Hi!

Thought I'd start a group for those of us just getting our positives now and are due in April 2027!

I've just had a positive from a frozen embryo transfer. One DD and a previous loss and one failed cycle.

Anxious putting one foot in front of the other in these early days!

Ok that’s good to know, thanks @TiffanyBlythe and @PumpkinPieFairy I’ll give that a go tomorrow! Everything is so disjointed and frustrating here but fingers crossed! 🤞

Omg no way! Are you in my June baby group 🙈

I am! And I have you on IG ;) I did a double take when I saw your user name! 😆

Omg no way! I’ve been racking my brain trying to figure out who you might be but I have no clue. Seems like I’m the only one with my name as my Mumsnet username, I didn’t get the anonymous memo🙈

Is anyone else just really bloody excited and can't tell anyone yet? Just need somewhere to let off steam 😂 I told my DH on Saturday a few hours before my DB came to visit, he's staying with us for a week. So we've had a couple of snatched moments of privacy talking about the news but otherwise we've had this big moment then keeping it quiet!

We've agreed though we're going to tell him prob Fri/Sat before he leaves, we've got a plan for telling a few close family members soon. We waited until I was actually about 10 weeks (thought it was more like 9) before we told anyone with my toddler because I wanted a reassurance scan first. This time I actually want to tell a few close people who we'd want to know whatever the outcome is. And as most of my side are still in London, I want to take advantage of seeing my close family/best friend in person over the next month and a bit as a long drive each way isn't the easiest with my toddler, their schedules, and I'm already a little bit nauseous which is way earlier than last time. Anyway - just excited! Buzzing

Looool! It’s Lauren ☺️ I’m not in the WhatsApp group anymore, couldn’t keep up after the babies were born especially as I use it as my work phone! But excited that maybe we will get to be in the same group again! How have your tests progressed? I’m such a serial tester 😭 miscarriage history here also!

Aw hey and congratulations!! My tests have progressed well actually, been doing them every other day and the line is really strong now. How are yours doing?

I'm also going mad not telling anyone! I can't believe I'm still only about 5 +2 at the most. Fair play for keeping it quiet when your brother arrived so soon after you finding out, I admire your restraint. I think your plan to tell your closest friends/family soon is lovely.

I impulsively self-referred to midwives yesterday, and already had a call today to arrange my booking appointment for August, when I'll be just shy of 8 weeks. Also booked a reassurance scan for a week after that. It still doesn't feel quite real though.

Yay that’s good! I’m just 4w exactly today and finally got that 2-3 on clearblue so I’m just going to try and relax. Nausea has come in waves today which is gutting because I had hyperemesis with the last pregnancy that started at 6 weeks. There’s a 89% recurrence rate and if I’m feeling nauseous already I might be in for another hyperemesis pregnancy 😭😭😭

Orchid887 · 28/07/2026 19:51

@LacedBouquet- I have also had hyperemesis in all my pregnancies! This time I called the GP on the day of my positive test and thet started me on cyclizine three times a day to get ahead of it. Unfortunately needed to add in Prochlorperazine as well and still feeling rough but definitely get onto them sooner rather than later!

Hi. Can I join? Got my results from hCG blood test (101). Clinic are going to repeat it tomorrow. Hope it rises okay. Looks like I could be due beginning of April!

Hello! 👋🏻

Making my way over from the TTC side of Mumsnet to join this little corner of the internet! 🥹💕

A little about me… I have a DD who is about to turn 4, and we decided it was finally time to see if we could persuade another tiny human to join the chaos. 🥰

Somehow, we were lucky enough to get a positive on our very first cycle trying, which still doesn’t quite feel real. Feeling incredibly grateful, very excited… and if I’m being honest, a little (okay, quite a lot 😅) anxious too. Hoping everything continues to tick along nicely.

My EDD according to Flo is 1 April, so I think I’m just sneaking into the April club! 🌸
I’m just shy of 5 weeks, although that’s based on my LMP as I didn’t track ovulation this cycle, so who knows! At the moment I have virtually no symptoms, apart from suddenly being hungry approximately every 17 minutes. 😂

I’ve booked a private reassurance scan in three weeks’ time, so until then I’m just trying to keep myself occupied and manifest the most wonderfully boring pregnancy possible. 🤞🏻🤍

Looking forward to getting to know you all and wishing everyone a happy, healthy nine months! 🥰🌷

Orchid887 · 28/07/2026 20:38

@CasualOverthinker- yay!! So lovely to see you here! Technically I'm due 28th March but when I joined the March they all seemed SO much further ahead of me, since I tested so early too. So I decided I'd kick off the April group 😂

So glad it all worked so well for you, especially considering how hard "playing it cool" came to bite you. You definitely helped my sanity for this round!

Oh no I’m so sorry to hear that! But that’s so good they gave you the cyclizine now! I have some left from last pregnancy so was going to potentially start shortly and will call GP. I started B6 100mg as well to see if I can lessen the severity as I know some clinical trials found success with it. Im sorry you’re already having to add in prochlorperazine 😭 The only thing that really did anything for me last time was ondansetron but I know they’ll not want to give me that until 12+ weeks. Omeprazole helped as well and I was going to ask to see if I can get on that earlier as not sure what the rules are!

Same here with the first cycle ttc baby 2.

I hope you enjoy your pregnancy - wishing you a happy and healthy one too!

Hi 👋🏻

Got my BFP yesterday, real shock as only second month TTC baby no.2 who is 2 next week. Feeling a bit anxious atm as had an early loss previously before having baby no.1. Due date according to Flo/LMP would be 6th April! Excited for the journey ahead. ♥️

PumpkinPieFairy · 29/07/2026 06:12

Morning everyone - congrats to those getting their positives!

To the breastfeeding progesterone ladies - I just started the pessaries, THEN read the leaflet (as you do) which says do not take while BF. A quick google beforehand suggested it was fine…

My guess is it’s fine but there’s not enough research for them to state that. Are others going to keep taking progesterone and BF??

CasualOverthinker · 29/07/2026 06:58

Is anyone else absolutely boiling hot?? With my DD I remember getting cold every evening like clockwork. With this pregnancy, I have been feeling SO hot. I feel I’m constantly hot and sweaty 🥵

Oh my gosh yes!! I also absolutely stink it’s so gross… I had to reapply deodorant three times yesterday 🤢

I’m the opposite, so cold I’m sleeping in my fluffy socks and dressing gown. Was the exact same when pregnant with my daughter but it was winter then at least
