I was at a family funeral the weekend and they played Bob Marley at the graveside - baby started kicking the hips off me.....must be a fan 😂

@Sunshinemoom glad he's still snug inside. It must be hard having to rest when you already have a little one!
@Jadeypie sorry to hear about the heartburn, I've had it quite a bit but not as bad as your describing..yet!

We got a car seat, pram etc as a travel bundle in the black Friday sales. Offer seemed too good to be true but it has turned up and seems to work all ok.

Currently 29w+4 and I'm sure she's had a growth spurt, my bump has grown a lot in the last week.

@WildFinchyeah it definitely been hard to just take a step back and rest. Xx

I am good thanks, have my 32 week check up on Thursday and a growth scan on Friday.

Baby very active the last few days and bump has definitely grown. Does anyone else feel like their bump is much bigger in the evenings?

Hope your scan goes well Friday!! And your check up Thursday!

yeah bump is definitely bigger in the evening! Xx

Thegirlhasnamechanged · 17/11/2025 16:54

Agree with others that bump seems to be bigger in the evenings. Had multiple people
on the school run this morning tell me that I’ve popped so much more than I looked on Friday so baby must’ve been in growing mode or something.

just twigged earlier that, given the longest I’ve been pregnant is 37 weeks, baby will be here before we know it. Suddenly feels very real!

@Jadeypie completely echo what others have said and ask the doctor to prescribe Omeprazole. Works wonders and haven’t been sicked from reflux since I started on it.

Haha having a little boogie! Mine always dances to the radio in the car haga.

My fatigue has come back i feel knackered again like the first trimester! Or its the sleepless nights.

On a brighter note I am super excited to meet this little man just crnt wait to smell him and cuddle him ahhaha any ftm you will get what I mean when I say smelling them hahaha xxx

WildFinch · 18/11/2025 19:09

Has anyone else had nausea return? I'm nearly 30 weeks and have noticed I'm feeling ill again in late afternoon/evenings. Similar to early pregnancy. Thought it had disappeared for good 😭

Confusedmermaid1 · 18/11/2025 20:09

@WildFinch a bit, thankfully not as bad as first trimester. I think for me it’s related to reflux/heartburn. Some of my weird food aversions have come back too. I couldn’t finish my very bland ham and cheese sandwich at lunch and that was one of my safe first trimester foods.. my bump is really high up so I don’t know if that’s something to do with it. Like you I thought I was past surviving on beige 😅😂

WildFinch · 18/11/2025 20:24

Thanks for the reply @Confusedmermaid1 that's interesting, I hadn't thought it could be related to reflux/heartburn. I've never really had that before pregnancy but definitely have been experiencing it lately. Also carrying high up so makes sense! Thank you!

I am still nauseous every morning when I wake up but usually ok once I eat something.

@WildFinch I’ve had random bursts of sickness and actually been sick a few times recently. I have heard it can return a bit in later pregnancy. My heartburn sometimes sets me off

I havnt been able to eat after 2pm because I get ill of the reflux indigestion and just crnt face food. Its like it takes hours for my food to digest. I went for a meal on Sunday had food at 4 and omg did I regret it!! Xx

Sunshinemoom · 19/11/2025 09:39

For everyone who struggling with heartburn, if you can stomach it. Try the little yogurt drinks or kefir yogurt. It’s help neutralise the acid in your stomach

Ugh @Jadeypie that sounds miserable! I've definitely noticed I can't eat late and can eat much smaller portions that before. Probably not a bad thing haha! Do you take anything for the heartburn?

I'm yoghurt obsessed at the moment. Even went to the shop in the pouring rain to get some yesterday as we'd run out.

I’ve had the opposite we know the baby’s name and we’ve told family and how many people have said to us are you sure? Because it’s an unusual name and my answer to it is if you fall pregnant and choose a different name that’s up to you, but this is the name we like. 😅😂 the name also has so much meaning for us. So I really don’t care on people opinions xx

Sunshinemoom · 19/11/2025 13:47

I’ve been losing so much of my mucus plug the last couple of days and it’s just increasing how much 😬

WildFinch · 19/11/2025 14:58

@Jadeypie we've had some questions about names but on the whole they've been good once we've said we're not sharing in advance. My DM randomly messages me names she likes. I have a list on my phone that DH and I go through and keep whittling down. I think we've got 2 or 3 top contenders.
@Sunshinemoom oh what does that mean for you and your cervix? I read the plug can reform but could it be a sign he's getting ready to come? Hope you're doing ok!

@WildFinchive been losing it the last couple weeks but tiny bits, it’s just upped it. Last night lost a got 10cm of it so think he might be getting ready to come. Especially with the pains I’ve been getting.

I spoke to triage earlier about the amount and they happy for me to stay home but call up if pains get worse and pain meds not helping, if baby movements change or it turns blood tinged. With my history they said worth coming in then just assume it regrow.

@Jadeypiethis is what I’m thinking. He’s gearing up to get ready to come. I know with my first born I lost it a couple days before then went into labour. Xx

I think he is especially if you've been losing bits and today quite alot, I would even assume maybe tonight it might gear up. Have u got everything sorted? Bags in the car whoever is having ds on standby? You must feel on high alert xx

Yeah I was wondering this! My tummy and pelvis felt so heavy today as well. But wasn’t sure if that was because I put up the Christmas tree earlier 😅 yeah everything sorted bags in the car, baby car seat in the car, my friend on standby if I go into labour to watch ds while my mum heads over to collect him. I’ve felt on high alert the last couple weeks with everything going on xx
