Hi everyone! Hope I’m not the only one with early testing impatience🤣I’ve tested positive (I hope!) for a day or two now, currently 9DPO. Due date would be June 2nd based on LMP if all goes okay.

I’m 25 with an almost 4yo son but this will be my partners first child. We conceived in April straight after I got my coil removed but unfortunately at a private scan we found out at 7 weeks I was having a missed miscarriage (blighted ovum) and I’ve had two surgeries to remove the tissue between June and July. This was my first cycle since the loss and I’m so unbelievably grateful to have gotten pregnant again but also terrified about it not lasting which sucks because I was sooo excited last time but I guess that’s what happens after a loss.

anyways I hope some more of you are at the same stage as me with early positives and we can be in this together!

Hello. Would love to join this! Currently 4 weeks (going from lmp) with DC4. Had a mumsnet group that led to a great social group which still runs now with my current youngest and it was a god send. Would love the same again!

Hello ladies!
Congratulations to all of you on your BFPs!

I thought I’d post here as I’m a bit nervous about joining the WhatsApp group just yet. I am 40, have PCOS and thought I’d never conceive naturally. I was mentally preparing myself for IVF when I fell pregnant naturally - completely unexpectedly - in May this year. Sadly, I had a MMC in July after seeing a heartbeat on an early scan and the day of my op was the hardest day of my life. I thought I’d have to wait a long time before getting pregnant again but to my huge surprise, I tested positive two weeks ago - less than three months after my MMC and on my second month of trying.

I’m obviously over the moon but am so anxious this time and convinced that something will go wrong. I had an early reassurance scan last week and the embryo is in the right place but it was too soon to see a heartbeat and the embryo was slightly on the small side so I have to go back for a progress scan next week. I’ve been given progesterone to see if that helps. If all is well then, I might come and join the WhatsApp group - I’d love to hear how everyone is getting on and support each other.

My due date will be 2 June and I got my positive test on 27 September (three days after my period was due).

How is everybody getting on? Has anybody got symptoms yet? I’m only 6w3d today and don’t really have any strong symptoms (another thing that’s worrying me!) other than being slightly more tired than usual and a bit bloated.

CW2211 · 10/10/2026 21:19

Hi @GreenwichPipsand congratulations to you tooā¤ļø

Sounds like you’ve had a really hard journey so far and I also had a MMC this year after falling pregnant in April and then conceived in my first cycle after that which was 3 months after my first surgery.

I can totally relate to the anxiousness, I have an early scan on Monday and can’t stop making myself think about the last scan which was an empty sac and really struggling to believe this will go well.

Crossing everything that this works out for you, if we both have sticky babies we are due on the same day as well🄰I had some nausea before I even tested positive but my main symptoms has been really sore boobs however I had the same if not worse symptoms with the last pregnancy so it’s not exactly reassuring for me having any right now in a way.

Sending lots of love to you in such a nervous timeā¤ļø

Thank you so much for your lovely message, @CW2211 - we have a lot in common (even our due date!) and I completely understand your anxiety. I will be thinking of you and am hoping we both have sticky little beans this time! šŸ’ž I’m really hoping to be able to join you on the WhatsApp group if everything is okay on Thursday at my next scan… Let me know how you get on at your early scan on Monday - I’ll be keeping everything crossed for you. Hopefully they will offer you progesterone too as you’ve had a previous loss xx

Hi! 10 dpo and got my positive yesterday. This will be my second child, had my first in January this year!🫣 would love to join the whats app chat. How do you join?šŸ˜

Whattodooo22 · 11/10/2026 15:08

Hi everyone, all going well I will be due early June I think (have had previous losses so very nervous) have an early scan next week so if all goes well at that I will join the WhatsApp then. Wishing everyone the best of luck x
My last period started on 30th Aug but I ovulated between 14th-16th Sept, my cycles are not always regular they vary from 28-35 days so not sure what way I will be dated.

