Hi everyone! Hope I’m not the only one with early testing impatience🤣I’ve tested positive (I hope!) for a day or two now, currently 9DPO. Due date would be June 2nd based on LMP if all goes okay.

I’m 25 with an almost 4yo son but this will be my partners first child. We conceived in April straight after I got my coil removed but unfortunately at a private scan we found out at 7 weeks I was having a missed miscarriage (blighted ovum) and I’ve had two surgeries to remove the tissue between June and July. This was my first cycle since the loss and I’m so unbelievably grateful to have gotten pregnant again but also terrified about it not lasting which sucks because I was sooo excited last time but I guess that’s what happens after a loss.

anyways I hope some more of you are at the same stage as me with early positives and we can be in this together!

I will do!
How have you been with symptoms so far?

Joining to follow along, positive as of 12/13 dpo and tentatively excited, although aware a lot can go wrong on the journey - so trying not to get ahead of myself!

cantquiteknityet · 25/09/2026 10:44

Congrats @Snugbug123is this your first? How are you feeling?

swayingstreetlamp · 25/09/2026 10:49

The whole to tell/ not to tell thing is so tricky isn’t it?? We haven’t told anyone yet but I’m planning on telling my best friend on Monday when I’m at 5 weeks, mainly because my husband has got a lot of work travel planned over the next few weeks it will make me feel so much better knowing that someone else knows and is nearby in case I need any support.

Snugbug123 · 25/09/2026 10:55

@cantquiteknityet it would be! So quite life changing if it sticks. How are you feeling??

I have a planned elective surgery coming up so have a feeling the first person outside my partner I'll tell is likely to be a consultant šŸ˜…i think we'll probably have to do an early scan related to the surgery, so I might wait until then to tell family..if I can hold the secret in that long!

CW2211 · 25/09/2026 10:57

Congrats @Snugbug123, the first is always so exciting getting to buy everything for the first time and figure everything out🄰

@swayingstreetlampit is so tricky but I’m glad you’re planning on telling your best friend while your husband is away as it is nice to have someone around who knows. I think my partner will get fed up quickly of me talking about it so I told another mam friend who is also pregnant due in February (we met earlier this year when I was newly pregnant and she’s been there for me through the loss etc so nice to have around). I gave her my old maternity clothes and now worry I might need to take them back before she’s finished with themšŸ˜…

Joining here too as I've got a rough due date of 29th May, but my first baby was 11 days over, so I'm sure this will actually be a little June babe!
4+6 today so still very early, but feeling quite positive while acknowledging there's still a way to go. I've got a scan booked for 8 weeks, so on countdown to that and crossing everything it'll be good news

CW2211 · 25/09/2026 13:20

@lipgosscongratulations! It’s funny how they just come when they want to. I was certain I’d be overdue with my first but instead he was over 2 weeks early! So I’m thinking I might have a May baby this time but who knowsšŸ™ˆ
It’ll be so nice when we start having scans and seeing the little beans on screen!

Hey guys! Congratulations on your positives!! I tested positive this morning, so due around 6th June! This is my second baby(hopefully), I had an ectopic earlier in the year so a little scared as my chances have increased for another. Have a 6 week scan in 2 weeks to double check! ā˜ŗļø The only symptoms I’m having right now is constant trapped wind pain and migraines. 😭

Oggychaps · 25/09/2026 15:25

Omg so many new mums to be joining!!! Congrats to you all x

@Snugbug123 first for me too, but very conscious that it’s early days yet. I’m feeling fine so far, have been a bit sleepier than usual and then waking up too hot overnight. I’m still only getting my head around it being real!

I told one friend this week as we speak every day and it’s really nice having the little bits of advice from someone who’s been there before, it feels like there’s a million things to learn but weird that we just sit tight now until the biking appointment?

I think we’ll go for a scan in two weeks’ time - I’ve got loads on with work until then and need to try my best to stay focussed which I’m sure will go out the window post-scan! And I think I’ll be 7 weeks then so perhaps a little bit more to see ā˜ŗļø

Congrats too to @lipgossand @DaisyDreaming92!! How are you both doing?

lipgoss · 25/09/2026 16:47

thank you, and to you @cantquiteknityet!

I’m still feeling absolutely fine! Quite tired, but my wee girl is only 18m, so it’s hard to know what’s pregnant tired and what’s toddler tired 🤣
I had no sickness at all and only very slight occasional nausea with my first, so long may it continue - hoping for the same again!

It’s also my first time pregnant and the biggest shock so far has been just how long you wait before you actually get to see someone!! In my head I assumed the NHS would be all over you the minute you got a positive test, I had no idea you’d have to wait for nearly 8 weeks. It feels like such a long way away.

Nic2908 · 25/09/2026 22:53

Hi guys, room for another tentative one at the Inn? Positive test last couple of days. I have a 5 year old. However since him I have lost a baby in the second trimester, had a miscarriage at 12 weeks and had a chemical pregnancy. So it really is tentative on my part. Being around positivity is totally what I need right now.

CW2211 · 26/09/2026 02:08

Hi @Nic2908and congratulations! So sorry for your losses, there’s no words to describe how heartbreaking it is to go through thatšŸ’”positivity is definitely the best thing to be around at this stage, if you want to join the WhatsApp you are more than welcome🄰

Jmc16 · 26/09/2026 19:26

Hi all! New to posting but I found out yesterday I’m pregnant - my estimated due date on Premom is June 9th. Me and my partner are 29/28 and this is our first. Would be great to have people to speak to as we’re very excited (cannot stop staring at my positive tests) but also very clueless! X

CW2211 · 26/09/2026 19:40

Hi @Jmc16and congratulations! It is so exciting - especially with your first🄰I also am a test starer! I look at them all at least once a day just to remember this is really happening againšŸ˜†the WhatsApp group is a great place to chat if you want to join :) x

Thank you!! It feels so surreal - I could not be more on cloud 9. Congratulations to you too! I’m sorry to see you’ve had a recent loss - I can imagine that add an extra layer of emotions too, I hope you have the smoothest pregnancy now. I’d love to join the WhatsApp group - it would be great to have people in the same stage as me! X

CW2211 · 26/09/2026 19:58

I don’t think it gets any less surreal each time tbh, I still have moments where I just stop and think oh wow there’s actually a tiny little foetus growing inside me again! Thank you, it’s been a tough few months but I’m so grateful to have gotten pregnant again quickly and I’m staying super positive this time and just manifesting a healthy pregnancy and baby in 9 months! Aw well we’d love to have you. I’ll post the link again for anyone else who wants to join! X
