@Jadeypie 😂😂😂 I’ve done exactly the same has a total wobbler as my pj bottoms were too small and uncomfortable it was awful lol xxx

dubkitten · 30/11/2025 23:17

I haven’t reached the irritable stage yet but I’m sure it’s coming 😂😂

My new unwelcome pregnancy symptom is piles 😩🙈

Done a lot of walking this weekend as trying to finish Christmas shopping, it has my back very sore. I usually don’t use the heated seats in the car but they were a godsend on the drive home

The heated seats get a lot of use here too - absolute godsend!

Not ideal re the piles - is there anything you can do for those to prevent them getting worse before the babe arrives?

Piles are the worst!!! I just feel sick all the time since hitting the third trimester!!

I seriously feel like im running out of room for this baby his movements hurt!! Last night really felt like he was trying to break out my skin it looked it too hahshs xx

Sunshinemoom · 01/12/2025 07:39

I’ve decided that I’m having a prodromal labour with all the pains I’m getting which start and stop. I’ve had a few other labour signs as soon as they start they stop just as quickly 😅🤣 it’s definitely not helping my mood atm

The doctor has given me a cream so hopefully that will clear them up

Yeah possibly. I think that the only thing keeping baby in!! If I make it to my c section date around 39 weeks it come out then. If i go into labour beforehand then they take it out earlier.

how you feeling with stopping pessery?

hopefully doesn’t take long to be out your system

Gizmo1983 · 01/12/2025 09:51

Hi @Jadeypie i can not wait to stop the pessaries I hate them lol of all the things they will be the ones I’ll be happiest get rid of.
@Sunshinemoom you’ve really been through it haven’t you, you’re at an awesome gestation now be very interesting if they snipped that stitch to see what happened he may just pop out lol. Be interesting to see how long your cervix is now. I’d had nothing till this weekend but then I sneezed and I could feel the stitch pull and my braxton hicks have majorly picked up also when they happen I feel them pulling my cervix/vagina area which they didn’t before. Xxx

@Gizmo1983yeah I think if they took the stitch out he would be here. I walked my son to school today only across the road and baby so low down felt like he come out, and felt like I was gonna wet myself the whole time. The last time they check visually it was about 1cm they said so had got shorter. Ouch that you felt it. How your braxton hicks now? Xx

Gizmo1983 · 01/12/2025 10:19

@Sunshinemoom wow it sounds like he is super low doesn’t it are you about 35 weeks now?
I’ve ordered the silver cross cove it’s due to arrive mid December so cutting it fine but keep telling myself we won’t be out in it as soon as they’re born anyway so not too stressed has yours arrived xxx

Gizmo1983 · 01/12/2025 10:43

@Sunshinemoom yeah have had to go for a separate car seat as didn’t dare risk the wait for the silver cross xxx

Hi all. I hope everyone is good. Just wondering if anyone has been offered or considering being sterilised when they have their c section done? My consultant just mentioned he could do it at the same time, but just wondering if anyone else is having this done and done any research into it? Just wondering if it makes recovery longer etc.

Hey. I briefly looked into this as I definitely don’t want anymore children after this pregnancy. Consultant did say no just because of my age. So my other half getting vasectomy instead. However, from the research that I did depending on the type of sterilisation if they do tubal ligation there is a risk that the fallopian tubes can reconnect and if you do fall pregnant, you’re a higher risk of having an ectopic pregnancy. Which put me off. However I do believe the risk is low. Best people to ask is the consultants as they know more than me. If I remember correctly from what I had searched recover was no different.

I have considered it as I 100% know I do not want to be pregnant ever again. I honestly couldn’t do it again. I’m just not educated enough about the side effects. I have adhd (actually diagnosed by a psychiatrist) and my menstrual cycle hugely impacts my symptoms and management of it. I’d be so worried it gave me permanent pms - not actually researched that’s just me spiraling.

did the consultant give you much info?

WanderWalker · 01/12/2025 12:50

@Sunshinemoom thank you.

@Nynm23 I was worried how it would affect my menstrual cycle too. I was a little blind sided to be honest when he asked about it. I hadn’t really done any research into it and he didn’t give any info just that he could do it if I wanted to consider it.

I’ll try and do a bit of online research into it because I don’t see the consultant again now until my c section. I don’t want anymore children and I know after 3 c sections it gets more risky I just don’t want to do it if the side effects are awful. X