I think they will always just date you based on your period until you have a dating scan and then it’s based on how far along baby is measuring

Hi everyone! Looking to join this thread but I’m the same as @GreenwichPips in not wanting to join the WhatsApp just yet!

im in exactly the same situation, I had a scan on Friday at EPU due to previous losses and baby was too small to detect a heartbeat yet so I have to go back on the 19th. I’m so worried and anxious and I don’t know how I’m gonna get through this next week it is incredibly hard!!

hope everyone else is keeping well and congrats on all your pregnancies🫶

Its so tough, i think a lot of us are in the same situation! How early were you when you had the scan? I think I will be 6w3d when I go for mine so not sure if I will see a heartbeat either x

No idea haha, I should have been like 6 weeks 3/4 days, but they said I was more 5-6 weeks. (Crl measured 3.3mm which I believe is closer to 6 weeks). They said it’s common to not see heartbeat at that size but I can’t help but think worse case scenario!

my previous pregnancy I did see a heartbeat at 6 weeks 2 days so you might, or might not! Fingers crossed you do tho as it is reassuringšŸ¤ž

Oh its such a worry isnt it. Hopefully you are just too early and will see one at your next scan. I know I will think the worst if I dont see one too, Part of me wonders if I should push it out a week just to give myself more of a chance but Im anxious to get a scan too so I dont know what's best.
Do you have any symptoms? I have really painful boobs, very sensitive and Im quite tired but nothing else really. Had some nausea a few days ago but thats gone now. I do have light cramps on and off which makes me worry too x

It really is, it’s so draining constantly worrying!

when is your scan booked for at the moment? It’s a tough one, and a completely personal choice! If your dates are right and you see a heartbeat then it will be such a reassurance for you but I guess you just have to remember it might not work out like that and to be prepared!

I had cramps earlier on, I still have a dull ache and pulling sensations now and again but it doesn’t worry me because I did have that with my daughter so I know it’s normal! Yes sore boobs, very tired and feeling sick now and again so very similar to you!

I just wish there was a way to know that everything was gonna be ok🄲

Hi everyone, I tested positive yesterday at around 11dpo. It's my first pregnancy and I am feeling excited, anxious and in disbelief, we've been trying for over a year and this is the first time we have had a positive test (a couple of suspected chemical pregnancies that we didn't test in time for).

I bled a small amount bright red at 7dpo, then had tiny bits of spotting until yesterday 11dpo. It was more like streaking in my discharge. It seems to have all cleared up now and this mornings tests were darker than yesterday. I just wanted to see if anyone who has been pregnant before has has this spotting? I don't have any cramps or pain, just tiny little pulling sensations every now and again.

Yes, me! (Well, still early days so far but fingers crossed for this little bean!)

Those tests are notoriously inaccurate and can’t actually be sold in the US. If you look on Reddit and Mumsnet, you’ll find lots of stories of healthy pregnancies even when the test got ā€œstuckā€ at 1-2 or 2-3. This thread helped me: https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/pregnancy/4168250-clearblue-not-progressing-so-stressed

The ranges are very wide so it’s possible to be within the NHS’s ā€œnormalā€ range for your stage of pregnancy and yet still not get the right reading on the test. I was told to take them as a bit of fun but not let them stress me out - if you have a good strong line on other tests, you should be fine. If you are worried, best to speak to your local EPAU and see if they can get you in for an early scan in a week’s time (or do some blood tests). Good luck and try not to let the test worry you xxx

Clearblue not progressing - so stressed | Mumsnet

I know no-one has any definitive answers and I've spent all morning searching the internet for stories but if anyone is in the same boat or has words...

Congrats on your pregnancy, @LikeItsSummer ! I absolutely know how you feel - this is my second pregnancy and I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in the summer so am very nervous this time around.

I have had brown spotting since the beginning of this pregnancy and it really panicked me so I contacted the EPAU for an early scan last week. Since then , I had red spotting on Sunday and was convinced I was having another miscarriage. However, the scan at the EPAU this morning showed a strong heartbeat completely against all my expectations! The nurse said that spotting (even red) can be normal in early pregnancy as the cervix is so blood-filled and sensitive - even straining to have a poo or squeezing your abdominal muscles hard while singing can cause a bit of bleeding. As long as it’s not a ā€œflowā€, it should be fine.

My sister had two healthy babies and said she spotted all through the pregnancy with both!
