@ABC0375056 I’m so sorry, look after yourself šŸ¤

@ABC0375056 so sorry to hear that - look after yourself x

koalaklub · 02/04/2026 08:32

Nervously checking in to say hello!

I’m 5+2 and this is my first pregnancy - I don’t have any symptoms right now so cautiously hoping things progress well.

I had my scheduled smear test last Monday before I tested, I was a bit worried that might impact pregnancy but GP didn’t think it would make a difference.

PhoenixSTL · 02/04/2026 09:31

@ABC0375056 I'm so sorry to hear your news 😄 please take care of yourself

PhoenixSTL · 02/04/2026 09:38

@NewAgeDawning I had some very light, pink spotting when wiping on Monday evening. But only the once so far. I looked back at my diary with my son's pregnancy, and i had the same at about this time, for roughly two weeks.

@wonderlust07 @Janey3090 @koalaklub welcome 😊

Is anyone else still testing? My plan is to test every day until Saturday (so a week of testing) before i self refer to the midwives

Janey3090 · 02/04/2026 09:42

Hi all, so my bleeding has progressed to bright red and a fair amount. Have tested and no line progression since Tuesday (if anything it’s a little lighter). Going to check out now as I believe it’s over for me. Wishing you all the best šŸ’— xx

wonderlust07 · 02/04/2026 09:49

Sorry to hear that @Janey3090, take care of yourself.

@PhoenixSTL I am still testing - like a crazy women tbh and I know it doesn't really mean anything. I have my second blood draw today but I can't get there until after work so no idea when I will the results due to the bank holidays. I will try and stop this weekend too.

PhoenixSTL · 02/04/2026 10:11

PhoenixSTL · 02/04/2026 10:14

@wonderlust07 yeah, I know that the tests aren't conclusive, but they are reassuring to me. I still have all the tests from my June pregnancy/miscarriage, and keep comparing. So far this pregnancy is testing much stronger, and is more similar to the line progression from my son's pregnancy. So all fingers crossed, and it's helping to keep me calm.

But with the lack of line progression from June, my anxieties were sky high and it never felt like it was a viable pregnancy.

Always frustrating having to wait for test results!

Hi all, gently joining in this thread after having a positive test two days ago. Based on LMP I’m currently 3+6 so extremely early days still.
I have a toddler who will be 2 in a few weeks and was pregnant again last year but unfortunately ended in a tfmr as baby was just too poorly.
I’m incredibly anxious, although excited at the thought of having another.

My stomach feels incredibly bloated and really tight/heavy. I don’t remember this in my other two pregnancies but trying hard not to spiral.

Ive also been testing every day since 9dpo. I’m really keeping everything crossed that things go well this time x

This must be really difficult, sending lots of positive energy your way x

Welcome @koalaklub @Lookingtogrowthefamily - hope everything continues to develop well for you both.

So sorry @Janey3090 šŸ¤

@PhoenixSTL I was testing every day up until Tuesday (4+3, showing as 2-3 weeks on digital) and am now away for the long weekend without any more tests, so hoping once I get home mid next week I might have my 3+ on a digital test šŸ¤žšŸ»

Ncl31 · 02/04/2026 18:12

Sorry ladies I haven’t disappeared. I just tried to have a couple of days without too much pregnancy talk.
pregnancy after loss causes so much anxiety it’s unreal.
I’ve been testing everyday since 11DPO which is why I got my positive. My test today on easy@home was almost a dye stealer.
I also got 2-3 on clear blue. In my last pregnancy I didn’t get that until 5 weeks but I’m 4+2 today.

Ive had acupuncture this cycle to try and help and it’s worked, I saw my lady again today and she’s done some ā€œmagicā€ to help my uterus keep
hold of baby.
I’ll now be going to see her weekly until 12 weeks šŸ¤žšŸ»

@thehopelessoverthinker all fingers crossed for the 3+! I'm doing my digital test on Sunday, so hoping for the same

@Ncl31 a dye stealer sounds so promising! I've not tried acupuncture, but all fingers crossed that it works!

NewAgeDawning · 02/04/2026 23:41

@wonderlust07 @Moominmamato3 @PhoenixSTL Thank you ladies, I did call EPU in the end and they too weren't very helpful. Told me to ring back the next day but thankfully the spotting stopped as quickly as it came
@cgou1 Welcome! its early days but think we're all quite early! its 4+4 for me now
@koalaklub welcome! you might be ahead of us all. in previous pregnancies, id only start getting some serious symptoms by week 6. Hopefully you wont get any which would be the dream!
@PhoenixSTL Im still testing! Ive never been a serial tester but this time round Id like to keep a test progression memento for baby's memory box. I like to see the ones online which have always been helpful to me. @thehopelessoverthinker I have a digital ready for the weekend too!! My app says fetus is now 3 weeks. Does it mean that I should hope for a 3+ at this point?
@wonderlust07 let us know what your second blood draw says. Im sure it all points in the right direction
@Lookingtogrowthefamily Welcome! I am so sorry about your experience. I too had a tfmr last year. It was heartbreaking and it just makes new pregnancies so much more filled with anxiety. I'm also very bloated, not sure it means anything apart from the fact we're pregnant haha When did you get your positive?
@Ncl31 I did wonder how youd been doing, and if your nausea/sickness was still bothering you? Wow a dye stealer already, that's amazing and so reassuring. I also did acupuncture for this pregnancy. Truly believe it helped me conceive. Im only seeing my lady the week after next and will keep my visits to every other week because I cant afford to go more often

