Haha probably thinks you’ve splashed out on a lovely new bed for them 🤣❤️

My dog is so confused at the minute. Every time I talk to my bump he runs over like I’m talking to him 🤣 I don’t know if it’s because I use the same tone of voice or because I am saying ‘baby’. He’ll be fast asleep in his bed and I’llI say “oh hi baby you’re awake” (when the baby moves) and my dog runs over like “yes mum I’m awake, I’m here! What can I do for you?” 🤣

My husband was talking to the bump the other day and called him “buddy” which is also a nickname we use for the cat. The dog got so excited that the cat must be around that she jumped off the sofa and ran to the living room door to see where he was 😂 She looked very confused when she wandered back.

When i had ds i sort of had a aversion to our dog, which made me feel so guilty because he was my fur baby. It took a good few months to feel the bond again it was mad. He did become our sons best friend in all his baby picture. George (dog) is in everyone of them always there xxx

He couldn’t wait to get out of it 😂 He sleeps in my bed so hates if I try put him in anything else. Dying to see what he be like with the baby when he/she comes.

On for a moan this morning. Toddler refused to walk yesterday on a very short walk, ended up carrying her over my shoulder for a bit, think I’ve gave my self PGP. Pelvis at the back is in agony, might see about a massage or physio appointment.

Couldn’t face shopping and standing making dinner after that, got a Chinese take away - major regret felt rotten all night and heartburn through the night.

Toddler, who admittedly is usually an angel sleeper, decided to wake and cry from 12:40 to 4:30.

Morning sickness back this morning, had to call in sick again.

Partner travelling from work this morning until Wed night, nearly missed the boat due to also being up half the night.

Really need to get on top of my laundry and mop the floors and I can think of nothing worse.

My mood is at an all time low.

Moan away. A lot to happen at once for you. It’s hard to think positive when everything happening at once.

I totally get feeling down as well! Up half the night with bad cramps, think I did to much yesterday sickness also back with vengeance.

Oh you have every right to moan!! That sounds like a too much going on!! No judgement from us lot on ere 🤗

We are nearly there tho! Soon we will all be announcing our baby's or "am i in labour " 🤣🤣 how old is your toddler? I have a 4½ year old am I think if I had one younger I wouldn't be able to cope being pregnant xxx

WildFinch · 29/09/2025 17:32

Yes moan away @Nynm23. Those of you who have little ones already, hats off, I don't know how you juggle that. I felt so rough first 16 weeks I was functioning at about 60% and just had myself to care for!

This is interesting, do you think fatigue makes the sickness creep back in again? My work are struggling to see how I’m better one day then sick the next day..they aren’t overtly saying that, but i know that’s the discussions they’re having.

Toddler is 17 months - very spicy age. Knows what she wants cannot communicate it. There is a lot of tantrums and much more tv time than I would like but needs must atm.

Oh that is hard!! Remember that age well! Yep 100% wouldn't cope. Tv can be a great tool hahaha Least my ds has started school. I spent today on the couch. I did have every intention of doing all kinds but didnt happen and I just dont care today! I think being up half the night is a good enough excuse. Also my work prob rnt pleased with me either ive just got another sick note off the Dr, but sod them aswell xxx

I notice I feel more nauseous when I haven't slept well. Generally nausea has almost all gone but today for example I'm feeling it more after a restless night.

my son must be the same as he started reception he wakes through the night and says he misses me. If it’s nearly time to get up I don’t mind him getting into bed with me. But I’m trying to keep him in his own bed x

@Sunshinemoom you've also had alot of sickness too havbt you! I wouldn't worry unless a dr says otherwise x

Nynm23 · 30/09/2025 15:13

@Sunshinemoom they’ll soon start measuring your bump which should pick up if any concern re size of baby. Mine was picked up at 30 weeks (missed my appointment at 28 weeks) then was referred to growth clinic from there under consultant.

bump can also be smaller if you’ve a retroverted uterus x
