Just back from my GP check up - all looking good. I’ve really bad back pain the last few days and he reckons I might have pulled something. Recommended exercises and a birthing ball

Productive day today cleaning my room, hanging the rest of the baby clothes and putting stuff together.

@Confusedmermaid1honestly never been happier that he is here. I had a really good team of staff in theatre, who all knew me from all of these stays. And the theatre I gave birth is the one I gave birth in with my first son and had my stitch placed so fully done a full circle.

Aww sounds like a nice calm and comforting experience, im ok thanks still pregnant haha baby boy is just like nope! Im starting to wonder if my body's letting me get rid off this horrendous cold i have before labour starts xxx

Yeah overall it was they still had to press emergency button as he got stuck when cutting him out, but by the time the rest of the doctors ran in he was out. Apparently my skin was tight from my scar tissue from 1st c section. But when they took stitch out my cervix has soften and was prepping for labour!

He’s just too comfortable lol! Tbf with my first born I got a horrendous cold before I went into labour with him xxx

Eventful morning, came for my appointment at 8.30 and still here 😫

Protein in my urine and high blood pressure so was sent for bloods and repeat urine which was then sent to the lab. Then had to go to Emergency for BP monitoring and a trace on baby. BP was fine, first trace ended up picking up my heart rate so needed to get restarted. Then on the second one - near the end the baby started having a party and heart rate went high so had to stay on it longer.

Just waiting now for the lab results and to speak to the doctors

So BP and urine was fine but bloods showed reduced kidney function (which could be the start of BP problems) so back on Friday for repeat tests. See how they go and then they will make a plan - doc said aim is to get me to 39/40 weeks

@Gizmo1983 Just had a good cry when I saw your post here. Just overwhelmed with happiness for you. I am always dreadful at keeping up on these threads! Huge congratulations on baby Elizabeth's arrival. So very happy to see this. Sorry it was somewhat fraught and wishing you a safe and as speedy as possible recovery from your section.

All, Biggest congratulations to all who have given birth or are in the process. Sorry I'm so bad at keeping up!! had a consultant appointment on Monday. Baby was head down at 32 week scan but now has gone back to transverse at 34! Due another scan at 36 so will see what's what then but he said i will have to go into hospital if still transverse at 37 because of the risks involved if I go into labour, I was meant to be having a section at 37 weeks because of my immune issues but the consultant has pushed it back to 39 as baby seems to be doing well. As I am allergic to all manor of foods I am praying that I wont end up having to stay in for two weeks prior to section as heaven knows what they will be able to give me to eat!!