What prenatals is everyone taking? I took Wild Nutrition before but wanting something different this time round

wonderlust07 · 03/04/2026 06:19

@NewAgeDawning I think it’s better to be on their system than not. At least it’s stopped now.

My second bloods were 551.3, it was too late for the nurses to call but seems good. Will try and relax over the long weekend.

Ncl31 · 03/04/2026 07:46

@NewAgeDawning im still nauseous in the mornings but haven’t vomited since Tuesday.
im taking the inessa pregnancy multivitamins. Those were recommended from my acupuncture lady who also does Chinese herbal medicine. I started taking them when I first saw her on 01/03. She’s given me some electrolyte liquid to put in my water to keep me super hydrated too.

I've made it to Week 5 today - think I'm going to be celebrating each week as a milestone. I started taking Proceive Max a month and a half ago and Coq10. I think that's what helped us get a positive for this cycle. I've switched to Proceive for the 1st trimester now.

Alwaysgrowing · 03/04/2026 10:19

Hi all, I am saying hi. I am 5 weeks 3 days pregnant now. I woke up with sore boobs and a headache. But water helped. I've not had any nausea. My first pregnancy I only had maybe about a week or two of nausea from 7 weeks. My worst was headache and migraines. 2nd pregnancy I got COVID for the first time early pregnancy, I felt sick after a Chinese takeaway, but decided to take a lateral flow as my toddler had a cough had for a week but she'd become resistant of testing so did myself first. I couldn't distinguish between that and pregnancy symptoms. I have lower back pain then headaches for a few weeks, but not as bad as first time.

Yesterday we were having a day out and I felt slightly dizzy.

For now I'm just taking a standard, cheep multivitamin. Wouldn't nessersarly recommend it, but I want to take some iron as I've been anemic before. And it has folic tabs vit d. My assigned midwive at the time was into nutrition and disagreed with supplements. Except folic acid in the first trimester and vitamin d. But when I was diagnosed with anemia, another midwife said I should be taking multivitamins the whole pregnancy.

I do remember eating a banana every day last pregnancy for magnesium I think. It helped stop me getting leg cramps I got. This was later on though.

Sa11yCinnamon · 03/04/2026 12:45

I did another clearblue digital and am still on 1-2 weeks. I’m annoyed at myself for doing it because I know they’re not reliable and the exact same thing happened with my son, took ages to get 2-3 and I never got 3+. But I’m also so impatient šŸ™„

Lookingtogrowthefamily · 03/04/2026 13:05

I find it hard not to test @Sa11yCinnamon because there’s nothing else at the moment to go to for showing a pregnancy, if I’m making sense? So I find I rely on tests to still tell me I’m pregnant as it’s so early on there’s nothing else I can do to reconfirm. I feel for you because I know I would be annoyed too but if you’ve had that experience before then it’s not so worrying as that’s normal for you. I hope you’re okay šŸ«¶šŸ».

Thank you @NewAgeDawningsorry to hear you’ve been through it too. I know the bereavement midwife has said she provides support in future pregnancies. Have you had any experience with that? I don’t know if you have to be further along or what kind of support is offered. I think something to help me feel less anxious would help. I was nervous in my first pregnancy but always thought ā€œI can’t control anythingā€ and I would seem to stop worrying but this time round I feel so much worse and can’t even talk myself round.

I’m exactly 4w today and already comparing tests for the last 3 days questioning if there’s any progress šŸ„“šŸ™ƒ.

Does anyone have an podcasts they can recommend? I’ve got a toddler who keeps me busy in the day but could do with listening to something at night or reading maybe instead of doom scrolling and googling x

Sa11yCinnamon · 03/04/2026 13:11

@Lookingtogrowthefamily I’m absolutely fine, thanks - you’re spot on in that there’s just nothing else to do so early! I feel a lot more aware of my age and the higher risk this time round so it’s making the early days seem to go slower.

I like the Parenting Hell podcast for some light relief.

Moominmamato3 · 03/04/2026 14:41

I agree with those saying not much too do atm ~ I have my booking appointment with the midwife for the end of the month so I’ll be about 8.5 weeks but seems like a long time to wait! When is everyone else’s?

No symptoms for me just feel very bloated, probably jinxed myself and the nausea will hit hard next week.

PhoenixSTL · 03/04/2026 14:58

I've not self-referred to the midwives yet - will hopefully do that after the long weekend.
