Just back from my GP check up - all looking good. I’ve really bad back pain the last few days and he reckons I might have pulled something. Recommended exercises and a birthing ball

Ah these things happen for a reason. There is only one year and 2 weeks between myself and my sister.

Oh wow congratulations @Sunshinemoom that's wonderful news! We're keen for a second baby but I'm also slightly apprehensive about the possibility of two close together. Being 40 means I can't wait too long though. May bank holiday last year was when I found out I was pregnant with LO and she's now nearly 4 months.

Thank you!! Me and partner feel the same we know it’s going to hard but we make it work. Between my oldest and my step son there is 13 months. Now between atlas and new baby will be similar age gap 🙈 crazy how nearly have a 4 month old now!! The last year seems to have flown by

Wow and big congratulations! I can count on one hand with fingers to spare I think the number of times we’ve managed to DTD since F was born! Hope it’s a happy shock and you’re getting your head round it! xxx

I remember my siblings realising that their May birthdays put them 9 months after my parents wedding anniversary 😂 just to prepare you for the teenage years and them wondering what happened in April

Well we have a tooth! 😭😂
Anyone got any top teething tips because we are struggling! She doesn’t like any of the teethers I’ve got and I tried a cold cloth and she won’t put that in her mouth either even though she usually loves a chew on some fabric 😅 she also hates calpol 🙄

Nuby wrist pals are great as they can get a good grip on it and don’t drop it every 5 mins! We don’t have a tooth yet but I think she is teething x

We got a tooth over the bank holiday too! Mostly cracked her not to use my nipple as a teething toy 😅

She also absolutely detests calpol. We got a matchstick monkey which she likes and she is also a fan of Sophie… and any finger aside from hers that she can drag into her mouth. In my desperation I bought a teething ring that you can put in the fridge but, going by how she flings it across the room any time it is given to her, I don’t think she is a fan.

She was clamping on the nipple for a while which makes sense now! Luckily hasn’t done it with the tooth but I’m scared because it’s bloody sharp 😂
I was hoping she would have a matchstick monkey but she’s not a fan, I’ll keep trying her with it..

Looks like atlas top canines are coming through. I found the match stick monkey we’ve got like some nuby teethed dummy things. Then the Ashton and parson teething granules! Xx

@Sunshinemoom do you find the teething granules effective? I’ve git so many open bottles of things that she just refuses to take that I wasn't going to bother with gels/powders because I feel like she’s just going to refuse them 😬 if they make a difference I’ll give it a go! She’s a fussy madam 😂

Yeah it’s the only thing I find works for him anyway. And he’s eats it off the spoon. He likes it! And they don’t taste of anything. So maybe she be ok with it 😅🤣

We use the granules too, some days are easier than other to get her to take them
