Hi everyone! Hope I’m not the only one with early testing impatience🤣I’ve tested positive (I hope!) for a day or two now, currently 9DPO. Due date would be June 2nd based on LMP if all goes okay.

I’m 25 with an almost 4yo son but this will be my partners first child. We conceived in April straight after I got my coil removed but unfortunately at a private scan we found out at 7 weeks I was having a missed miscarriage (blighted ovum) and I’ve had two surgeries to remove the tissue between June and July. This was my first cycle since the loss and I’m so unbelievably grateful to have gotten pregnant again but also terrified about it not lasting which sucks because I was sooo excited last time but I guess that’s what happens after a loss.

anyways I hope some more of you are at the same stage as me with early positives and we can be in this together!

Yes, me! (Well, still early days so far but fingers crossed for this little bean!)

Those tests are notoriously inaccurate and can’t actually be sold in the US. If you look on Reddit and Mumsnet, you’ll find lots of stories of healthy pregnancies even when the test got ā€œstuckā€ at 1-2 or 2-3. This thread helped me: https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/pregnancy/4168250-clearblue-not-progressing-so-stressed

The ranges are very wide so it’s possible to be within the NHS’s ā€œnormalā€ range for your stage of pregnancy and yet still not get the right reading on the test. I was told to take them as a bit of fun but not let them stress me out - if you have a good strong line on other tests, you should be fine. If you are worried, best to speak to your local EPAU and see if they can get you in for an early scan in a week’s time (or do some blood tests). Good luck and try not to let the test worry you xxx

Thank you so much! This helped a lot ā¤ļø

Congrats on your pregnancy, @LikeItsSummer ! I absolutely know how you feel - this is my second pregnancy and I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks in the summer so am very nervous this time around.

I have had brown spotting since the beginning of this pregnancy and it really panicked me so I contacted the EPAU for an early scan last week. Since then , I had red spotting on Sunday and was convinced I was having another miscarriage. However, the scan at the EPAU this morning showed a strong heartbeat completely against all my expectations! The nurse said that spotting (even red) can be normal in early pregnancy as the cervix is so blood-filled and sensitive - even straining to have a poo or squeezing your abdominal muscles hard while singing can cause a bit of bleeding. As long as it’s not a ā€œflowā€, it should be fine.

My sister had two healthy babies and said she spotted all through the pregnancy with both!

Thank you for the response! It's been over 24 hours since any spotting so my anxiety is settling! I've booked a private scan for 1 Nov when I will be 7 weeks, not long to go but I know these 2 weeks will go so slowly!

Glad to hear your scan went well. Massive congratulations!

You are more than welcome! I have been in the same position so I know this worry all too well!

It’s a really good sign that the spotting has stopped ā˜ŗļø I’m not a doctor but that does suggest that it was cervical bleeding caused by irritation rather than anything more worrying. If it was a miscarriage, it would likely get heavier and have clots etc.

Wishing you all the best for your early scan! Keep us posted xxx

Hi everyone

Just got a positive at 10dpo with due date 27th June.

DS has just turned 3 and we've been TTC for 6 months (which felt like forever but I know isn't really).

Keen to chat in the WhatsApp group and ask those who are further along what early symptoms they're getting as I have none yet!

trolleypolly · 15/10/2026 16:25

Just found out I’m pregnant with my 3rd today

CoopChar · 16/10/2026 21:26

Hello!

Moving over here from the May group as I went for a dating scan today due to my periods being irregular and I was measuring 7+2! Nice healthy heartbeat which was totally unexpected as I’ve been spotting on and off for over a week!

Cautiously excited to be pregnant with our 2nd!

(I sent a WhatsApp request)

GreenwichPips · 17/10/2026 00:32

Congratulations, @DandelionPockets , @CoopChar and @trolleypolly ! šŸ’–

I’ve just plucked up the courage to request to join the WhatsApp group after a positive scan on Thursday šŸ¤ž so hopefully will catch up with you there! Looking forward to hearing how everyone is getting on xxx

Curiouscaseofzoe · 18/10/2026 06:45

Hi everyone, just seeing if this thread is active still, as I don’t feel up to joining the WhatsApp group at the moment.

I’m due 20th June with hopefully baby no.1 following 4 miscarriages over the space of a few years. Feeling very apprehensive, I have my first scan with the recurrent miscarriage clinic in 2 weeks time

@Curiouscaseofzoe so sorry to hear of the loss of your first daughter

Hi, I’ve just requested to join the WhatsApp group. Last time I checked for a due in June group on here I must have been too early! LMP puts me at the 2nd June (clearly a popular date!)

We have a second private scan on Saturday as we’re measuring 1 week behind at the previous one. This is baby number three for us so we feel very excited but also rather mad!šŸ«£šŸ˜‚

Heiderose · Yesterday 13:23

Just found out I'm pregnant with our 2nd. Already have a 4 yr old and I'm 42 so in a bit of a daze right now. Due date would be 27th June.

Doglover84 · Yesterday 16:40

Was hoping to join this group today... went for a scan at 7+3 but she measured me at 6+4. She said all looked good and heartbeat was visible but I am 100% sure of my dates so I'm beside myself with worry :(

Dahlia118 · Yesterday 19:00

@Doglover84 they are so small at this stage that measurements can be off. I went for a scan once before and during the same scan the days changed from something like 7+1 to 7+5 all because she measured at a different angle. Fingers crossed next scan it will be bigger so can be easier to measure
