Any Mumma’s due in May 2027?

Found out recently I’m pregnant with baby number 3 😍. I’ve worked out my due date as early May 2027. Anyone else? It would be nice to have a support thread going. They’ll be quite a big gap between my two kids and baby, I feel like I’ve forgotten everything 🤦🏼‍♀️

I'm on xonvea and its life changing. Huge difference to the nausea.

Similarly anxious, even with a toddler, but this is off the back of a chemical 2 months before conceived this one. Just taking it a week at a time. Was tempted to book an 8 week scan but we want to do NIPT which is at 10 weeks so might be bit overkill to have another scan and trying to hold out!

Did your midwife or GP refer you or did you go to the early pregnancy unit?

I am a bit nervous about as yet unknown long term effects on baby but at this point I will not be able to do my job if I don’t get it under control. 😭 Wasn’t like this with my first 2.

@TTCmaybesoon ~ my scan appointment came through about a week after my booking appointment but it was via post, still not showing on Badger notes.

We had private scan today which showed baby measuring at 10 weeks (I think I’m 9.3 days so in the right ballpark). Very relived and nice end to week as I’ve been a bit down as we can’t seem to sell our house and obviously would like to be moved by Feb!

Hello!! I’m 6+4 weeks with my 2nd and I’ve been feeling like a bus hit me. I had nausea and sickness with my first too, but this is 24/7. I got some meds prescribed which I hope will take off the edge. I’m also extremely anxious about this pregnancy sticking which I thought I wouldn’t given I have a toddler to think about - nope, still anxious 😬

In the same boat. Today I felt horrendous. I have a 4 year old amd 2 year old. Managed until 1.30pm and crashed badly. I been steadily declining each day. I been on the sofa all afternoon supervising the kids. Not much rest but will do.

Finally got 3+ on clear Blue digital! Which hqs reassuredme. That coupled woth the massive increase in nausea taking as a positive sign. Still a worrier until I get that scan.

Had my booking appointment on Wednesday and it went well, but I am a bit nervous about getting a date for my 12 week scan.

The midwife booked my next meeting with her for 13 Nov and the official letter for that came through the NHS app immediately because I am signed up for paperless comms where possible.

She was having some IT issues, but said that because she'd completed the booking form and set up our next appointment that that would trigger the booking of the 12 week scan, too. But I have had nothing via the app yet. When the midwife appointments were booked I got a text and app notification very quickly.

I am v, v anxious about adminstrative issues like this, but I am a bit worried that the booking of the scan hasn't been triggered. I will absolutely be chasing every man and his dog mid-next week if I don't hear anything (post in my area is v slow, which is why I don't want to take any chances with paper comms if I can get it through the app - I don't want to miss an appt).

How long has it taken people to get their ultrasound booked in after their midwife appointment? Any experiences with the app vs post?

In Wales. In the past took 2 weeks after Booking Apt.....snail Mail.

I got a call today to make my booking appointment. It's on 19 October when I'll be nearly 9 weeks. My scan appointment was made when I self-refered to EPU but I had a 6 week scan because of my history and they amended it to Friday 13(!) Nov. I'm 6w+3 today. In the past my appointment letters have come through the post. How many weeks are you now?

So I am 10 weeks exactly today, so I am aware they could technically book me in as early as next Friday!

Seems like based on previous replies it could be they only send letters and not app notifications for scans, so I will keep an eye out and call if I don't hear anything by late next week.

Oh yeah you're further along so it's worth calling to follow up! If you're having the combined screening they have to do that before 14 weeks I think?
We used Badger Notes in our Trust and I don't remember scan appointments being on there either, just midwife ones.

