Any Mumma’s due in May 2027?

Found out recently I’m pregnant with baby number 3 😍. I’ve worked out my due date as early May 2027. Anyone else? It would be nice to have a support thread going. They’ll be quite a big gap between my two kids and baby, I feel like I’ve forgotten everything 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hahaha where are the mat clothes from?
Mine are all pretty much H&M and quiet nice.
Even the nursing tops look quiet modern and not like nursing wear.
Mine are 4 and 2 at the moment. But eldeat will be 5 by the time I am due.
I have managed alone with both kids as we are far from family and friends. I have learnt to be very resilient and I am sure it will all work out. 🤪

@CoopChar wow thats not great at all. I am surprised by that I assumed it would be better in Cornwall. I love cornwall we holiday there often and North Devon. A dream location to live, if we could afford to.
I am glad you have a private scan sorted though. I am tempted to do 1.

Previous maternity wear was a mixed bag of frumpy Vinted finds plus stuff that I had literally stretched over two pregnancies. 😂 Will look at H&M though also feeling like I should be spending 0 money on myself for the foreseeable future (or at least 2045…).

You sound like you have it all under control, good for you! 💪

I am feeling so rotten. I am 7 weeks and the naisea is day and night. I wake up, like now, around midnight - 2am and feel so sick. And the only thing that helpa is having some toast. Then I am wide awake until 4am! I feel so miserable.
Also potty training my toddler and I am struggling.
I am doing ginger shots and tea which takes the edge off but I don't feel great. The fatigue is worse this time around as no one is napping anymore 😭 so I can't take a nap in the day.

Yes! i have the issue with my pants. I wore none maternity and stretched them badly. And then got some from H&M and they were horrible I wish I could return them ended up binning them. The leg band is tight and doesn't stretch at all! And the under bump band kept digging in and rolling down. Their mat underwear is literal trash.
ASDA Maternity Bras were fantastic and M&S which is a splurge.

At the moment feel like I am ha ging on by a thread. The nausea and fatigue is all high and WISH I had someone to look after the kids so I could have a bed day.

Hope everyone is hanging in there. I hit 11 weeks yesterday and the nausea/vomiting/exhaustion has been particularly rough the last couple of weeks. Really really hoping the end is in sight but this is my first so no idea what to expect!
Fortunately/unfortunately I have been signed off work for the last few weeks due to heavy bleeding on and off. Incredibly stressful but have had a couple of scans at my EPU and all looks ok with the baby. Unless the second trimester is sunshine and roses, DP and I may well be “one and done” 😅

Fingers crossed the second trimester is easier on you. Sorry to hear about the additional anxieties and worries with the bleeding, but great that you're being well monitored and baby is doing well.

8 weeks today here. Had some pink discharge today. Hoping the progesterone isn't masking another MMC. Private scan booked for Saturday 🤞
Is anyone else off water?? I normally chug loads during the day but can't really stomach it and I'm off tea as well but had that last time around.

Moominmamato3 · 14/10/2026 13:21

@WildFinch im the opposite, can’t stop drinking and has to be ice cold. Usually hate water but can’t seem to get enough atm! Isn’t it funny how we are all effected differently.

Been to view some houses today and I’m starting to think we may stay put. Can’t find anything I like as much as ours and we have enough space here even with new baby, we had just wanted a bigger garden.

Is anyone else close to their 12 week scan? Mine is next Tuesday and I feel I can relax a little after that even though my two scan so far have been fine.

I’m the same with water - the colder the better.
Similar with the scans too, I’ve had a couple already due to lots of bleeding (all looks ok) and have my dating scan on Wednesday next week. Feeling both nervous and excited to finally tell everyone

Moominmamato3 · 15/10/2026 14:59

Yes it will be a relief to be able to tell people and get into maternity clothes ~ so bloated atm!

WildFinch · 15/10/2026 16:36

Pink spotting again today. Very light. Anyone else had anything similar? Wondering if it's the progesterone pessaries. Going to be an anxious wait until the scan on Saturday.
Exciting for those that have their 12 week scans coming up! Mine feels ages away. Hoping they all go well :)

FlyingHighFlyingLow · 15/10/2026 20:42

Had a private scan today and there was a little baby with a heartbeat measuring 11 weeks! 10+2 by dates, 10+1 by EPAU scan so we will see what comes when I have my dating scan.

Itsgoesalittlesomethinglikethis · 15/10/2026 20:51

Is anyone opting out of the 12 week scan due to risks associated with ultrasound?

FolkSongSweet · 15/10/2026 22:50

@WildFinch i had that followed by brown spotting - I think it was related to the fact that I’d had sex (apologies tmi) as apparently can irritate the cervix. It lasted a few days and nothing since. I’m also on progesterone.

Im 9 weeks now and the nausea is awful. I have the opposite of morning sickness as it just builds during the day. Looking forward to crashing at the weekend! I’m going to book a private NIPT for just past 10 weeks - last had a scan 2 weeks ago at 7 weeks so only another week to go.

Ultrasounds are extremely safe. I had weekly scans my last pregnancy due to complications and was absolutely fine.

MummaAgain2026 · 16/10/2026 13:13

Has Gaviscon saved anyone else’s life? 🥹. I’ve had silent reflux for weeks now, just thought it was normal pregnancy nausea/sickness. Feel like a new woman!

@Itsgoesalittlesomethinglikethis I think it’s recommended to avoid commercial scans, 3D scans etc. but medical scans are considered completely safe.

If I took it, I'd have to space it from my xonvea and I really don't want to risk screwing with how the xonvea works so I'm sleeping propped up 🤣

Oh bless you, it’s so bad isn’t it?! I was hoping there would be some relief after the first trimester but apparently it only worsens lol

Hi ladies, I am devastated to be leaving the group. We had a beautiful heartbeat last week and today it was gone. After 5 years of secondary infertility it feels unbearably cruel. Wishing you all the very best with your pregnancies and enjoy your beautiful babies when they come xx

Oh I'm so sorry xxx

CoopChar · 16/10/2026 21:12

I had my scan today and there was a tiny bean with a heartbeat! I’m actually not quite as far along as LMP dates me, but that makes total sense as my periods have been mental and lasting upto 2 weeks so makes total sense that I ovulated later!

Cautiously excited after having a week of spotting but nice to have an answer after a week of unknown.
Technically an imposter in this group now as I’m due on the 2nd of June but I’ll be having an elective so they’ll be a May baby…

Thanks for replying @FolkSongSweet. I think my spotting is post exercise so I'm hoping it's a sensitive cervix. I've said no to being intimate with DH until I'm further along 😆 scan tomorrow so I'll know more then.
Sorry about the nausea, sounds very similar to my last pregnancy. By the evening I felt so rough.
