it wasn’t in that box it was just in the dressing roomšŸ˜…my mam bought a ā€˜I love my nana this much’ baby vest for my first so I’m taking it to hers this afternoon to tell her about this one, it’ll be the first time I’ve told her I’m pregnant in person so I’m really looking forward to it🄰

OP posts:
Oggychaps · 25/09/2026 08:02

Ah that’s so special! I love this is so much! I have no idea when we’re planning on telling people yet!

CW2211 · 25/09/2026 08:18

I wish I could be one of those people that waits until the 12 week scan but I’m too impatient! With my first we told parents not long after finding out so like 5 weeks. Last time my mam knew straight away but didn’t tell my dad until 7 weeks right before our scan and then had to tell my partners parents after the scan that I was pregnant but it was looking like a MMC so that was the worst situation and I’ve learned from that experience that I’d much rather tell people early and share happy news first then if it comes to it they can be there to support if anything happens

OP posts:
Oggychaps · 25/09/2026 08:20

Yeah this is the thing! Both my chemicals were just before 6 weeks, we hadn’t told anyone either time, infact, we were due to tell my parents the day after I started bleeding x I feel like my sister in law always knows. I feel like we might try and clear 6 weeks and then tell people, I couldn’t wait until 12 either haha

CW2211 · 25/09/2026 08:24

It’s hard to know what to do isn’t it but I do wish I could keep it in a bit longeršŸ™ˆI would’ve tried to wait this time but we need my mam to help with childcare for my scan in a couple weeks so need to tell her so she can sort out work and I figured it would be nice to tell all my parents at the same time so if we see my dad and stepmam tonight we’ll tell them as well. It would be nice to wait for a scan to tell them but I just can’t do that wait haha
