February 2027 Rainbow Babies 🌈 Pregnancy After Loss

anniehall12 · 02/06/2026 15:30

Hi everyone 🤍

I wanted to start a little thread for anyone due around February 2027 with a rainbow baby 🍼

I've recently found out I'm pregnant again, very early, so everything feels quite delicate at the moment. I'm happy, but also incredibly anxious after experiencing a missed miscarriage and a miscarriage, both this year, and I know there may be other women feeling exactly the same way.

I thought it might be nice to have a space where we can chat, share updates, celebrate the little milestones, and support each other through the worries that often come with pregnancy after loss.

Sending love to anyone on this journey 🤍🌈

@ChocolatecustardcreamsruleI was anxious before going into the private scan yesterday - for obvious reasons but also I didn’t know what they would be like. But the sonographer was really nice and put me at ease. Maybe look at some reviews before you decide where to go so you’ve at least got some reassurance on that front.

And gosh I’m so sorry. I can completely relate to feeling detached and hard to get excited. Excitement… more like dread! How far along are you now? My sore boobs were strangely quiet yesterday which added to the panic! As I understand it symptoms come and go 😅

Are any you ladies having vivid dreams? I dreamt last night I bought my DH a pet bat as a present (looked more like a gremlin from the movie) and it was wearing a baby sleep suit 🤣. I’m wondering if my subconscious is trying to get me accustomed to the idea there may be a baby, even if I’m too afraid to really acknowledge it yet… so it came up with this baby adjacent pet. My DH named it… Beardy… as it had a little beard 🤔

@Chocolatecustardcreamsrule have a little look round at places, one by me is way more nhs (I think the owner still works clinically) and less upselling /insta if that makes sense and that did make me feel way more secure.

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite oh the vivid dreams are crazy 😂😂

hazeleyesJ · 04/07/2026 13:57

9 weeks 4 days today and yesterday and today nausea and vomiting has completely stopped. It is really panicking me. I felt awful at the start of the week and now I feel ok, but just so stressed. Is this a bad sign? I don’t have another scan for like just over a week. All looked fine on my scan on Monday so I know I should relax but it’s difficult not to stress.

anniehall12 · 04/07/2026 18:24

So I'm going to have a private scan end of this week when I will be 9w2d and then a 3 week gap until the NHS 12 week scan. If I get too anxious during the 3 weeks then I will just go for another private one! 🥺

I have used window to the womb & hey baby...both have been lovely.

I will have a cervical length scan at 16 weeks, the anomaly scan at 20 weeks then scans every 4 weeks.

I don't want to rush my pregnancy away but honestly just hoping and praying to get to the point of feeling movements! It's getting all a bit too much. This hypermesis gravidarum is just an absolute nightmare!

I can relate to the vivid dreams but in my last pregnancy. It was wild. And sometimes disturbing! I dreamt that I gave birth through my nose....I was unsettled for weeks! 😭

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all surviving at the moment. When does this pregnancy glow happen!? Feels like a myth. I’m so nauseous all the time and eaten very little for nearly a month now. Feel bad for feeling bad as it has been a long journey to get here. Work is becoming more and more difficulty due to low energy and sickness. Thats my moan for the day!

Sending hugs to everyone else.

Elephantscantjump · 05/07/2026 14:04

@Lillylight I 100% think the glow is a fib 😂 . I'm sorry you're feeling so rough its no fun at all. I'm definitely more nauseous this time than last time but not to the point of needing meds luckily. The heat/muggy weather isnt helpful either. Hope it eases up for you soon! 🫂

anniehall12 · 07/07/2026 13:04

It only happens in the 2nd trimester for me and by the 3rd trimester I'm a mess again 😂

I really do hope you get some relief and can feel better soon. My concoction of 4 different medications is giving me some relief. Although I have to take it religiously to the hour otherwise I'm violently sick 🥹

I hope everyone is doing best as they can and having a healthy pregnancy. How many weeks are we now?

I’m coming up to 11 weeks! This is the furthest we have ever been on this fertility journey. Meeting the midwife this week and hopefully booking in for a scan soon. Sending hugs to all. When will I eat a meal again?! 🤣

Wow 11 weeks! Amazing 🥰 you must be thrilled, except about the nausea 🫠

😂 Honestly your poor thing. The nausea is till terrible. But maximum dose of Xonvea has really helped! Xx

Do you know the last two days I’ve felt slightly better and been able to eat a little more so hopefully I’m coming out the other side of this nausea battle. I can’t believe it’s 11 weeks already - it’s been hard to enjoy it with the sickness so looking forward to being to feel more upbeat. Are you able to eat more?

anniehall12 · 09/07/2026 13:20

That's good to hear. Hopefully it only gets better from here on! Yes I can definitely eat more now I can small meals here and there like a sandwich! How fancy 😅 I don't think I've ever been so grateful for medication in my whole life than I am right now. It's like magic ✨ xx

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite how are you getting on? I hope you and baby are well 💗 x

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 09/07/2026 15:13

Ah thank you so much for checking in @anniehall12🤗. I am good, I had my updated scan at the IVF clinic today (they brought it forwards by a week because of last week’s bleed) and it was all looking good. I showed them some slightly grizzly photos of the clots and they said they were pretty confident it was old pooled blood that the scan had dislodged. Let’s hope there’s no repeat after the scan today 😅.

Officially 8+1 today 😅✨💫 🙏🏻 🤞, somehow I’m starting to let myself believe it will work out! Which is an unexpected development…

I’m so glad you’re feeling better on the medication and I hope everything goes well at your scan later this week. How are you managing in the heat? Xx

Opheliaamongtheflowers · 12/07/2026 19:47

Hi ladies, first time posting hope you don’t mind me asking your advice. I’ve had 2 miscarriages earlier in the year- one at 5.5 weeks another at 7.1weeks. Found out I’m pregnant again , 7 weeks 4 days today. I’m a nervous wreck, my doctor hasn’t offered any support. I went for an early reassurance scan today. It was measuring 5weeks 6 days. Booked for another scan in 12 days. They could see the sack but said it was too early for a heartbeat. Said it was normal to have a discrepancy of 2 weeks in the dates. I’m spiralling and convinced i have lost it.

Welcome @Opheliaamongtheflowers firstly congratulations. It sounds like you're going through a lot. 2 weeks seems quite a lot of difference. Was it NHS or private? What was seen in the sac? Hopefully the scan was inaccurate, do you think it's worth another scan before 2 weeks? Xx

It’s bad news for me sadly. I saw the EPU last week and it’s been confirmed today that sadly the second twin stopped growing too. I’m going for surgery tomorrow and they’ll do genetic testing, although I’m not sure if that will tell me anything.

Wishing all you lovely ladies the best in your pregnancies x

SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite · 14/07/2026 19:27

I’m so terribly sorry to hear this 💔 @Chocolatecustardcreamsrule. Sending you a huge hug

I’m so sorry to hear this @Chocolatecustardcreamsrule. Life can be so unfair 😢

So sorry @Chocolatecustardcreamsrule

I think I’m heading in the same direction. Baby had hardly grown between scans (1 week apart) and still no heartbeat. Another scan next week but I already know the outcome won’t be a good one

Lillylight · 15/07/2026 06:34

@Chocolatecustardcreamsrule So sorry to hear your news. It’s just crap. Take care of you.

Thank you. It was a private. The sonographer wasn’t particularly helpful. The yolk sac was seen and it was in the correct place. I’m seeing the midwife tomorrow for my booking appointment so I’m hoping she might refer me to the EPU?

So sorry to the ladies who have had bad news xx
