Hey folks. Thought I’d set up a thread for those expecting in September next year. I got my bfp yesterday at 10dpo on Christmas Day 🥹. I think my due date would be around 6th September. It would be nice to keep in touch with some ladies going through similar things. Xxx

Definitely, I had a panic yesterday about not having as many cramps, took some tests and was so relieved to see 3+ and a dye stealer as I was exactly 5 weeks. I’m trying to just think positive from now on, but it’s hard!

@OneQuirkyPanda @thismonthsfad that must feel so reassuring! Pleased for you. I promised myself I wouldn't test again but treated myself to one before the return to the grind tomorrow 😩 Very happy to see a darker line.
Has anyone's crushing tiredness started yet? I'm hoping I can have one good week back at work before it really hits. I was going to potty train my DD too but think I'll put a pin in it for now 😂

Is anyone else struggling with mood? I’m feeling really irritable with OH and generally not particularly positive.

I have just come on to ask the same question, I am currently hiding back in bed as I feel so irritable again today. I am not wanting to be touched either, not sure if it is pregnancy related or just no alone time over the festive period 😅

Oh thank you for saying @Maybeanotherthat is so validating to hear that I just burst into tears 😂. Was wondering what on earth was wrong with me and struggling to blame the hormones for now feeling like I was regretting life choices.

Sorry for making you cry 😂 and that you are also feeling this way, very pleased it isn't just me though! I am only 4w + 5d, dread to think what it will be like when the hormones keep increasing.

Ha yeh I’m 5+0 as well. 🥴. Don’t have much in the way of other symptoms so far. Just extremely crabby… oh dear

Hi ladies! Joining you all for this! 4w+3 today (I think) got my 2-3 on digital yesterday!! I already have a son who’s 2 and symptoms so far bloating, excessive thirst and tired!!

self referral to midwives completed! Earlier than last time but know nhs is short at the moment so might be worth anyone who needs to that to consider it!

Yep! Saw the heartbeat on a scan and still finding it hard to believe! 😅

I’ve had my early scan today. Was very helpful for reassurance for me, and the assured me there was only one in there 😅 phew!

@LPiper how far along were you? Congrats !! I think it would deffo help me feel better. It did last time!

6+2, but measured as 6+3. Congrats to you too

Got my scan tomorrow morning… will be 6+2 based off LMP. Had a horrid weekend where I just can’t shake the feeling something is wrong. Stopped spotting for 3ish days but have started again today😢 (referred for scan due to brown spotting for 2 weeks)
so nervous about what they will find (or not find) on the scan.

Hi all, I hope you don't mind me joining. I'm due August 25th based off LMP but this is my 3rd baby and my other two were both very overdue, so I think I'll probably be having a September baby!
Hope everyone is feeling ok, I've had a day of feeling really sick today and not got off the sofa much.

I did a digital at 4+2 I’m now 4+5 and it said 1-2 however that wasn’t my fmu. I’m waiting until I’m 5+2 to test again and pray that it’s gone up! Once I get that 2-3 I’ll be booking in with the midwife! I’ve had 3 chemicals since September and I learnt the first time not to book anything until I’m further along 🤞🏽

I did a digital on Wednesday at 4+3 and it said 1-2, tested again later the same day and it said 2-3. I’m not sure they’re that accurate, I’ve been seeing visible progression in non-digital tests so find that reassuring.

Had my scan this morning… they can see the sac in uterus but too early to see anything else! Def not ectopic which was my biggest worry. Also had a bleed next to my sac which could be the reason for my spotting, they took measurements & will see if it goes down. Got a rescan in 2 weeks to see if they can see more and if its progressed🤞🏻 x

Self referred to the midwives today and i have the same one as last time which im very happy about! Dont think we will have an early scan this time unless anything changes. Only real symptom here is tiredness but im still co-sleeping with my little one so that will contribute! Need to start trying to transition him into the cot again soon

We cosleep here too!! So I feel this pain!

How far are you all ladies? I am 4w exactly (according to LMP).. This is my first pregnancy, i was thinking of self referring around 7-8 weeks... Not actually sure when the right time is as I am a newb lol!.. I am opting out of the 12 week scan but will have the other tests 💕

@thismonthsfad I have to wait until I'm six weeks to self-refer with my hospital trust, which for me is this Friday. It may be different where you are.

I just checked my local maternity service and it says I can self refer as soon as I find out. I will hold off another few weeks then self refer 😃

I’m 6+4. In my trust we can self refer from 6 weeks, so personally that’s what I did as I got that far, as I’m a newbie too and wanted the support as early as I could. They’ve already booked in my booking appointment.