Oh interesting, maybe it varies from area to area. My scan appointment showed in my badger notes like this on the week of my appointment. I saw this before I got my letter through, but it’s all shorthand info x

That’s exactly when my appointment is too, currently 7+2

Moominmamato3 · 03/10/2026 11:12

@MummaAgain2026 my scan isn’t showing in badger notes at all but my next midwife one is. They have got my blood group down wrong so now need to call them on Monday and check I don’t have someone else’s bloods logged against me!

swayingstreetlamp · 03/10/2026 11:41

Hi everyone, can I join? Found out a couple of weeks ago I’m pregnant and originally thought I was due beginning of June but the NHS calculator is putting me at 29th May, 6 weeks exactly today. 🐣

keepgoinggal · 03/10/2026 17:21

Cried on my way there, cried inside waiting and I’d really prepared myself for bad news. To be told I’m showing at 8mm 6 weeks 5 days with a strong heart beat… well I can’t even put into words the relief 🥹 midwife was really happy. Kinda feel like I want to join the WhatsApp now! Been crying all day 🤣🩷

My DH got me the Replenish Shots from Tesco and had it this morning and I feel a little better throughout the day noticable difference. Been able to function and actually make dinner for the family.
and go for a walk.
Has anyone else found walking and fresh air help with nausea? The only thing is when I do get home I want to sleep 😂😭

Also potentially due end May. I say potentially as I’ve lost a few along the way but I have been blessed with any DD who’s now 5 🌈

I’m a serial tester - (I know, I know🤦🏻‍♀️) - but today got 3+ on a clear blue so feeling somewhat positive. A few days go I was still on 2-3 so I’m pleased to see there’s been some hormone development at this early stage! The only other pregnancy I got this gave me my daughter so I’m manifesting as much positivity as possible!

I'm the same, I know they're not supposed to be used like that but in these early weeks I needed something to calm my nerves and reassure me things are going well this time around

@MixedBananas yes omg when it’s stuffy I feel so sick and when I open the door/window to get some of that crisp cold
air in I feel so much better. Thankfully I’m in Scotland where it’s freezing already!

Plumchumm · 03/10/2026 23:10

sorry don’t mean to spam but does anyone else feel like they get anxious before a scan, then when the scan goes well they feel great for a few days, and then back to being anxious before the next scan?
my scan high just wore off and now I’m nervous about my next one in 1.5 weeks 😩

I was the swme stuck on 2-3 for 2 weeks. But I refuses to twst again until 7days elapsed and i finally got 3+ on Friday.

MixedBananas · 04/10/2026 08:57

@Plumchumm i am wondering if the smells and stuffiness in the home is whats actually causing my nausea. I have a fan on all night to feel a cool breeze on my face and the window open to my DH dismay!
I am in Mid North Wales it is cooler here but had some freakishly warm days. Actually happy to be pregmant over Winter. Couldn't imagine it over the heat wave!!!!
My friend who is due Oct has suffered terribly with swollen legs and feet for months with no relief.

i felt abit like I couldn’t stop testing until I got the 3+ and now I have I won’t buy anymore. It’s utter trash anyway and means nothing but it’s working as a comfort blanket for now!

MixedBananas · 04/10/2026 23:31

@CoopChar I know it is the only thing we can access conveniently and discretely. No wonder we do this to ourselves.

I am teying my best to keep busy but I am worrying so much. Today I felt leas symptoms. Nausea was less intense and had more energy and I freaked out. I am freaking out a lot anyway. But I am 6ws so I should be experincing intense ayntpoms only intensyfying.

Plumchumm · 05/10/2026 02:49

@MixedBananas my symptoms were very on and off at 6 weeks, for a couple days my boobs didn’t even hurt at all even after they had been hurting since before I even found out!
but then at 6+6 I saw a baby with a heartbeat. So having fluctuating symptoms isn’t a sign of anything, it’s very normal

I would have days where I was so tired all day, then the next day I walked like 4 miles, another day cleaned my whole house.

laesosalt · 05/10/2026 13:07

Just had an early scan and I’m measuring a week ahead with a beautiful + strong heartbeat. What a relief 🫶🏼

Good luck to anyone having scans this week xx

Moominmamato3 · 05/10/2026 15:47

Hey everyone ~ hope all is well!

Not sure if this is a pregnancy thing but I can’t seem to get enough to drink, I constantly feel thirsty even after drinking loads and sucking on ice. Has anyone had this?
